Malolotja is very wide with its 18,000 hectares of alpine wilderness and forested river valleys, suitable for hiking, camping, canopy tour...Explore the beauty of the mountains, Malolotja waterfall is also good landscape, visitors can stay in campsites or self-catering chalets.

Favorite place to go walking. Easy to extreme routes. Safe to walk alone. Beautiful sceneries - breathtaking layers and layers of mountains, foothills and peaks unfolding with each step. Camping and overnight facilities comfortable and clean.

Beautiful mocha mountains! However, the route here is kind of tough. It's better you have a pair of professional hiking shoes before taking this challenge.

(Translated by Google) Difficult hike, lots of ground with rolling stones, bring good shoes. We did that of the waterfalls, we do not access the waterfalls but we can see them. The road to travel by car to get there is smashed, in a sedan it goes in the dry season.

Untouched nature! Many reviews mention that the paths are not well marked and easy to get lost, however if you are keen on a REAL hike/camp then the less human presence there is the better it is. We did end up getting lost for a few hours but that made it unforgettable. MAKE YOUR PATHS!

I am not a big hiker but I can truly say that the advice given on which trail to hike was excellent advice. The ranger was very friendly, really helpful, knowledgeable about all the routes and well informed about the current state of each route. The route was well marked and easy to follow. The hike it self was amazing with all the beauty of nature to admire and take in. Definitely a hike to consider if you have not been there yet.

Malolotja is a beautiful spot to camp, it isn't however a more than one-night stay camp for us. It is the most expensive camping in Eswatini & they don't accept Wildcards. Our review is based on the following: Facilities: The ablutions were lovely, had hot water for a lovely shower. The only thing was that there were no lights at night, so you have to get into that shower before the sun sets. Location: Beautiful location, we could, however, hear the road which is a bit of a letdown for such a beautiful spot. Hospitality: The lady at reception was lovely, however, didn't really give us much information about the park. The Gentleman (Dennis) who looks after the campsite, came to greet us and gave us some tips on what to do which were great. Even though we died walking the waterfall & back. Safety: I would say we felt safe, however, we are relatively close to the road. Price: Honestly the price is way too high compared to where you can go camp in Eswatini & they don't accept wildcards!

Erg mooi rustig park!

Lunaire...

Beautiful scenery. Very peaceful. We spotted quite some animals. However, signes are not obvious and may be overlooked. Also, the trail can be quite a physical challenge. Regardless, it is an amazing nature reserve!

Malolotja is a gem. The breathtaking views, great wildlife (including eland, zebra and warthog), wonderful meandering hikes and friendly people make this place one of my favorites for a weekend away. The sunsets from the cabins are always worth watching

We really need to get back and go for a solid hike! The mountains there date back 3.5 billion years; some of the oldest on earth! Would love to go on a week long camping trip! Such a beautiful place!

Very beautiful nature reserve in Swaziland. Good hike trails. But they are not well defined and you can be lost easily.

This is such a beautiful place, however it is not covid complient at all. No social distancing by day visitor's, no soap in the bathrooms at the campsite. We paid a good amount to camp here but day visitors come with alcohol and loud music, distributing the peace. The manager did come to see us 2 hours after the first complaint and sorted everything out. I was really taken a back by the way he handled the situation and sorted it out. I did appreciate his apology and I will recommend Malolotja for during the week not on weekends until they can handle vistors appropriately

My favorite place in Eswatini to see wildlife and to feel completely alone when camping and hiking. Many of my hiking friends have come to visit Eswatini and said this is one of the best hiking places they have ever been to. I couldn't agree more.

Ngwenya Mine is obviously a "ghost town" but the museum is well maintained. I had a personal guided tour for just a few Rand which was very interesting from a historical point of view and as a geologist I was very disappointed that it is unlikely to reach its full potential again. A "must see" if you've been to Pilgrims Rest, Bulembu, etc. - you can leave your family at the Glassworks coffee shop for an hour or so if they are more interested in the tourist shops!

Lovely and charming place, with the most beautifull mountain views. The chef, patrick, will prepare mouth watering meals, while also telling you more about his wonderfull country.
