5 stars for free! Tuesday for free! Cool you're actually right under the stadium seats, gives off an urban backstreet vibe. Futbol lovers can spend hours here I imagine, this is a nice 45 minute stop for me. Kkk.

Couldn't buy tickets online. Tried 3 different US credit cards from 3 different banks. I guess it's just hard to use a US credit card in Brazil. And there's no in-person option to buy tickets due to Covid.

A museum full of history in every aspect, not only about football itself but also how global events and the passing of the years in Brazil shaped and influenced the course of this amazing sport, but also how itself changed a nation and the world too! Diverse rooms full of pictures, videos, memorabilia, recordings of radio transmissions of old matches, and interactive games make this museum a MUST SEE in São Paulo! And to top it off: a café/bar to drink a coffee or a cold beer after the intense walking and admiration of the museum! I highly recommend it!

I like visiting a new stadium, would have preferred to be able to see the stadium as part of the visit to the museum. The exposition is really cool and interesting, lots of interactive things to do. Only thing I would suggest is to add English descriptions as for me, no portuguese speaker, think I missed a lot of the content. Yet, it was free to enter on Sunday

I am from the US, and I'm not a soccer (futbol) fan. When visiting Brazil, it's hard not to appreciate soccer and what it means to Brazilians. This great museum showcases that perfectly. It was a great rate R$20 and had many wonderful photos, memorabilia, videos, interactive exhibits. It's located at an old soccer stadium, so an added bonus is seeing the remains of the stadium. A must see even if you're like me and not a soccer fan.

If you're looking for something cultural to see this place is on point. What better place to visit than a futball (soccer) museum when in Brazil. This place has a good history of futball in Brazil and around the world and some amazing displays. It is well set out and you can walk from section to the next easily learning and discovering one thing after the other about the beautiful game in Sao Paulo. My personal favorites where their displays of the balls used throughout history. The evolution of the futball boot or cleat throughout the years and their display for each world cup showing the culture and history. I would recommend to check this place out if you are in town.

Another fantastic place to visit in Sao Paulo. You don't even need to like football to enjoy this amazingly curated museum. There are so many wonderfully interactive exhibits that will engage, educate, and excite you! It is also recommended to get some pastel from the local venders in the parking lot. It is some of the best pastel in the city. Fun for the whole family!

Overall very interesting place. Definitely worth visiting. The ticket price is very reasonable - I paid R$20 (1 adult on Sunday). It’s interactive and has some nice attractions like possibility to take a photo with virtual World Cup. I wish it was more bi-lingual. Most descriptions are in Portuguese and lack EN version.

The Football Museum in São Paulo is a captivating experience for lovers of Brazil's most popular sport. With its location inside the iconic Pacaembu Stadium, the museum offers an immersion in the history of national football. Positives: The well-organized exhibition provides a rich chronological journey, from the beginnings to the historic moments of the World Cups. Audio-visual aids, including videos and moving narrations, make the visit engaging. In addition, interactive interactions such as virtual goal kicks and 3D football games captivate visitors, especially children and teenagers. Negative points: On days of great flow, the museum can be crowded, which can diminish the experience, making it difficult to appreciate some exhibits. On the day of my visit, there were several pieces of equipment without proper maintenance or out of service, a pity. In reality, I believe that it is already necessary to reform, update (there are many clubs that are not even mentioned throughout the exhibition) and general improvement of the environment. Overall, the Football Museum is a must-see destination for anyone wanting to experience the rich history and culture of Brazilian football, but it is recommended to plan your visit on less busy days to fully enjoy the experience.

Worth visiting. Free entrance on tuesdays but needs online reservation days ahead to get a ticket. Your QR code will be scanned at the entrance. Nice museum. Very interactive, the exhibits are very modern and very creative, very enticing. Even not a football fan will enjoy this museum. I envy we dont have this kind of museum. One of the modern museums around Paulista area. The art deco stadium itself is worth a visit. During my last visit they are overhauling the bleachers, an upgrade or restoration maybe , not so sure. A must see in Paulista area..

I would definitely recommend this amazing place to everyone visiting Sao Paolo. You can deeply feel the love and passion of Brazilians for soccer even you are not into the soccer that much:) You can enjoy the interactive portions while viewing holograms of Brazil's famous soccer players. The best place to visit and to buy gifts for soccer fans!

Great museum, if you don't speak Portuguese you should get the English translation device from the ticket office. It's an interesting listen and explains the history of football in Brazil. The entry fee is not very much and there are lots of interactive areas. Some with English translation. The atmosphere and design (with a lot of multimedia) is fun and colourful. Also a great gift store.

The museum is located inside Sao Paulo's Municipal Stadium right under the seats. The stadium is not big nor modern but it's very tidy and well kept. The items on display are good but not amazing. One of the highlights is the World Cup History. I liked the way it was mounted. I would say that 50% is interesting for all kind of tourists while the remaining 50% might only be interesting for Brazilians. My favorite sections were: the field access in which you can walk on the side of the lawn and the naked structure below the seats in which you stand there and "feel" the trembling and noise of the "torcida" above you.

(Translated by Google) The site houses several temporary and permanent exhibitions that tell and expose historical landmarks of Brazilian football. Its area is very large, inside it has walls with photos, a model of the stadium, pictures and other objects related to the sport. In other facilities, we find audio booths with unforgettable goal narrations and TV monitors that show historical games. It is a great tour option for soccer lovers, Brazilians and tourists. You can go by car and leave it parked at Charles Miller Square, and also as a public transport option, take the subway and get off at the Clinicas Station and walk for about 15 minutes or take an uber / taxi. A person very passionate about football can easily spend 3 hours in the museum, interacting with the devices, without seeing the time pass. For those less enthusiastic about the subject, 1 hour is sufficient for a complete visit. The collection is predominantly technological. I didn't see any guide / monitor, but the tour is intuitive. The Football Museum in São Paulo is one of the best attractions for children and grown-ups when visiting the big city. Admission free on every Tuesday, it opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. People spend approximately 1 to 2 hours walking around its 3 floors (ground floor + 2 extras floors). Not only does it tell the Football history (known also as soccer) from the Brazilian perspective, but also from a cultural and global one, including world's facts and news from the 19th and 20th centuries. There are fun and interesting activities like shooting a ball in a virtual booth. Sensors installed in the ground measure your kick speed. And there's a virtual goalkeeper! There are 5 fussball tables with a different strategy in each of them. You can play also a virtual soccer match. Cameras and sensors detect your movement and it feels like you're playing a video game. It's not that accurate, but it makes the tour a lot more fun. I totally recommend it! It's worth visiting it.

(Translated by Google) As I left in the evaluation of the stadium, I recommend that you visit the Estádio do Dragão in Porto to bring ideas to improve the structure and reception to visitors. Although the history of football in Brazil is extensive and impossible to gather a little bit of everything in a museum, it is possible to better organize matters in order to create in the public the cultural value of sport in society in this country, and not only satisfy the passion. Football needs a vision that shares health (sport / health), social contribution (and not only the social column view of clubs and their athletes) and the museum gives a special focus to the place, the history of Pacaembu and its contribution to the São Paulo capital, teams from the city, the São Paulo representation in the Brazilian scenario. As I mentioned, a Brazilian football museum would have to be a giant. The best would be to make this space more focused on the reality of São Paulo. And the main one, the support to visitors, especially to tourists, improving the gastronomy in the surroundings and the orientation. In addition, the collection is great.

It was nice to see all of the cool old & new pictures and jerseys of the "beautiful game". Everything is obviously in Portuguese but there are some signs that are in English which was nice. All In all, it's not bad for 20 Brazilian reias (roughly $5 US).

  • 4/5 Lee H. 1 year ago on Google
A good place to spend awhile looking around and learning about the history of football in Brazil. Many different exhibits chronicling the history of football in this nation. My only complaint would be a lack of English information sometimes, and so I had to skip some parts of the museum as I didn't really understand what they wanted to explain.

  • 5/5 Mark S. 1 year ago on Google

Nice museum with a lot of facts. Unfortunately the most texts are only in Portuguese. So you should use the English audio guide. Best thing: when I was there (weekdays) the tickets were for free.

Interesting place to visit if you have time. Small museum at the stadium. They have all kinds of soccer I spires games and you can even play some. Free admittance. The little street fair at the stadium parking lot has the best pastel.
