Amazing modern art museum containing some of the most cutting edge pieces of art work in the area. Every year they sponsor new developing artists to showcase their work bringing to light the definition of a modern art museum. Admission prices are extremely low and the staff is extremely friendly. They even sponsored a dance show outside of the museum with street performers form all over the city congregating here to show off their moves. Some of them quite impressive and a large crowd was gathering outside. Inside is a mostly tranquil Oasis and the system was broken so they were letting people in for free as well. There's also no admission on Saturdays which makes it a great spot to swing by and take in the artwork. Parking is plentiful nearby but may fill during peak periods.

This place is not a museum, it is more of an art gallery with a temporary exhibition - 2 rooms in which there are some things that can hardly be called art. There are no descriptions of what they refer to next to the 'works', there is only a note about the author. I did it in less than 18 minutes. Others write about 10 minutes in their opinions. The only plus is that I visited the exhibition on Sunday, when the entrance is free. At least I saved my money. No folders or any informations in english at entrance

It is a the Modern Brazilian Art Museum (MAM). It is free entry. It is kinda small but very worth it. Staff is nice and very polite. The building has a very interesting structure. It has a very nice museum practicum and education work. Most of the pieces are allow to take pictures, some of them not. If you have a back pack or you are carrying something big, you have to left it on the principal desk on the entry.

The museum is tiny. Only has 2 rooms. And I spent 20 minutes in the line. For some reason they need your name and email address to allow entry.

One of the best things about living in Sao Paulo City is all the museums, including this one. Just last night I stumbled upon one I’d never been to before. I know a lot about art, so I am confident in my assertion that I had a lot of fun there, and it is probably better than any museum I have ever been to.

There it is possible to attend temporary exhibitions, visit the restaurant overlooking the park, the souvenir shop, the studio, the library with more than 60 thousand volumes, the auditorium, or even one of the many courses related to its proposal as art history. , photography, drawing, painting, theater and costumes. Its permanent collection has more than 5,500 pieces of which, most interestingly, most are contemporary post-1945, rather than modern (from the 19th to the mid-20th century) as the name of the museum might suggest. Rarely exposed in its fullness, the collection includes paintings, sculptures, installations and photographs by artists such as José Resende, Volpi, Ligia Clark and Mira Schnedel, Leonilson, Leda Catunda, Dora Longo Bahia and Sandra Cinto.

(Translated by Google) Better known as MAM, it has a mixed function as a museum and cultural center. The museum's surroundings are an attraction in themselves. It is possible to observe one of the seven versions of Maman (mama, in French), a bronze spider two meters high, a work by the artist Louise Bourgeois; walk a few steps and arrive at the Sculpture Garden, with landscaping by Burle Marx and see 25 pieces spread over 6 thousand m² of green area. Visiting him is a delight for the eyes, for culture, for art, and for everything that is most passionate about our daydreams.

(Translated by Google) I didn't find anything big. Two exhibition rooms only and I must have been unlucky, because I didn't like the exhibitions when I went. I love art, but they could explore the place better. The convenience is to be inside Ibirapuera. Another: expensive tickets for the little you delivered. (Original) Não achei nada de mais. It's a nice museum. But when we wanted to take a coffee after, we could not be seated by the windows. The restaurant staff explained it was only for lunch guests, even when many good table was free. We had to drink our coffees in a dark corner near the door.

Nice small museum, well kept. One big main hall with expositions that vary (for our visit it was not actual modern art) and a smaller more modern gallery. Regular price is 7brl and can be toured in 20min.

I went to the museum. It turned out because of a change of exhibit. This is not on the internet side to find. BAD MUSEUM POLICY. I would expect a show of there standing collection at least. The restaurant was full with their lazy staff who is self directed and not public directed.

Two rooms of McArt. I don't get it. There's nothing here. You know you're in trouble when the gift shop is the shining star of your museum experience, and even that was mediocre. If I had mi hijo with me, he would've been so mad, and then he would've gotten fidgety, which always leads to real trouble.

It could be better used in my view ... On the day I went it was unbearable heat, I invented to buy water in the restaurant instead of buying in the park, I paid 7 reais in a 330ml bottle. Me decepcionei com a produção do MAM. Melhorem e tratem o público com mais respeito.
