There was a Scripture-centric message throughout. If you're a tourist, be prepared for the fact that there is usually no air conditioning in the churches here. If there is little breeze and or if it hot outside, you may be uncomfortably warm inside. Nevertheless, it is an architectural, artistic, and cultural wonder that is a necessary stop for anyone who wants to get to know San José.

It's a very nice place and is located in central downtown San Jose. I went to Mass on Sunday there and it felt like a traditional catholic mass. I returned another day to take a picture. There are various statues of saints inside as well and there is a church bell that occassionally rings. It is a very traditional catholic church and a great landmark to visit.
