One night stay here recently. Totally last minute and nothing was a problem. Fabulous choices on the menu in the bar with very generous portions and good value all round. Even got a surprise plate of biscuits with my after-dinner coffee. It’s the little things! Room was spotless and so well heated on a frosty night. Great buzz in the bar from few locals at counter. Staff were on the ball with Jerry and Jo so attentive and welcoming. A home from home for sure. We’ll make it off again, when we’re up from Kerry.

Had a meal in the bar around 8pm recently - chicken with a white sauce & mushrooms. Creamiest mash I have ever tasted - delicious! Nice bar, locals in watching a rugby match on big screen but it wasn't so loud as to hamper a conversation. Lovely food, mid-price range, friendly staff & plenty of parking at the back. Will definitely going again.

we stayed in the Brandywell overnight to attend a wedding in Lough Rynn castle, from the minute we walked in we were made to feel so welcome and couldn’t have asked for better service and hospitality. The entire place is spotless clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely top tier. I would strongly recommend this place. Jo in particular was very kind to us and made sure we had everything we needed, even ensuring that we had a lift to the venue!

The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and very helpful and great fun. We really enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day to another amazing meal

We chose this place because it came highly recommended and was close to the grave yard we were going to that day. It was very impressive. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The portions were very generous, and the presentation of the food was amazing. Everyone had a great day. We had a whole room to ourselves as we were a large party, and it meant that the kids were able to run around without disturbing anyone.

Warmest welcome I have ever received at a guest house, a delightful experience which is now my benchmark. We arrived wet and cold from the short walk in the blowing rain from the train station. Although the pub was crowded with fans watching a close semifinal match, we were immediately helped with our luggage, escorted to our rooms, and assured of a nice table for dinner. Dinner was delicious, and the staff kind enough to explain the status of the match and help us feel included rather than intrusive. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

Gerry runs a great establishment. Beautiful pub and food. Does a good pint of 'the black stuff' too! PS. The management and staff are very welcoming too. Thanks Jo & Ciara!

Just went for bar food. Very friendly staff. The food was very nice.
