Gets allot of hype in "what to do around Cairns" Personally I found Josephine falls to be the best overall in the region. The water is cold (colder than Josephine Falls) brackish and rough to walk into with lots of submerged stones and rocks (recommend wearing reef shoes) although the waterfall itself is quite spectacular and there are fish and turtles that you can see as well

Beautiful falls which you can swim in! An easy walk down man made steps from the car park, but be careful, slippery path when went. Toilets and change rooms available too.

One of the best water falls where you can swim with kids. Really love this place , take your swim clothes. Next to car park with toilets and changing rooms. If you go there donโ€™t miss other two falls nearby Zille and Ellinjaa.

Absolutely stunning waterfall. It is a must see. There is parking very close to the falls so the walk is less than 50m. You can swim here, whilst fairly shallow and sharp rocks itโ€™s well worth the short swim across to get under the falls. This waterfall is a part of a circuit consisting of Millaa Millaa , Zillie, and Ellinjaa. A short drive between the three falls and well worth it. Great day trip

Really a great place to see the falls and to have a picnic. A lot of people were swimming in the water. There are changing rooms near by. You have to walk about 10 min from the parking area to the falls. We can recommend this place. Everything is nice and clean.

Such a great waterfall. Went in for a swim in the murky water and loved it. The waterfall is ferocious, very loud but worth a swim up to and behind if youโ€™re a competent swimmer.

What a lovely place to visit. There are toilets and seats. There are a few steps to go down, but I managed it with a disability. You can swim in the pool below the waterfall..

Lovely falls, we came in July and it was really wet. Some people went for a swim but it's not very clear water when it's raining. Good for a quick photo opportunity but not much to do when it's wet weather. Disabled car park has access to the viewpoint .

This is โ€˜theโ€™ falls to visit. Most โ€˜Instagram-ableโ€™ and often the location where all the hair flick pics are taken. Make sure to not just take photo so close up .. but step back and take some pics with the flora and fauna in the foreground to create a better composition.

It is a very pretty spot in the Atherton Tablelands, which has a safe swimming hole. Just don't jump off the top of the waterfall. Carparking close by and toilets available.

Beautiful spot to swim on a hot day. Quick walk from car park to falls.. The car park easily fills, especially if larger RVs park there. There is a separate bus and van park below, but it could be hard to turn a larger van if someone parks thoughtlessly. The waterfall is spectacular, and can be busy, especially during school holidays. Plenty of green grass to picnic on. Change rooms and toilets. The little walking track is poorly formed, but the walk is beautiful. The other two falls in the circuit are worth a visit. One has a safe swimming hole as well but no toilets. The road approaching the falls goes through an especially dense pocket of rain forest for about 400 metres, setting the stage for Millaa Millaa. The nearby Caravan Park is very suitable for an overnight stay or launching point to see other attractions like Undara Lava Tubes, historic towns of Ravenshoe and Herberton and Tully Gorge Lookout, The Crater Lakes, just to name a few.

There will be 3 waterfalls to see if you go to the waterfalls scenic drive in Millaa Millaa, the total drive around 18km which didt take too long of you just touch and go. Out of all 3 waterfalls I feel Millaa Millaa waterfall is the best, easy accessibility from the car park, just around 5mins walking distance and you are right in front of the water wall. There is a beautiful waterfall there and there is a small pond there to let you swim. Good place to stop by.

Beautiful waterfall and carpark is right nearby although quite small, we were lucky to get the spot we did as many were already lining the side of the narrow road. It was very popular when we came, plenty of people swimming. Restrooms are not the best.

Such a beautiful spot and we basically had the place all to ourselves at the end of the day. It does get extremely busy though as it is such easy access. You can view the falls from the lower carpark!

Beautiful site, be aware that there is many other people there to have a swim and lounge by the fall so it may be a bit crowded and the bush turkey in the area will pester and mess with your stuff but it is still a great time to be had!
