A wonderful beach, the main path it's easy for walk but the stair for access to the beach isn't the best so be careful. There is a lot of garbage on the stair (paper coffee cup), please bring a bag.

A nice beautiful beach! A bit of a trek to go down because it's steep. But worth visiting, I travelled to howth via the H3 bus and if you get down in the last stop of H3, this place is just 15 mins away. The route is slippery when it rains but manageable with good pair of shoes.

Simply Amazing, especially at low tide. During the weekdays place might completely empty , Great spot to Relax. However warm weeksnds can be very busy.

Beautiful Tiny Hidden gem on the Howth Cliff Walk. Be careful on the descent/ascent. It can be a little steep in some places and in the more shaded areas of the path down it is muddy. Worth the slightly scary trip down!

Beautiful place, long hiking routes and other small beaches you can access along the path, but you need to get down the hill. Some of them beaches are harder to access but worth once u get down.

Amazing hidden beach, you have to find a little lane on the left side of the lighthouse, the view when you going down is spectacular, beach is never overcrowded, mostly tourists, beautiful spot worth a visit. Very tough to go back up, you have to got some min fitness level.

If it's good weather I HIGHLY recommend to go to the beach. Swimming is difficult and there are no life guards because it's not a public beach. The way down there was horrific. Little to no security. Would not recommend if you have problems with walking. But the view was totally worth it. But the way up was even worse. Nothing I wouldn't do again but be prepared to so some climbing

If you're looking for some hidden gem I'm Ireland I believe this is one of them. Peace full and adventurous stairs were wet so my advice is to wear good grip shoes before you go here rest I loved it. Clean water and sea soars make you alive. I would recommend everyone stop ✋ littering near the sea 🌊 it will take our sea life and enjoy the beauty of nature. You will definitely love this place.

A fine spot to avoid gusty ocean breeze and enjoy the sun. A little further you can find a way to get down to the beach. Coming up would be a double challenge so go prepared.

Lovely isolated beach. Plenty of stones so bring old runners if getting into the water I would suggest. Very steep going down to it but no problem for people who have walked before.

What a lovely quiet spot! The walk downwards is a bit tricky but everything after that is worth it! A treat to the eyes!!!

Very much enjoyed swimming here. Not very busy suite to the difficulty reaching it. We wouldn't work out too regularly and it was a good and enjoyablev walk for is from the train station. The beach is all pebbles do I would recommend flip flops for getting in and out of the water if you're going to make a day of it. View of boats - and we saw two seals.

Lovely hidden spot. Perfect to relax by the water or to have some fun jumping on the rocks. The way down there requires a good level of fitness and knowing how to walk downhill. It's really steep and slippery with lots of dirt and small stones. Saw plenty of people giving out on reaching the beach. You can try to go all the way up in a sprint but you'll be fatigued once you reach back the trail. So take a pause and don't rush :)

Despite the dangerous in the “stairs”, it’s a wonderful place, but be aware and cautious

Beautiful place, bit steep but stairs all the way down there... Safe with kids too, just need a bit extra careful on rainy day

A beautiful and tiny beach, can be reached via howth cliff walk, the path is steep and slippery at some points but can be done by beginners, make sure to wear sports shoes on the hike.

Small clean and quiet beach hidden below the cliff. It is slightly to the left side of Baily lighthouse. A steep climb downstairs, there are a few steps to aid the climb. Not for people with acrophobia.

A must visit place. Great place to swim - Not recommended for kids under 8-years due to steep and curvy stairs.
