If you are coming to Coeur d'Alene this is a must! There are so many hiking trails and places to sit and enjoy the view. If you want to add to it, go and walk the longest boardwalk in the world next door. Pro Tip - Take a detour 2 blocks and go to Woops Cafe. They have the best Macarons! Your taste buds will thank me later.

You're in North Idaho it's ok to say hi to people on the trail, LoL. I had a great trail run yesterday. I was worried it was going to be too busy due to the holiday weekend, and I got started so late (09:20am) in the morning. I usually try and run it during the week to avoid the crowds. It was a bit busy, but I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was. I say hi to almost everyone I see or pass on the trail. Usually most people during the off-season are very friendly, summer tourist season typically gets more people who will ignore you. I always think it's weird to be on a trail and pass another human with acknowledging them. Anyway, just my two cents. This day however as I looped the trail 3 times everyone was wonderful, friendly, and exhibited good trail courtesy. Tubbs is such a beautiful place and my favorite trail run due to the scenery and diverse terrain on the paths. I am glad everyone was enjoying themselves on the trail.

Beautiful, easy trail with lots of scenic view points of Lake Coeur d’Alene. The Main Loop Trail is about 2 miles and took my husband and I about an hour with frequent stops to take photos and enjoy the scenery. If you’re wondering about trail conditions, I’d check AllTrails for the most up-to-date reviews!

Great easy hike with beautiful lake views! Easy with baby carrying, dogs are allowed on leash and can even get down and take advantage of the park downtown.

Easy access to a defined trail where you can choose how adventurous you want to be. Many vista points to take in the views and water access.

Much nicer in spring and summer - there's still plenty of ice on the trails now. Still 5 stars because it's beautiful and there's fun to be had for free.

It's a nice hike with a view and a nearby park! The hike isn't terribly long but long enough to give you a good workout. It takes maybe an hour tops to go around the whole trial. The hike gives you some pretty views of the lake. This is one of the most well-known spots in Coeur d'Alene and if you visiting of a local, you should definitely try it out. The trail can be a bit crowded depending on the day and time.

The law enforcement memorial was absolutely beautiful! We went early one morning to drink our coffee and walk around. The park is well maintained.

We walked this hike many times when I was a child and went swimming too. Was so fun bringing my children back here now that I’m older. Expect a lot of up and down. On your own can probably easily finish the hike in an hour, but with children and photo stops expect to spend two hours.

I love this hike! It's so beautiful and not difficult; takes just about an hour if you stop to take in the sights a bit. Plenty of parking and not too busy in the early morning. Typically clean restrooms

This is great trail to hike or jog with great views of the lake. It is dog friendly, and also has nice public restrooms nearby. There are also many areas to access the lake if you are looking for a spot to play in the lake. We saw lots of people jumping from the rocks into the lake and lounging on the rocks.

Such a fun and absolutely beautiful hike. My sisters and I decided to take a hike and take advantage of us all being together to be able to do it. I can't tell you how actually captivating the views were. The water, the mountains, breathing the mountain air while gazing on the gorgeous Lake. I was sold, and I highly recommend EVERYONE to go hoke this hill, take the time as there are so many spots to walk down and cool off on your hike, in the lake. Do me a favor, che k it out, take your time and have the time of your life here! Cheers mother nature 🥂

It was so tranquil! The hike wasn’t too difficult for this Texas girl. The views were aplenty and the fact that downtown was only a few steps away was amazing as you feel like you’re away from it all. Totally recommend.

We loved this area. We parked, hiked Tubbs Hill, walked the longest floating boardwalk, and then explored the downtown area. Spent about 3 hours total, but you could spend a lot more.

Cool hill with a view of the lake. Moderate hike but when we went it was muddy/icy due to some strangely warm mid winter weather. I would recommend boots with good traction or even a pair of yaktracks if you are going nov-march.
