This hotel is well-appointed and you can feel the friendliness the minute you walk in the door and are warmly greeted by the receptionist. A nice fire is burning in the fireplace and is plenty of seating area to sit and relax. There was a piano there but nobody was playing it. The room is well-appointed and has everything a guest would need. The swimming pool looks nice but it was crowded with young people. There is a very large Courtyard in the back with comfortable seating outside.

So close to everything downtown. 8 minute walk to art district. Very cute lodge style property with thoughtful decorations. I wish I got the front desk person's name who helped me. She was always there late, over her shift, and first thing in the morning. She was so nice and helpful, I appreciated her a lot. Breakfast was good! Everything was really clean. There were a lot of kids on property being cute and playing in the lobby commons and in the pool. I loved the noise because it was really quiet without my kids and I missed them. If you aren't a person who loves kiddo noise, keep that in mind. It is a little expensive but it was worth it this time.

The rooms were nice and clean! The beds were comfortable and I have to say thank you to Sadie S for taking pitty on me after a booking error over the phone. She was truly the hero of my night!

Across from the Hard Rock Casino and hotel. Tons of parking and space enough for a semi in the overflow parking across the street from the Hard rock. Makes a good close walk for many different restaurants. Fancy hotel with a nice pub. If u don't like the small intimate feel of the pub you can head over to the Casino and there is many other choices of restaurants

Loved the jacuzzi room with the balcony! It was a HUGE space with a fireplace and wet bar as well. Giant king bed and was super comfy! Felt like a studio apartment. The staff were very nice and helpful. Hot free breakfast was good with lots to chose from. The indoor/outdoor pool is nice but often full of kids. They do have adults only from 10p-11p. Overall a great stay. Only negative is its a little pricey but if your there for a concert or downtown scene it's close to all that.

Western themed with mounted beasties on the wall. They serve great pizza in their small on site pub. The free breakfast was average. Friendly service. Lots of restaurants near by

We had a great stay on our way out to Denver from Minneapolis. Comfy room and great hospitality. Thank you to the amazing staff and shout out to Mason for making our nights stay the best experience. That man deserves a raise.

I really liked this hotel. It has log cabin decor and is pretty nice overall. It hits all the major options you would expect in a hotel. It has an indoor/outdoor pool and a koi pond. I really enjoyed feeding the fish. It is also within walking distance to several different restaurants and other businesses / venues. Overall I will definitely be staying again when I am in the area.

Overall the location was perfect for our families needs. However, if you want a good nights rest....stay somewhere else. They won't do anything to stop the dog in the room below you from barking all night long. We called the front desk - nothing. We went down to the front desk - nothing. When I emailed the manager, I got no response. I guess it's ok with them and wouldn't anticipate any help in the future. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

I recently stayed here two nights on a road trip (though not two nights in a row) and I was very pleased. The front desk staff were very courteous. My rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. My only complaint would be the low water pressure in the shower.

We recently held our Mom's funeral in Sioux City. We were able to easily get a block of rooms for family at a very reasonable rate. The hotel is very convenient and large enough to accommodate our large family. So many areas to sit and visit. We rented a private room one evening and ordered sandwiches and wraps. They were fresh and delicious and made on site. So many options to choose from as well. The staff made it very easy for me to make all of the arrangements from a distance at a very stressful time in our lives. We are so thankful for their professionalism and kindness.

No complaints and didn’t want to leave. Arrived with two dogs and they treated us wonderful. I will probably try to only stay here when in South Dakota. For what it’s worth, I’ve traveled a good bit of the U.S., Europe, Caribbean, and other places in the world (Fiji, Australia, i.e.) staying in 4 and 5 star accommodations, and I very much loved Stony Creek.

Rooms are nice and clean. The only thing that was not 5 stars was the free breakfast service. I was trying to read (forgot my glasses in the room) the instructions for the pancake machine and I was told that they were closed at 9:30 am. I looked at the clock and it said that it was 9:34 am. She then proceeded to turn off the pancake machine instead of helping me.

This was a pretty great hotel honestly. Super busy though. I think there was honestly a timing thing because a wedding, two birthday parties and prom all in one night was too much for me lol. The pool was extremely overloaded. The staff were excellent though. The building was fabulous, not over the top but a comfortable environment otherwise. We were there for Dance at the convention center so pretty close by.

Bernadette at the front desk was amazing! My jucazi suit was good, but I grossed out having the bathroom sink in the main living space. Completely separate from the bathroom. The bed was bouncy but comfortable. I really enjoyed the views of downtown, it’s nice and close to some great locations.

Great location, cozy atmosphere, unique layout. All at a good price. Definitely glad I stayed here. Hotel staff was also friendly with recommendations for things around town. Only complaint was the air units were a little loud, but maybe that's just the price of the top floor. Would stay again.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable with very professional and accommodating staff!! We just spent the weekend for a family reunion. 25 people, 7 rooms to include a double queen, a few king deluxe and a couple family rooms that provided comfortable sleeping and living quarters for all. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, breakfast was great and the entire time we spent there was relaxing and hassle free! Kids loved swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool and playing in the courtyard. Highly recommend! We will choose this hotel again next year!!!

I'm not sure where to begin to describe what an incredible hotel this is. Our son has cerebral palsy and drives a power wheelchair. The room they recommended for us worked beautifully! There was plenty of room for him to move around. The friendliness was top notch as well as the cleanliness. Definitely giving this five stars for everything! Is very highly recommend!!!

I was planning a birthday party at another hotel in Sioux City because they had a slide... well after conversing with said Hotel, they wouldn't be able to allow me to have a birthday party there unless I purchased the business meeting room. After I purchased the meeting room, they still wouldn't be able to stay the night. So I'd be spending over $250.00 to have a party just to swim for a couple hours. So I reached out to Angela Lias, Sales at Stoney Creek, and asked her what she could do. She found me a room that was suitable AND where the kids could stay the night... all under the price that the other hotel was going to charge. Angela saved my kiddos birthday party and me a bunch of stress. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. Pick the Stoney Creek!

Amazing hotel in Sioux City. Warm environment. Friendly staff. Decent prices. We are loving our stay here so far. The pool is great. It's indoor and outdoor even in the winter. So exhilarating!!!!

The rooms were wonderful. I have to say that the bartender named Josh was amazing. Have him make you a green tea shot. Hands down I can say that I had a wonderful time there and look forward to many more stays in the future!!

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This website will compare countless hotel sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed. We loved the overall decorating theme-north woodsy feel. Very friendly and helpful staff. A Bar happy hour, quiet backyard landscaping with a pond/waterfall feature, and a nice swimming pool.

This hotel is actually pretty awesome. It has a great location. Awesome customer service. Clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. The only reason for my 3 stars is the beds are terrible and extremely hard. I had 2 horrible nights of sleep in a row. I was hoping for this price that the beds would have been comfortable.

Nice place. Nice location. Room could use some updating and deep cleaning. Whirlpool tub only some jets worked and they need some chrome cleaner 😆, and vacuum under things (sit in the chair and look towards the tv). Fridge never really got cold...just the little things. Price didn't match what you should have got. Staff was great.

Staff was THE BEST! Our son was married there, had the reception there, and our rehearsal dinner. Everyone was kind, courteous, very helpful, and went above and beyond! The outdoor space for the wedding was so beautiful! The reception ballroom was wonderful and again the staff were GREAT! Rooms were clean and very reasonably priced! Will definitely stay there again! By far the best place we’ve stayed. Breakfast was awesome too! This was a wonderful wedding venue also!

We got a suite and is one of the nicest rooms I've had in all my years of traveling. And at a really affordable price (Mid-week/off-season price). The main living area is as big as most standard hotel rooms, with a bar. The room came with a jacuzzi tub as part of the sleeping quarters and a separate bathroom/ shower area. Plus, a spacious enclosed balcony. Each area had a TV set of its own. Awesome place at a really affordable price.

Seems like a decent place with nice decor. The room could be maintained a little better and the beds were not the best quality. Swimming pool was nice with indoor and outdoor options both connected through the wall, separated by a nice looking waterfall feature. Hot tub also available. Overall not bad experience.

The room was exceptionally clean. Bed was very nice. Jacuzzi was pleasant. It was very much not worth the price. It had the feel that it started off wanting to be a very high end lodge type hotel but the developer only had Super 8 capital. Nothing against it. Very nice. But, not worth the price.
