Open and peaceful. Note to dog owners! Clean up after your dog, it's a nature reserve not a dog toilet.

This is a nice beach, somewhere to go with the dog, there's not many people about, but it's been neglected and there's moss everywhere.

Such a wonderful morning walk. The beach is clean. Free parking. Lovely to walk along the prom to kick the sand off little paws too! Such friendly walkers, runners, cyclists .. Great start to the day

This area allows access to the beach and the area from which far away you can see the sea. It's quite interesting with the sand and the sweet water small streams nearby.

It is a shame about the grass growing on the beach. But if you walk a bit further out to sea it’s much cleaner with some great views. The promenade is wide with plenty of bench’s. A nice place to walk the dogs or ride your bike.

Long since silted up, but, it's a gap, William of Orange's gap, apparently, where he and 10,000 of my ancestors set out to cross the Irish Sea to do battle with King James and slaughter lots of Irish people,... Lovely. It's now the site of a political battle between the Conservative party and environmentalists regarding the imminent development of an embryonic dune system on the foreshore.

It's a beach! It looks more like a Marsh. It's completely ruining tourism in this area!

Lovely beach with free parking. Nice long walk to water front when tide is out. Not to forget the magnificent views and sunsets.

Beautiful wide open space, walk my dogs here regularly, never any litter , never any worries or concerns, always a peaceful relaxing experience

Not a lot to see here. The sand is fast disappearing, and the dunes are in the early stages of formation.

Sad to see a once beautiful beach ruined by a Councillor with less brains than a shoe, liz grey destroyed this beach

Pleasant open beach area for walking (with or without dogs or children). Not much in the way of facilities, but that adds to the charm in my view and the nearby town of Hoylake has plenty to offer a short walk inland.

Lovely beach . Miles of sand for children to play or dogs that behave to run or chase ball. Usually parking is easy. Forget West Kirby because you can't park and it's very crowded if you can get near the front.

Fresh air and great vast open spaces, whats not to like

Lovely place to walk and cycle unfortunately the paths need resurfacing and the beach needs attention. Rewilding seems to be an excuse to neglect all surroundings.
