We are absolutely disgusted at the rudeness of the staff in this shop. We pointed out the hob we wanted to a staff member who told us it was a sturdy solid hob. He told my partner he had sold two of the same hobs earlier that day. He told us to wait while they retrieved the hob from the back. We then waited 15 minutes and no one came with the hob. We then went and asked where was the hob and the rude staff lady at the checkout told us we had to pay beforehand and then they would get it, we were not told this we were told to wait. The shop was empty and it was clear we were waiting. The staff just stare at you while they literally have nothing to do. We finally got it and we go home and our electrician wires it up and the entire unit is scalding hot, I burn my hand on the outer rim which is not near the rings. We obviously think it must be faulty and return to the shop a few hours later and a another lady behind the counter was directly rude and aggressive and barked at me to hand her the receipt. She acted like we were doing something wrong. We said we wanted to exchange it for a more expensive hob, she said no. She tells us that it is normal that the entire unit is meant to be scalding hot. I told her that the staff member did not tell us that, she didn't care and insisted that head office would not exchange it. Why would you sell a dangerous hob like that is beyond me. She took pleasure in her power trip for power city. We were not informed about what further action could be taken. We go home again and we call our electrician to wire it back in just to double check, this time it's both scalding hot and it smoke starts billowing out. So again he disconnects it and says it dangerous. I ring customer complaints and the guy on the phone is like a trained programmed robot. I explain the situation and when I ask him has he any opinion, his automated response is we will send out a nordmende electrician, he repeats this many times. His only sign of humanity is when he aggressively stands up for the colleague who was horrible to us, even though they are not working in the same place and he was not there. It seems when big business tells you to sell yourself for them, many people are more than willing. We will never set foot in that shop again.

Terrible service. No phone number to get through , if they call and you miss you need to email again. Delivery service is atrocious a real computer says no attitude. Ended up going to a local place in baldolye and the customer service was amazing compared to power city. Never again

Complete stuff for electronic home like kitchen stuff, Tv nd others stuff electonic.

First of all the guy on the till had the attuide of a (sorry can't say here). We paid for a small item which cost €130.00 and waited for it to be brought from the store room. After 15 minutes waiting we asked for a refund and left as other people who paid for goods after us were getting there goods before us. Went to a competitor shop and was in and out of the store with same item in less than 5 minutes. Please don't say anything about staff shortages on the day as there was 2 groups of sales people chatting away to themselves and avoiding eye contact with customers. Power City management need to kop on and take note.

Never to busy, but don't let that be a negative. Plenty of staff always happy to help. Have bought 3/4 tvs here in the last few years as well as other stuff and I find them the best around me. Obviously there are other options a hike away but there are also some cost by, but I'd always go here. Good deals plenty of parking and good staff.

Went into coolock today and actually stood for 10 minutes at the hoover section waiting for a sales staff member to help me, 3 sales staff stood in the tv section talking, I made eye contact with one but unfortunately to no avail, another lady was there too any she ended up going over to them so I asked a girl that was one of the three talking but she actually told me that I would have to wait for a sales assistant to come to me!!!!! The chap that was talking to the lady ended up asking the girl what I wanted at this point I'm 6 feet away from him so I decided just to buy the hoover anyway even without any input from the shop. Got my recipt and paid for the product and then had to wait another 8 minutes for the product to be bought out to me . I know at a busy time this might be normal but there wasn't that many people in the shop. On a plus note the hoover I got I'm very happy with.

If anybody is looking for some vast variety of electronics in Dublin. This is the place to be Curry's is so over rated and we couldn't find anything over there.

Terrible delivery service, nobody calls, we don't have a working doorbell so I missed my delivery and you cannot get through to a human with an issue. Won't use again

The lads have been talking care of me for years. We’ve both multiple televisions, clothes washing machines, dryers etc. I’ve always been treated well and when we needed an under counter fridge there was only one place. When we redecorated the kitchen we went up and got sorted . The delivery was quick and polite. I couldn’t recommend enough

Shocked at way we were treated this morning .washing machine arrived broken this morning when try get contact. no phone contact numbers on receipt so we got our son to send email from his job .and staff so rude when my husband went back down in rain shop .we have wait for refun d when they decide collect machine back of us ..no apology just either do want new 1 or refund .but won't getting new today they said .why should we have wait was there fault machine broken we need money back to get new 1 eles were .definitely worth back power city

Power city coolock has come up in leaps and bounds from the last two years I was there I was there on.sunday to get my mother a new phone the duty manager on that afternoon was lazy and customer service was 0 the security and a till member done all.the sales this manger needs a refresher course on customer service

Great service, excellent value for money and wonderful 'Special deals of the day'! Went in to buy new dishwasher, old one gave up the ghost and got €35.00 off listed price due to Special offer! Price also included free delivery and removal of old machine. Now that's what I call value for money and Dermot, who served us, took the measurements we brought and measured the new machine thoroughly to ensure it would fit. Great customer service! I never go anywhere else unless the item I want is unavailable. I love this place.

I was returning a dvd player as I didn't purchase the correct one. I queued at the cash desk who then directed me to the help desk to organise refund who then directed me back to cash desk to queue again to process refund!!. Bit of a nuisance for customers when previously cash desk could deal with this. Dont understand at all. Staff were very nice.

One of the best shops for electrical goods. Picked up a Tv, 50€ cheaper than the next nearest store to me. Staff are very helpful and friendly which made it an easy transaction.

We bought a TV from power city online, had some problem with it. Went to the Coollock store, two ladies Sarah and Louise were extremely nice, patient and helpful. We then bought a bigger TV in exchange for the first one. Many thanks to Louise and Sarah again!

Unfortunately a very bad experience, the installers they sent made a mistake and left a leak behind the washer/dryer I was lucky to find it and got a plumber to fix it. Powercity took no responsibility even though the plumber clearly stated in the receipt that the leak was due to a faulty installation. Overall, non existent customer service. Will never buy appliances there again.

I dont go here anymore because they never answer the phone If you hsd a problem uou would have to drive back there.As a senior citizen thats just tiring and frustrating.

Bought a telly plugged it in when i got home cracked screen, called them the next day they replaced it no hassle at all. And showed me the replacement plugged in before i left the shop🤔😀😀

Its a strange new retail world we have entered - I usually enjoy wandering around this well-stocked premises. Our new situation means you have to know what you want, ask at the entrance-wide service desk, and the very pleasant and informed staff will match your query with product that may fit the bill. In other words NO browsing...and, on this occasion, no product Oh, I was surprised to discover also there is no installment payment system in Power City - competitors take note!

Excellent shopping experience. Went in, enquired about product I was looking for and was assisted by knowledgeable and courteous staff member. Whilst there was a reasonable queue at cash desk and only one staff member on the desk, a second staff member was assigned to cash desk and helped expedite the queue very quickly. All in all, an enjoyable shopping experience.

Power City were very helpful to me I bought a cooker hob washing machine and fridge which were fitted a few days later the men were so nice and again so helpful I can't thank you enough.

This is where professionalism goes to die! Wasn't until I reached the counter and they told me that they didn't have plastic bags or any kind of bags whatsoever so literally had to carry all the stuff I bought until lidl and go get a bag from there.
