The Mozambique-Portuguese style foods there are really great! Clams starter is special and nice. Fillet and sliced potato are also very nice. The beef is soft and juicy. They serve the foods very quickly! The environment is also relaxing. Only flaw is that it's an open space so there is no air-conditioning and full of mosquitos. However, considering the uniqueness in Eswatini, I am willing to rate it 5 stars.

Great place! Have been twice and both times had great food, just a little slow, but honestly the perfect slow pace and nice patio space/interior to enjoy as you wait. Really lovely.

It's one of the best restaurants in Eswatini right now. The staff are really friendly and very attentive. The pizza is probably the best in Eswatini. Only wish they could serve breakfast and be open on Sundays.

Pizza was good. Service was slow. It was a warm day so the outdoor veranda was not comfortable.

A really great restaurant by all standards. The food is amazing! I highly recommend their Mozambican style grilled chicken, it is mouthwatering, and the Clams "Bulhão Pato" starter is delicious. Great service from a friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant's elegant decor is beautifully enhanced by a large avocado tree integrated as part of the structure, and with Bosa Nova and Kizomba playing in the background it is easy to let time drift away.

Without a doubt, hands down the best dinning experience I have had in Eswatini for many years. The authentic, made from scratch Mozambiqican/Portuguese dishes and general ambiance of the restaurant never fails transport me to a side walk cafe in Maputo! Excellent attention to detail on the decor, super friendly and attentive wait staff plus delicious cuisine makes this owner operated restaurant my favorite in Eswatini. Not to mention cocktails to die for...as with the cuisine staying absolutely true to authenticity. Highly recommend the fresh coconut milk basted Zambezi style grilled chicken.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5/5) From the moment you step into Freshly Ground, you're transported to a culinary experience where Afro-Portuguese flavours take centre stage. The atmosphere is both welcoming and elegant, setting the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary dining experience. The star of the show has to be the world-famous whole baby chicken, butterfly grilled with special marinade with Mozambique's finest recipes. The flavours are rich, the textures tender, and the presentation is nothing short of art. If meat is not your preference, the crunchy samosas are a must-try, offering a delightful crunch with an explosion of flavours. The juicy bitoque steak has earned its reputation as one of the best sellers, and it's easy to see why. Cooked to perfection, it's a testament to the skill and passion that goes into every dish at Freshly Ground. The service is impeccable, mirroring the restaurant's attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, ready to guide you through the menu and make recommendations tailored to your taste. One of the most impressive aspects of Freshly Ground is its commitment to using fresh ingredients. You can taste the quality in every bite, knowing that what's on your plate has been carefully selected and crafted with love. The venue is frequently at capacity, and it's no surprise considering the quality of the food and the experience as a whole. It's advisable to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

Great food with delicious flavours - some of the best food we had in Eswatini. We had prawns, clams, a kale coconut curry and coconut chicken - everything was great and also had fabulous service.

Really great Mozambican style restaurant with good wholesome food. Overall service was excellent from a friendly waitress and the management made an effort to come over and check up on us. Also a totally surreal experience compared to the Salt and Pepper club of my youth.
