Amazing stuff! I did the five day course and it was absolutely worth it! You see even on the first day why it’s a bit pricier between the genuinely well thought out teaching plan and the insane amount of coffee and milk you go through! Mike was a really great and encouraging teacher all week and had so much experience that I knew I was in safe hands! I would highly, highly recommend for anyone interested in doing a barista course to just go for it, even if it’s one of the shorter courses, especially because it’s such a well known course that it’ll be easy to get into a job with it! PS you get free coffee from the cafe all week so you could make your money back there alone!

I have attended their 'How to Start a Coffee Shop' course as well as their 5-day barista course and I can't say enough about how helpful and encouraging they have been to us along every step of our journey to building our own successful business. I feel I have been given all of the tools I need going forward and one important point to mention is how 'hands-on' the training was which gave me so much confidence going forward. Thank you guys, both courses were worth every penny!

Loved the course! It was informative, fun, interactive. Luca the trainer I had was so brilliant, really knew his stuff and there was not a question he could not answer regarding the world of coffee! He had a great sense of humour too and most of all great patience!!! I was sad when the end of the week came...wanted more! Plus a big thanks to all the staff in the office and in the coffee shop they were all lovely and friendly and helpful making the whole experience even better...well done guys..must be great to work there permanently if my short experience is anything to go by!!

I decided to do a barista essential workshop to learn more about coffee in general and it was such a great experience! It was very hands-on, which I liked, and the trainer provided a lot of encouragements and feedback to improve my latte art skills. I'll definitely plan to do more workshops with them in the future.

Incredible course; brilliant tutors, great learning environment. Everything you could hope to learn in 4 days, and a thorough exam with material to refresh on after you qualify. Worth every penny if you want to get a practical qualification for service industry. Cant recommend it enough!

Had the pleasure of doing the 4 day licence to work program with Lucas and it exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and the passion the guys have for the industry is amazing. I would highly recommend anyone looking to further their interest or career in the coffee industry to take this course! Thank you for all of the skills and knowledge you guys provide :)

I am a barista in the states only in Dublin for a couple days. The guys were so kind and generous and offered me a crash course on latte art when I told them it was my weak spot and am leaving Dublin tomorrow. Not only is their skill, craft and knowledge and at an exceptional level, but the latte was delicious. Really exciting to see an educational place for coffee fanatics. I will definitely be back next time I am in Ireland and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fabulous cup of coffee or are interested in starting up or honing their craft. Thank you so much guys! You really made my day. :)

We attended the 1 day Barista Essentials course. It was great, I would highly recommend it. We learned a lot about the Barista profession, the different type of coffees and milk aeration techniques, including practicing sessions. Our teacher Nelli was really enthusiastic, engaged o the profession and explained + presented the topics in a very interesting and entertaining way. He could keep our attention very well. :) I enjoyed the course and looking forward to attend to the 4 days training as well. Thank you again.

I wouldn't be one to leave a review generally but I thought I would for the 1-day course I did at the Dublin Barista School. The day was terrific, from the beginning to the end and considering we were there for almost 7 hours, my interest and enjoyment never waned. Our tutor was Mike and he was a gentleman - he was always patient and always complimented our latte art even when it was terrible! He clearly loves his job and is very passionate about coffee. I would highly recommend this course.

Hello all, I’m not a person that normally comments or leaves reviews, in this case so positive was my experience, I feel compelled to do so. I just completed the 4 day license to work Barista course, my appreciation of coffee, which I love, has just been expanded! I need to speak about what made it amazing, that is all the staff and the trainers. There first to days of the course we were trained by Ritchie and the second two days we had Tomaz at the helm. Honestly, you could not have met two nicer, more genuine people with an immense passion for doing what they love. Their passion simply radiated from them, their knowledge and expertise was evident immediately. We were pulling our own lattes to a very high standard after the first day! I must say, there will be a void tomorrow morning when I get up knowing that the class is finished. Folks if you are considering doing a Barista course, give these guys a call. Before you do that, they have a fully operating coffee shop that also serves epic cakes and treats, go there, sample the coffee and treats, you will not need to look elsewhere. You will sign up for the coarse simply because you will be amongst passionate people serving you a cup of heaven! Keep up all the fantastic work guys! Best of luck Fran

Took the five day barista course here, heard it was good from friends who had done it. I had worked in coffee before and figured it wouldn't do much for me, basically wanted something for my CV. Anyhow, it was a small class, there were a total of five students. After the first day, I was blown away by the info and depth of experience that was behind the training. Every day brought new info and challenging practical exercises, it was really just surprising to me, I thought I knew it all. Worth the cost, changed my whole view of coffee. Cannot recommend highly enough, for anyone looking to invest in themselves.

I took the licence to work level 1 & 2 course, very informative and practical course. I was also intrigued with learning about grinder calibration and workflow systems, The coffee is also of excellent quality and seasonal. Most delicious coffee!! Highly recommended course.

Well worth the money. I did a full day course to gain more confidence as someone with minimal barista experience. I got a great sense of achievement throughout the day, and our instructor was very helpful in guiding us and sharing the best techniques.

I arranged for my 6th form students at GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail, Dubai to undertake the Barista Training with DBS and they had such a great experience with Sanju, Raf and the team - that several of the teachers and I decided to sign up for the 1 day training. Sanju is a fantastic teacher, incredibly knowledgeable and very passionate about coffee and everything coffee related. He was able to explain the science behind the preparation of coffee in an entertaining way and kept us on our toes by checking we were understanding the content, during the day. We made our first espressos under his watchful eye, whilst he checked our technique and process and we progressed onto Latte art and milk based coffees. It was a really enjoyable and well organised day and Sanju is great at explaining the process to all ages, ensuring that everyone is included and taking part. Thanks for a great day.

If you are looking to do a Barista course, I would highly recommend Dublin Barista Training School. I took four of my Deaf participants from the Deaf Village Ireland (who are all Irish sign language users) to take part in a one-day Barista course. Tomasz was our trainer on the day, He was amazing with the participants and showed a great interest in learning Irish Sign Language (ISL). Tomasz made the course very enjoyable, and he delivered the course in an enthusiastic way. The participants had a lot of opportunities to ask questions and talk about real-life examples which all made the course very interesting. The course is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in developing - both personal and professional skills. The participants will take away lots of things that they can quickly and easily apply to their Barista skills. They were all excited about getting back to work and trying some of their new skills out. This course has more than met my expectations. A wonderfully practical course - both personally and professionally. I will be recommending Dublin Barista School to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you to Tomasz and the team at Dublin Barista School for all their support in making this course a day to remember 😊 Martina Deaf Village Ireland

I completed the Licence To Work 4-day program with Luca and Tomasz. Both trainers were excellent and they covered a lot of material across the 4 days without making it feel like too much. They were very supportive when we practised our coffee-making and they gave use plenty of time each day to practise and improve the techniques they taught us. Once the course was over, I had a greater appreciation for how coffee is made and I had a better understanding of how to notice a good coffee/ cafe. Overall, the experience was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be a barista.

The day spent with Luca was really worthwhile - I've been using a coffee machine for the last couple of years but never managed to get everything right. Now I can! I learned so much on the day - and Luca made sure we were able to manage the coffee and the milk techniques before he let us go.

I've done four day License to Work course and I'm more than happy I've attended this classes. With only one day I've learned more than on two other courses all together. People are lovely, very polite and helpful. They know what they're doing. If anyone looking for knowledge and practice there's no better place to go.

I have completed a 4 Day Licence to Work programme. The course was amazing, I enjoyed every moment of the time and totally fell in love with the coffee. Trainers Mike and Tomasz are wonderful teachers and you can really see how passionate they are about coffee. The atmosphere during the classes was great. I am glad that, apart from practice, I could learn about the history of coffee and how it is processed. We had plenty of time to practice and improve our espresso and milk preparing skills which was perfect. I can truly and honestly recommend the course to anyone who would like to know more about coffee and learn how to make it in the best possible way.

I did the one day Licence to Work course where I had no experience with making coffee only drinking it. It was really informative, hands on and very fun. The atmosphere was really nice and the class was a good size. The trainer Jonathon was very nice, talked us through everything really well and overall made the day really enjoyable which I say I came out confident in what I learnt. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to gain some experience and feel confident enough to apply for barista work.

Thoroughly enjoyed the one-day Barista training course! The limited number of students per class meant we all got to familiarise ourselves with the equipment and got to do lots of practical training. Our tutor was highly experienced and so encouraging, a huge relief to an absolute beginner like me. If I had the opportunity, I would love to go back and do the four day course because I enjoyed it so much and go so much out of it. I would recommend this class to anybody without hesitation!

This was a wonderful setup - I got the one day course as a gift and it was absolutely excellent. Luca was an excellent tutor and I was amazed how much hands-on experience we got in such a short period of time. No need for experience but Luca was very welcome to address any specific queries we had. I had to reschedule the course twice due to COVID at short notice and they could not have been more accommodating.

Brilliant one day course as an introduction to being a Barista, given by Jonathan and Amelia. Really enjoyed the day and the pace and hands on practicals were perfect. Jonathan and Amelia make a great team and enjoyed the banter. And the Tunes were an added bonus not to mention the Hot Chocolate "on tap" and even more extra bonus.

I did a beginner's barista course with Mike and it was a brilliant day! It was very informative and most importantly a lot of fun. We spent most of our time on the machine, making espresso shots and latte art. The day flew by and I would highly recommend it if you are a coffee lover and want to learn a bit more about how to make a nice cup!

I recently did the Barista Essentials course because I was gifted a voucher from a family member. I understand that many people do this for career opportunities but I just did it for fun, as something different to do - and I’m so glad! It was such a fun and interesting day. The class was taught by the wonderful Luca. He was such a joy to spend the day with - so funny, friendly & knowledgeable! I went in expecting to learn from someone who’s passionate about coffee, but Luca was also so passionate about the role of being a barista in general. He really helped me understand the importance of customer service in the industry, which he excellently demonstrated himself! The whole day was a great experience & I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest interest in coffee.

Did both the 1 day course and the 5 day course and I had an amazing time! This is the perfect place to start if you are hoping to become a barista. The 5 day course itself was very practical and hands on, but also packed with valuable information about coffee and covered all of the aspects of being a barista. High quality in-depth training, delivered by our incredible instructor Luca ft his amazing PowerPoint animations! I learned a lot in the space of 4 days, covering everything from making basic espresso shots to customer service. I felt prepared for the work experience day, where I could use the skills I’d acquired in a real life scenario. Everyone was really friendly. I had so much fun doing the course, and my favourite part was making and perfecting my latte art! Perfect courses for beginners. I went from being extremely coffee naive to having a deep appreciation for everything that goes into a cup of coffee! I now feel confident pursuing a career as a barista.

I came here expecting a good coffee after reading about it online. I don’t know if the students were making the coffee or not but I was initially undercharged and when I let the worker know they were really awkward about it. The coffee itself was a flop. Had a soy flat white. The soy milk was overly frothed and had curdled and tasted burnt. The coffee only had one shot and accompanied the burnt milk well. If you enjoy coffee don’t come here
