Top notch Chinese spot in Edinburgh. Very authentic food with great service. You can see them making the dumplings in the window! Our favourite was the pan fried dumplings but everything was great, including their Chinese burger. Been multiple times and consistently delivers. Prices are reasonable (14 dumplings for £9.99). Doesn’t take card, but there’s an ATM across the street.

As a frequent costumer, here are my recommendations: ☀️Energise your day with pancake, bread stick, and warm soy milk 🍵Treat your friends with Cantonese dim sum platter &salt pepper platter& mix dumplings with green tea to relax in the middle of the day 🍲Main courses like dry pot or special hot pot with Tsingtao beer are best for the dinner 🌃Why not choose 3 different types snacks(only 10 £) or some spring rolls (only 1£) for the movie snack Pictures I took were pancakes and roast duck for my friends’ Chinese New Eve party and they really like 👍 Hope those comments are helpful for you if you are new visitor to Street of Beijing, I believe you will be a frequent consumer like me if you try the food and be served here 😀

The lamb griddle that they serve is probably the best dish I've ever tasted in the past few years. It has so much flavor to it!!! (Highly Recommended) Also the girl waiting on us was very kind. Overall, me and my friend had a great time. If anything, this place serves you dishes with a wide range of flavors. So, definitely worth visiting.❤️

Great food, great service. If you're looking for super awesome comfort food made from scratch, this is the spot. 😁 Also, I was literally the only non Chinese non English speaker in this bustling business, which is always a good rule of thumb when looking for authenticity. I just went in to try out a couple of apps, but there was a table of about 6 Chinese folk next to me who looked like they'd ordered like half the menu, and omg it looked amaaazingg, filled with variety and TOTALLY different from the standard blah blah chow mein etc type fare. They were all obviously loving it. I had major food envy lol, defo going back with friends. HIGHLY recommend! 🥰👏👍

On 20th November2023, after the regular check at the hospital, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. We had served by another young lady. She was also very good. Very comfortable restaurant. The Mabo Tofu cuisine and Special Chinese pancake were very good taste. We enjoyed very much. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you! Today, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our early dinner. Our ordered dishes were very good. All staffs were also very good. Really nice people, they're so sweet. The food is really good too! We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu, really wanna try their soup dumplings! The iced coffee they're doing right now is fantastic!! The gentleman behind the counter recommended it and so do I. Very nice.

Food is out of this world and excellent service. Teriyaki Chicken was lovely, Griddled Tofu Dry Pot was amazing. Whenever I'm in Edinburgh I always make sure I visit Street of Beijing.

I had a jiangbing and homemade soy milk to go. It was so delicious 😋 The lady that served me was friendly. Too bad I wasn't able to stay and try more of their dishes. They seem to have a huge selection of choices. I would love to visit again next time I'm in Edinburgh.

Probably wouldn't get the dim sum again as it was decent, but not amazing. The beef noodle soup was good! I liked how chewy the noodles were 🍜 The garlic broccoli was tender and not overcooked. Lots of garlic too!

If you want Chinese street food it's very good, prices were ok, unfortunately it's cash only but I managed to pay using WeChat pay. I thought some of the dishes were missing the sauce that are normally in them but not a bad effort.

The pancake was so delicious. Pork, egg, vegetables with some crispy thing in the pancake. It was one of the most delicious pancakes I have ever had. The service was very good as well. Staffs take good care of the customers with lovely smiles. I highly recommend it.

Amazing food and friendly staff such a cute little restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and extremely generous portions. I had the Spicy Beef noodle soup and was blown away. The beef itself was melting in the mouth and every spoonful of the spicy broth was bursting with flavour with a lovely kick of spice. The pork soup dumplings looked so good I had to have one before taking the picture. Absolutely excellent and so much food I will need a nap after.

Good food, but a bit salty for me. The iced green tea was sweet though, which I did not expect. Cheaper if you pay by cash :)

The food was delicious. Salt and pepper squid and tofu were supper crisp with awesome flavours. Beef Ho fun was delicious but fresh ho fun would be much better than dry ho fun. My favourite was the soy milk. It highlighted the meal.

Brilliant place. Good service. Had the char Siu and the chow mein. They were both really good. Good vegetarian options too. Would also recommend the custard buns for dessert.

Ordered a black bean beef & rice, with sides of spring rolls and prawn toast. Very good prices & affordable for very good food. Great service as well, nice friendly atmosphere. My only critique was the prawn toast tasted pretty burnt and lacked flavour, so only ate about half of it.

Looks like nothing in the outside but seemed fine as busy. Service was quick, and the staff were polite. Could do with a good clean that it what let's it down. Food was fine.
