I highly recommend visiting, you won't regret it and on top of that it's free. The Museum has works of art, antique furniture, busts and very beautiful tiles. And there are other exhibitions that show a little of the history of the Itu region.

The place is maintained by USP, with free entry. There are places to park around, but if you don't have a space, there are also parking lots around. The museum is about the Itu republican convention, which was the first republican convention in the country in 1873. There is a lot of information in the museum and readings, you can spend more than 1 hour in the museum.

When visiting the city of Itu, you cannot miss a visit to this Museum, which is next to the headquarters and is easy to find. The building has its own charm, both for its eclectic architecture and for the interior decoration of the hall, all in tiles painted with historical moments of the city (including the tragedy of the Leme brothers).
