Took my 7 year old sister bouldering for the first time here. She loved it so much we went back 3 days later. She loved that she had her own section to learn in, but was also able to come into the general hall (under my supervision) to attempt some of the lower colours. They also have a little cafe Included a picture of an overhang that ruined my holiday 🥲 might have to travel back just to attempt it again

My son attended a 9th birthday party here. He had a great time. The staff were excellent and a good sized party room after the climbing

Fantastic venue with so much room for climbers. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Most the people you will meet are also great meaning the atmosphere is also great. There is enough variety for everyone and multiple levels for creating space between climbers. There is also a shop and cafe so you aren't missing out if you spend a day here

Fantastic bouldering centre with plenty of routes to choose from that accommodate a wide range of experience. Additionally, the frequency of which they update the walls is perfect. The route setters always come up with new and interesting challenges regularly

Had the induction today as a group of 3 taken by Ethan and one other. Who gave a lot of insight into the sport and activity as a whole and had a wealth of knowledge that they were willing to share with us. Overall a great facility but an even better experience thanks to the staff.

Excellent climbing centre with a huge amount of variety of climbs to try out. Lots of different angles of climbs too. Would definitely recommend going. Student discounts at certain times of the week as well as women nights and LGBT+ nights,

Excellent, excellent, excellent! We took family (inc. a 6 and 7 year old) here. They were visiting from California and said that they were jealous as they didn't have any similar facilities near where they live! The wee ones absolutely loved the kids' area - especially climbing up the outside of the castle. This gave them confidence to transition to the walls next to the cafe, where they were made welcome by the other climbers there.

Great venue. Very big with many routes.went on Saturday peak time with quite a few people there and had no problems at all, no waotong for space to open up. It's quite hard to get to without a car, so I guess that's what makes it not crowded. Some grips are quite worn out so chalk is very much needed.

Brilliant place! Lots of good climbs for all different skill levels. As well as a non judgemental atmosphere that made beginners feel welcome. Will be back!!!!

Great facilities. Staff are really not very friendly though. Became a member for 6 months. Went 4 days a week. Only one staff member out of about 15-20 was actually pleasant and made an effort to talk or even smile. Staff are there for themselves not the members or guests. They are knowledgeable but the lack of welcoming atmosphere eventually put me off

Love this wall, but might have to buy them a new hoover for Christmas... Great layout, good vibes, excellent route setting, just wish I could see through the clouds of chalk/dust when it's busy!

Great climbing hall, good prices, great student deals, absolutely amazing music and very friendly atmosphere. It's also quite spacious and doesn't get too crowded usually.

Best climbing gym in Edinburgh. Only downside is the trek to get there from the centre. Other than that the routesetting is fantastic, facilities are great, a good set of beastmaker woodies, a full gym, a nice cafe, and a decent shop. What more could a climber want?

Lovely place to go bouldering everyone is friendly and willing to help you out. Great for beginners and experienced people. Got a wee gym bit and a nice cafe for when you need your caffeine hit halfway through!

I love how spacious the place and don't feel suffocated in comparison to other places I've been to around Edinburgh. The only down side. That I'd live eden to explain. What the hell is with your concession and student membership? 😂. Just £5 less for disabilities but a whole £25 less for students? Students are more richer than disabled people 😂

Fantastic bouldering venue if you are training for rock climbing. 3 woodies to go at, 3 circuit boards which had really good setting and you could link between them. The normal bouldering is very good too. With good setting and a nice mix of angles.

Great place to go and have a hearty workout whilst having fun. You find muscles that you didn't know existed 😁. Absolutely brilliant bouldering with so many different runs and levels of difficulty that you could go for months without getting fed up. Coffee and a kit shop too. Great place

I've been coming here for about 3 years now, was my favourite climbing centre until the new management arrived. I've just had an incident with my direct debit that cost me £165. The exact same issue was fixed by the previous management no problem and no fee. It's clear the new management could do the same but they just want to keep my money. What an absolute shame, loved this place but won't be back.
