i do not have a good review of this place frist the room smells so bad like perfume that you could taste it i can't do strong smells like that it made me almost puke why so strong there trying to cover up something i paid for 2 nights did not stay a single night this was nt the worst part next when i told the guy at the disk he immediately got defensive and was very rude i could not even have a conversation with him i was simply trying to explain how i felt about it i had to go . if you own a business be nice and listen to the guest i would not recommend this place mostly because of the owner being rude to continue after he left his review as a reply to mine he lied and said I wanted a refund I never once asked him for money back I left the review because he was so rude and that he needed to figure out how to treat his customers better when they try to talk to him instead of being combative right from the get-go he goes I'm not going to give you any money back I never asked him for money back the guy needs to grow up and be a better person maybe just maybe he should try going to church and seeing how Jesus love people and respected people when you give respect you get respect I encourage everybody to go look at all my reviews and this is the only bad we do I have ever given anyone I usually don't give bad reviews but he was such a comeback of person I felt I needed to look I spent $170 for two nights of room I could not stay there because it smelled so bad do you think I would go somewhere else and spend another $170 somewhere else to spend the night if I could stay there no the smell of the perfume was so thick they were trying to cover something up

Our group stayed as a semi-guided ice fishing weekend (we provided our own equipment). Kevin was very upfront with us the entire time about what to expect. A week prior to our stay he called to let us know that the fishing had been less than spectacular and that they had received a lot of snow making it hard to get around, allowing us to make an informed decision on coming or rescheduling. We opted to give it a go. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Kevin and his wife were very friendly. We spent two days fishing. They kept us on fish the entire time. The bite was not perfect but we caught a good amount of perch and walleye. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

We stay here every year spring or fall fishing, Kevin and Rika are awesome. The rooms are clean and easy to get in and out. You can also clean your fish right on the premises. Handy after long fishing day.

Great prices and nice clean room!! We got the kitchenette and it was so nice being able to cook my own meals! Location is quiet!

I would like to say our room was clean. Iā€™m 5ā€™ tall and when I sat on the toilet my knees hit the tub, so you can imagine when my friend who is 6ā€™ 2ā€ tall it became miserable. The tub was stained and very dirty.

We always have such a great time staying here! The rooms are clean, spacious, and affordable, and the owners are awesome. Love that they are pet friendly too. Highly recommend for the traveling sportsman/sportswoman!

We came to Devils Lake for a hunting trip. We arrived early and there was no problem checking in early. The lady in charge of housekeeping was filling in for the owners who were away. She was very friendly ,helpful and accommodating. Our dogs were allowed in the room with no extra charge. The lodge has accomodations for cleaning, tagging and storing fish, ducks and pheasants. Didn't have much luck with hunting and there was no problem checking out early. We'll be back next year for sure and I highly recommend that fishermen and hunters check the place out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great people that own this lodge. Rooms are perfect for a fisherman that just needs somewhere to lay their head. Dogs are welcome at no additional fee. No loud dogs were there when we were, rooms were not dirty like they had ever had dogs in them. Talked to the owner to give me some tips to fish Devils Lake since I was from out of town and there for one day. Needless to say, we caught fish where he said to go. SO THANK YOU! Will stay here again if we come back to Devils Lake.

Great place and great people! They gave us information on where to fish on the map, and we caught fish! The access was only 5 minutes away as well.
