I feel like I'm the only one who had a problem with them based on reviews but it's really annoying. My fiance bought my engagement ring from Riddles and I love it. So we came in to look for wedding bands, we found one that I loved for a reasonable price and had them order it. They estimated a month for it to come to the store. I gave them a few extra days since we hadn't heard anything. I went in and asked about the order, the response I got was that it couldn't be fulfilled by the vendor. But this wasn't communicated until a month later AND I came in to ask. No phone call or email. So I had them order with a new vendor. Told about a week for it to come in. Went in a week later, hadn't been ordered yet. Told them to order it AGAIN. Still nothing and it's 2 months after the original order was "placed". Still have heard absolutely nothing with a month till my wedding. Was able to go to a competitor and buy the same ring for the same price and take it home that day. There was no communication from the store to me or my fiance about the status of the order so we gave up with them.

They helped find the ring I wanted, held it for a few days while I was not able to get it and were very friendly while finishing the sale explaining everything clearly and we're excited to help it seemed.

Ive been a customer for over 20 years, and the staff is always very helpful. They put notes in my file so I wouldn't have to explain my situation every time I went in to have my rings inspected. We discussed options for another ring that was purchased and they gave me great suggestions, I highly recommend them to everyone.

I was looking for a necklace and earrings for our Swedish exchange student. I stopped at Riddle's Jewelry in Coralville and found a wide selection of jewelry in different colored stones. With the help of a friendly sales clerk, I was able to make a fine selection of an Aquamarine set. I was very pleased with the service I received and the merchandise I purchased. I would definitely shop here again.

This is by far my favorite jewelry store. The staff is amazing. Extremely helpful and knowable. They don’t just sell you items to make a sale they explain the difference in the type stones you’re interested in and let you judge for yourself which one to go with. They really helped me make my husbands birthday and anniversary so memorable.

This was my first time purchasing from Riddles. I was so pleased from the time I walked in the store to the time I picked up my special order! I was shopping for a wedding band and asked the lady to check my ring size. She instantly started fitting my engagement ring into her fingers instead of using the measuring tool. She was like oh it’s a 5 after trying it on her ring finger. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. You don’t put someone else’s ring on your finger. As some who works in a jewelry shop you should know that.

All I needed was a new spring ring clasp. They quoted me at $25 when I returned to pick up they said my total was $45 which is petty sneaky of them. The following day after wearing I realized the necklace is much about an inch shorter than when I took it in. They removed some links and didn’t tell me. There was nothing wrong with any other links. It’s a 14K gold necklace. Again, pretty sneaky of them.

Love these guy! I’ve had several pieces repaired or sized at Riddles. My daughter bought her husband’s band there as well. They are super friendly and great service! I will continue to do business here!

I am typically skeptical of going to a jewelry store in a mall, but I only needed some watch links removed from a new watch that I had gotten. Overall, I had a bad experience and would not recommend this place. I spent about 45 minutes in the store and they ended up not being able to remove all requested links and they still charged me $20. I took it to another jeweler the next day and they were able to remove the remaining cuffs within 10 minutes and only charged $10.

My necklace broke, simple fix but I don’t know how to solder sterling silver. Went to some other jewelers first and they directed me here. Quoted me higher than the final price which was a pleasant surprise. Quick service, friendly staff.

Best jewelry store I have ever been in, and I have been in a lot of them. Kelsey was fantastic! She knew exactly what I wanted and took me right to it. She was honest and didn’t try to sell me an overpriced piece of jewelry. It’s rare to come across people like her. I was in and out in 10 minutes! I strongly encourage and recommend passing by all of the other jewelry storefronts and make your first stop Riddle’s Jewelry.

So thankful for the assistance of Dawn and Jessica today. Our daughter is in her first year of college and these two ladies help us build her first Pandora bracelet. We chose the bracelet together and then picked out a meaningful charm with our individual intentions. This afternoon was a lovely experience and I am thankful to have this gift for our well deserving young woman.

We had been wanting to get new wedding bands in honor of our 30th wedding anniversary and shopped several jewelry stores. We were greeted by Kelsey and she was amazing!! Very professional, super accommodating and didn’t try to rush us as we spent quite awhile making our final decision. She took the time to explain the difference in diamonds, lab grown verses natural and suggested several combinations once she knew what we were looking for! I would highly recommend Riddles Jewelry to anyone who is looking to purchase any type of jewelry. They have a huge selection to choose from and the best part is they have jewelers in house.

Extremely poor experience, very poor service. I gave one star because there was no option for zero. My friend and I went to pick out a graduation gift for another friend of ours. There was a sales lady putting together a display and didn't even look up at us when she saw us enter until I asked her if she could show me a Pandora bracelet for me. She told me very unhappily that the bracelets and pendants were sold separately. To me, her attitude seemed to question me if you could afford to pay separate prices, which made me sad. My mood of picking out a gift for my friend was ruined, and then I tried to stay calm. By the time I said I wanted to check out, the lady was unhappy and impatiently questioned me about what size I needed. I didn't feel she offered the help she should have offered me, she didn't ask if I needed help picking out the right size, her attitude made me feel like I was doing something wrong, and she seemed to think that everyone should know the right size jewelry for themselves. If I knew everything there was to know about jewelry, why would I need sales to help me? So I told her I wanted a different sale to help me, and she started to get angry and explain. She thought it was my fault that I was preventing her from selling me this bracelet because I didn't tell her my size. It never occurred to her that I just didn't know which size would fit, and she never asked me who I was buying this bracelet for and if I needed a size recommendation. She then called her colleague, still emphasizing that I was the one not providing useful information, and stubbornly asked for a new sale. Although the new sales was not enthusiastic either, at least she helped me find the right size. Throughout, I didn't see a smile or respect, didn't get the help I needed, and didn't hear a single apology. At least I said I was sorry when I suggested I wanted a different sales person. I just don't understand why I would get treated this way.

Kim helped me pick out the perfect engagement ring for my soon to be wife. She was always quick to respond, flexible, and took a genuine interest in our story, making sure the experience was best for us. All with no pressure to buy the entire time. She offered great discounts and flexible payment options, and provided valuable insight and guidance throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend Kim, and I could not be happier with my buying experience.

When I walked in with my mother to get our family rings sized and separated the 2 working greeted us with smiles and great personalities. We had just gone to Kay's and the guy was very rude and short with us so to have these 2 so just happy and friendly was great. Then they did all of our rings for like half the price of what kay said they would do it for. 🤙 they joked with us and each other and got the job done quick and easy. I will definitely be using them in the future. Good job guys!!
