Nice place for fishing, kayaking & boating. There's children's play area just near to the car park. We had been there just 15+ mins and saw one man got 10+ nice medium size roach fishes!!! Definitely should be here if you like fishing

Beautiful scenery and nice weather. Didn't catch any fish though.

A decievingly big lake with some picturesque photo opportunities. I was a frequent user of the lake going windsurfing despite the lake surrounded by hills there was some great wind to surf. Some decent facilities with a walk and a kids playground. I think it could be developed alot more for water sports and maybe a small Dock. Years back there was a suspicion of water quality not being great judging from the algae. Don't know if that has improved and I certainly never felt any ill effects considering I spend more time in the water then on top of my board.

I stayed in the lodge and it was brilliant. Be prepared for lots of big spiders and hundreds of nasty midges. But that's nature.
