Update 15/5/2022: the new playground they added is great. The kids loved the massive slide. They also added a great little kids playground too that my 2 Yr old really enjoyed it and was able to great around on it. Great that leahys continue to invest back into the place. Annual membership is definitely worth it. /end update Came here today for the first time for their Halloween Boo event. The event itself was very well done. They had great character actors going through a few different well decorated areas which included a hay tunnel. It was then onto the haunted forest ride. It was on a big trailer with seats which were comfortable. There was another character on it talking about all the things you past the forest. The kids really enjoyed it. There was also loads of other things there at the farm. The weather was terrible the day we went. Very windy and lashing rain for the majority of the time. We still made the best of it though and did the things inside with seeing the animals and the indoor play area. They have a great restaurant setup too. Lots of options. I got the rib steak sandwich which was very tasty and hit the spot. The prices were quite reasonable and they didn't gouge on the price. Except for maybe the sausage rolls. We'll definitely be back and will look at getting an annual membership to bring our kids here more often

Had an absolutely great time with the kids (4 and 5) at Leahy's farm. Wasn't sure if we'd need the full four hours, but had to drag them out of the place after the 4 hours. They really enjoyed the crazy golf, the maze, the big slide, the barrel train, mini diggers, go karts and seeing all the animals. The leprechaun tunnel got quite a few goes too. The food was great too and not too expensive. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, large farm with lots of activities for all ages and well looked after animals. Love the excavation trucks for the kids and the maze. The restaurant is lovely and the staff is very friendly. Worth the drive for a sunny fun day out.

Fabulous place for a day out with kids... Very well managed, very kind staff. Lots of activities for kids. Kids also get to pet some farm animals which help them bring closer to nature. Very nice for birthday parties, just 15 minutes drive from Midleton town.

Super day out. Was first reluctant due to the cost but really worth every penny. You could really stay here the full day - so much to do. Great playgrounds, icecream delicious and the staff were great showing the kids the animals. If I were local we would buy the annual pass as value much better than a once off visit.

This is the most wonderful little gem of a place. There is something for all ages. It has a real family run business vibe and the staff are all very friendly. Tip: bring a bag with you because there are very few bins so if you buy a coffee you will have to carry the cup if you don’t have somewhere to put the empties.

Went to see Santa in the barn with my partner and 2 kids (9 & 2). Had a wonderful morning there. Lovely walk around to see the farm animals and little pets like mice, rabbits and guinea pigs. Kids loved seeing santa and Mrs clause and the elves workshop and all done under social distancing guidelines. We loved the decorations that the kids got to colour and keep and it'll be a lovely souvenir that we'll place on our tree The diggers were a huge hit , 3 mins for 2€ and there was a lovely little coffee hut beside It with teas, coffee , cookie etc & the prices were very reasonable & good selection of items. My daughter loved the maze , making her way around it and getting to ring the bell when she got to the centre of it. They have go karts that are free to use , which again the kids and adults loved. The indoor play area with an underground ramp kept the kids entertained for a while & in out of the rain. I personally loved the old style house and it showed the bedrooms , schools etc of year gone by. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I'd highly recommend a visit here for all age groups.

Visited with extended family. Found the facilities to be really good. The Ice cream was lovely from their Ice Cream factory. The 6yr old loved the big slides. The Electric Vehicle Charger was great to see and it's a pity not more places have these available. Only suggestion I have is please mark the spots in some way as when we returned to our car a non ev was parked beside us blocking the charger. Keep up the good week.

Nice little farm, not that much animals as advertised on website ,maybe due to season . Most of attractions were under renovation but still was charged full price 11,50 euro for any person entering child or adult , felt bit overpriced. Coffee served barely warm , bread very dry and stale served with soup . Possible that summer day it's nice there

We visited this farm when the weather wasn't great and a lot of the time we were by ourselves. Right now there is an outbreak of avian flu so all the birds were kept indoors, which is a pity because my 3 year old girl loves birds. However we still got to see a Peacock, hens and budgie's. There is so much to see and do here. There are 6 museums showing loads of vintage articles for example a vintage wedding dress in farmer Eddie's cottage and a vintage reentry visa to the US in nans nook museum. These museums however are probably more geared toward the adults rather than the children. For my daughter the highlight had to be the diggers and possibly the barrel train train which she went on by herself. She said it was awesome. The barrel train was free but the digger was €3 for 3 minutes. She thoroughly enjoyed it so I say money well spent. The other highlights for her was holding a mouse called whiskers and milking a pretend cow. There are tons of hand washing facilities around the place which is super handy. Leahy open farm make their own chocolate which tastes as good as nestle and also their own ice cream. The ice-cream & chocolate factory has its very own chocolate fountain which you can get poured over your ice-cream and it hardens. Delicious! The gift shop is incredible and I pickled up a few bits which will make lovely birthday/Christmas presents. The hot food is expensive. A chicken burger with chips and coleslaw costs €13. But the coffee served there while not great is good value. All in all a great day out day out for the family and we will be going back to check out the stuff we missed this time.

We had our boo experience yesterday. Our first time visiting with 3 young children. We had a wonderful experience. Very clean 🧽 everywhere. Plenty of staff. The strict timing with the diggers was little much I thought. Plenty do and see for hours of fun. We will be back.

Great experience, I would highly recommend it. Staff are lovely, the ice cream is delicious . I have a 2 and 4 year old and we had to drag them away from the place. Could not recommended enough! We will definitely be back.

We stopped off in Leahy's Open farm on our way back to Dublin. It's not much of a detour off the M8, and has lots of parking. GREAT PLACE to entertain the kids for a couple of hours! Admission is €11.50 per person, with 2 and under going free. I thought this was a little steep as I expected a smallish place, but it's not and there is a ton of stuff to do. The main building you enter through contains the giftshop, toilet, restaurant and an indoor type padded play area. This area is ideal for parties and one was in full swing when we arrived. Make sure you take note of the feeding times for the animals before you head out exploring, as you get to pet them! Just outside the entrance there is a playground and throughout the entire farm there are picnic benches. There is an Ice Cream factory, which I'm guessing can be booked for parties/groups. From here you can stroll around the farm, which really is jam packed with things to do. Outhouses full of old farm equipment and fire engines, indoor slides and play areas. There are several large outdoor playgrounds with lots of slides for the kids. At the top of the park there are working mini diggers where u can practice your excavation skills!?! There is a barrel train ride which is fun for the kids. The history of the farm is also detailed, and the original cottage is still intact and part of the tour. U could sink an hour or two into this place and still find something new. Recommend a visit!! Staff were all nice and friendly despite a guinea pig weeing on one of them mid presentation 😂

Spent a few memorable hours with our 4 year old. The digger experience, barrel ride, choppers and playground were fantastic, time flew. Best place for parents with active toddlers. The staff are brilliant and the coffee is good, too. Highly recommended.

Honestly one of the best Santa experience we have ever had. We have been several times at Leahys but first time to see Santa and didn't disappoint. The hole experience was funny and the right amount of time on each part, as my boys usually get bored with the too long Santa experiences. It was also perfect for my 8 and 11 years old boys, as it didn't look that 'cute' but more funny. Their favourite part was the enclosed area to play with 'snow' ☺️. My older loved the Santa's jokes. Well done to everyone involved

We're regular visitors to the farm and absolutely love it there. Our most recent visit was for Santa in the Barn with our 7 year old and 8 month old. The farm is very accessible with a pram and there is plenty for children of all ages to do. The staff are so friendly and are willing to help with anything you need. We've been to farms across the country and I have to say Leahy's is our favourite by a mile.

Fantastic place with lots of fun places to play, explore and family. Really recommend. We did the Santa experience last week and it was brilliant. Very happy children. Lovely places to get food or a cup of tea and of course the chocolate factory was great. Really enjoyed the trip.

Visited today and had a really enjoyable day. Due to the Avian flu we didn't see too many animals outside but with the numerous play areas we weren't short on things to do. The museums and vintage machinery meant that all ages from 4-75yrs had something to see. Having driven from Dublin the EV charger was very welcome. Our one suggestion here was to put a sign at the space to help prevent Non EVs parking there. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

Perfect place for a day outside or even inside as they have a small indoor playground too where you can have coffee and also a museum and play zone with a castle. Animal petting, diggers, zip lines, quad tour in the forest, ice cream bar, mini golf, parkour. The best children attraction around Cork in my opinion.

Beautiful place.. full day fun for kids.. you can watch farm animals very upclose. Also here they have preserved the past also e.g. Old trade and tools of carpentery, black smithy etc.. gives a peak into how the world was earlier.. There is a fun ride and an excavator which kids can enjoy..

Nice spot for kids to run about for a few hours. Nice playground for kids. Animals for kids to walk and enjoy. Have a beautiful gift shop with plenty to purchase. You could take a picnic or purchase food and beverages on location. They do beautiful homemade chocolates and other sort of goodies to enjoy as a treat.
