This was a definite highlight of my trip to Ireland. Martin was a joy to listen to. Very much the Irish storyteller and his sense of humor was delightful. His dog, Joe, stole the show while herding the sheep. It really was a much needed and welcome reprieve from the sobering history of this wonderful country.

Drove 2hrs from Derry to attend & it’s was worth every mile! A-MAZ-ING display little Moe the sheepdog blew our minds & Martin was just a great entertainer, a really welcoming & knowledgeable guy. He made my wife’s dream of having lamb cuddles come true πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ™ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Today we had a great time at martin’s and trish’s farm. Martin is a great speaker and explains the local history within the actual situation of the sheep farmers. We were absolutely impressed by martin’s work with the sheepdogs. 100% recommended

What a wonderful experience! Martin and Moe have the most beautiful connection - she is such a clever girl. We loved the demonstration and enjoyed hearing about the history of using dogs to herd sheep. Martin’s enthusiasm and passion for his work absolutely shone through - loved every minute, thankyou 😊

9 day tour around Ireland, seeing many awesome sights and places. This is by far and away the kids most favorite thing we did. Martins was an excellent host and entertaining. Mo is the hardest playing dog I've ever seen. Both of them held out attention with their demonstration. Learning about the different breeds of sheep was great.. just an awesome experience.

We were on a coach tour of Ireland and due to unforeseen circumstances we Conakry our booking at an alternative venue. Atlantic Sheepdogs made a spot for us on a Sunday which we were very grateful of. This was a fantastic display of the skill and the herding instincts of Border-collies, along with World renowned sheepdog handler Martin Feeney’s rapport with his dogs. Martin was extremely friendly and informative all whilst standing in the poring rain as we sat in a purpose built Perspex shelter. I can not recommend this experience highly enough and I have no doubt at all that you will come away from this with a smile on your face and a new respect for these amazing dogs, along with a feeling you were the most important person there Sincerely, Graham

Martin and Mo did a wonderful demonstration of sheepdog herding. This champion pair were all stars. Martin was so knowledgeable, answering every question from our group. It was a highlight of our tour.

Attended with our CIE tour group. We thoroughly enjoyed this with a lot of questions answered about herding and why. Also some info on world competitions! Martin gave us a fantastic demonstration with Moe. The impact of border collie and the training that Martin does is amazing. Highly recommended!

I have just had the most wonderful time here. The talk lasts for just over an hour and is so interesting and informative. Martin Feeney is the man giving the talk which is full fun and really entertaining and he tells you all about the farm the history and geography of the area and then the sheep and dogs themselves. He interacts well with the audience and is more than happy to answer any questions. I went with my family and we all had an amazing time. It was only €15 per person so it was amazing value too. You pay at the end of the talk. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming too. It’s a great place to go to if you’re in the Sligo area.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸ

It was a very informative experience and the way the dog(s) steers the sheeps around is quite impressive. The dog we sae in action, Moe/Mol (not sure) is wholesome and seems so nice. The whole story he tells around the way this works is also very interesting. I would definitely recommend it!!

Our driver for our tour brought us to Atlantic sheepdogs. I could not have asked for a better experience or a better demonstration of the reliance of humans and dogs for herding sheep in Ireland. The credit given to the dog was amazing. The explanation of the calls in the response of the dog to the calls was very thorough. Completely enjoyed myself would come back again in a heartbeat

What an interesting way to learn about rural farming Ireland in a lovely fun setting. We had a group between the ages of 5 -76years, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It's amazing what these dogs and owners can do

Great demo. Was part of our Ireland Coach tour by CIE, but a great addition. Churches and city walks are nice, but was good to visit a real farm and hear from a real farmer. Would definitely recommend for all ages. Was maybe about an hour long.

This visit was a true highlight of our trip. It's amazing to see the dogs work. But as wonderful was the history and context Martin provided about this corner of Ireland. Definitely worth a visit in you're these parts!

A truly great moment! Very informative and fun, also accessible to non-native English speakers as Martin speaks quite slowly and is easy to understand. Not to miss if you’re in the area!
