Awe-inspiring
sites
await
you
at
the
top.
This
is
a
spectacular
hike
that
provides
everything
Ireland
has
to
offer
in
terms
of
mystical
views.
The
lough
is
gorgeous,
but
you
can
also
see
as
far
out
as
the
ocean,
and
plenty
of
Ireland’s
“patch
work
quilt”
geography.
This
is
NOT
an
easy
hike.
I
would
categorize
this
as
hard.
And
there
are
areas
on
the
ascent
which
are
daunting
and
quite
dangerous.
Like
other
Irish
hikes,
the
trails
are
a
bit
scattered,
and
when
scrambling
up
rocky,
muddy
heights,
it
can
be
nerve-wrecking.
But
the
scenes
at
the
top
make
it
well
worth
it.
It
flattens
out
at
the
top
and
serves
as
a
great
location
to
pause
for
a
snack
and
a
look
around.
This
is
about
a
4
hour
hike
up
and
around
from
the
car
park.
The
left
side
is
more
difficult
than
the
right
side.
