Just back from 6 nights camping in this excellent family-friendly caravan park. We have 3 boys (19, 7 & 3) and everyone agreed that this place was brilliant, with loads of activities and adventures to be had just a short drive away (surfing, aqua park, crazy golf, whale watching, a fun corn maze- to mention just a few). Sextons itself is a lovely small sized park with a lovely little playground and a place for kids to play football. Facilities were super clean and nice and the whole place felt lovely. Free hot showers were an added bonus! We simply loved this place! Thanks Elaine and co. for a great week!

We were so lucky with this campsite and with Elaine who give us a space for the last minute. Nice and peaceful place .There is a lot of lovely things to see in a short distance from this campsite. 100% recommend!

Great campsite close to Clonakilty and amenities but also in the countryside. Lots of lovely beaches close by too. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly - no need to pay for showers either. Laundry facilities as well as the usual kitchen for campers and washing up area. Well kept lovely site.

The campsite was lovely and had a positive atmosphere. The toilets were clean, as well as the showers. The owners also did their best to make us feel welcome and even provided us with some recommendations about the festivities in the nearby town.

Just back from 5 nights in Sextons Caravan and Camping. It was absolutely beautiful. Elaine is amazing so lovely and accommodating. Everything is spotless and an absolute credit to Elaine and her family. My son lived in the playground and made lots of lovely friend. 100% would go back we didn’t want to leave this morning.

Very nice, well maintained, very clean and family friendly campsite. Good location to start exploring Cork and surroundings. A good few beaches are just a few minutes drive away. Elaine the owner is very helpful and gives you good tips for visiting the area. We will be back again!

Excellent homely site. Pretty sitting area for if it rains! Toilets/facilities spotlessly clean. Really friendly and helpful staff. About a dozen good hard-standing pitches with views over rolling countryside. Plus a large field with more pitches and some shepherd huts. Food van on site did great fresh fish and chips! We cycled to Inchydoney beach and Clonakilty on mostly quiet lanes. Had such a lovely time here (2 nights)

Stayed here last summer with the family, planned our stay for three nights but ended up staying for the week as the kids absolutely loved it, the camp site, the shop, the ice cream van, the playground were things my kids spoke about for a long time after. Big thanks to Elaine and her team for a wonderful time. Park was spotless too.

A traditional camper and caravan park that’s great for families. I traveled alone and they were really helpful and friendly. It had been around for about 50 years and has an old time vibe which I adored.

Our main complaint is the quality of the electricity connection - it is constantly tripping and the facilities are old fashioned and installed in an old cottage. You are not charged for the shower but sometimes you only have a trickle. It’s ok for a couple of days but not for a long stay! Hi Elaine, I just wanted to acknowledge your feedback to us and yes we really appreciated that you could book us in at the last moment during the busy august bank holiday week-end! However I won’t modify rating as I still feel that your electricity network needs updating… Enjoy the remainder of the holiday season! Best regards, Marie-Odile
