Off the standard tourist-y path, but well worth the trip. Moll's Gap is just down the road too. This is a family owned and run business, and they care about the history of the area. You can do nearly all your gift shipping here as well. They have a huge variety to choose from, including woolen wears, jewelry, and pottery. Enjoy a pot of tea and scones while you're here too. On a clear day it's worth the time to hike up the path behind the cottage. Watch the video before you go so you know the significance of the Druids that once lived in this area and the history of Molly. If you're interested in ancient structures and enjoy walking, ask and they can point you to several places worth seeing. And the best part is, they aren't crowded.

Lovely lovely place with gorgeous fresh baked scone and a nice cup of tea. We'll worth the visit. The farm tour is payable by a donation. And yuo can even feed the lambs

Visited with my family while vacationing in Kenmare. The self-guided tour was great, starts off with a movie. My 4 year old niece was able to feed the chickens & lambs. The hike up the hill was not difficult and the view is spectacular. Highly recommend stopping at Molly Gallivans!!

It’s a one-of-a-kind off-the-beaten-path experience but well worth the visit because the family who owns it is warm, values culture and history, and is very entertaining!! There’s also a souvenir shop where you can buy nice items to remember your trip! This was our Be My Guest Experience during our Trafalgar tour and we all had a great time, more so after that freshly made whisky-tasting that hit me, being a non-alcoholic lady. 😉🤭

Extremely friendly owners. The site is in a truly gorgeous locationwith an interesting cultural walk with an audio guide and access to the druids loop walk and other looped walks. They made great coffee as well. There were lovely wool sweaters and jewelry there too

Very nice to see Irelands past over here embedded in a beautiful landscape. Kids loved goats the most because they could feed them by bottle. My favorite was the big fat pig :-p . You can learn something how families lived during time of great famine. Also you can start a track over there. Price is for free but you can decide if and when, how much you would like to donate. Café at Molly Gallivans Visitor Centre is very cosy and food and drinks are nice for a reasonable price as well. Shop is well equipped with very nice Irish things to buy. Only can recommend Molly Gallivans.

Lovely little farm and a great starting point to the Ring of Beara. The people here are very friendly and the entry is a donation of your choice. There's a souvenir shop with lots of trinkets and locally made clothing as well.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome and showed us the traditional making of butter and a worksop of soda bread making. They shared their personal stories and we felt unbelievably welcome. A bit of poitin tasting, feeding the lambs... There is also a very nice loop walk starting from this point. It was a very nice visit! It is a private initiative that does not get funding of the gouvernement, so please give them a bit of love. They have done a great job. On the down side: The souvenirs and woolen clothes are quite expensive. We We didn't stay for tea and scones so can't review those. Off course, this is depending on tourists, but it has a real, authentic feel to it and the energy and wamth the owners give is brilliant. Highly recommend.
