Dublin Falconry is an amazing experience I cannot recommend highly enough. We did the full experience and the 4.5 hrs spent with Trevor and his birds touched our hearts, spirits, imagination and connection. With Trevor you have a lifelong Dubliner with a passion for animals that is embodied in his experience. From the beautiful location, birds clearly attached to him, sweet dogs, and time and a touch of limerick with his stories, the time and dollars are most well spent. The awe of holding up your arm and an owl silently landing, turning with their beautiful gaze just inches from you, to walking the grounds and calling a hawk as it flies from trees, to ground, to us and beyond (sometimes acting like a misbehaving teenager), to the sound of a falcon diving past you to it's prey....this is a time that will touch your heart and soul. Trevor truly loves his animals. His decisions and care are evident in his actions and the birds behavior. Please just go to this amazing location and spend time getting to know Trevor and his birds. You will not regret it.

Wow, what a great afternoon! So glad the weather behaved as Trevor puts the birds well being first (they can get injured in strong wind and rain). But thankfully our session was not cancelled and we had an amazing relaxing time, getting to know his craft and his love for birds of prey. Our time went so quickly and we learnt so much about these beautiful creatures and getting to know Trevor, such an interesting profession. Worth every cent!! Hope we can visit again someday and do even more. Thanks Trevor, a real highlight and something we'll never forget.

I wish I could come up with words beyond "amazing" or "wonderful" to describe this experience. Feeling the power and intelligence of these incredible animals was only a part of the emotional impact of the time we spent with Trevor and the birds. You will take away knowledge about the birds and what they do, how they communicate, and behave. Better yet you will see a man whose love for these birds as a lifelong dubliner is evidenced by this labor of love, in which he grows his knowledge and that of those who participate in this experience. If you find yourself anywhere near this facility and have the opportunity to experience this, don't waver in your decision. You will NOT be disappointed!!

The world needs more people like Trevor and his Dublin Falconry. I cannot overstate the unique value you will get from this experience. Have you ever wanted to meet an Irish Steve Irwin who does birds instead of reptiles? Trevor is him. His relationship with the birds is special, it is clear he treats them with the utmost respect. His animals are incredible creatures, and he respects their wild nature. As he puts it, he “asks” them, he doesn’t “tell them”. He has incredible knowledge of their unique personalities and behaviors. He will gladly answer your questions in detail, and share any and all of his knowledge. He may also share about how humans and climate change are threatening both natural populations as well as his own birds. Hopefully you will leave this experience and reconsider your relationship with nature, and perhaps reconsider that poison bait block or spraying those chemicals to control insects and weeds. If you consider yourself a naturalist, this is the experience for you. And if you just want to play with some cool killer birds, this is also the experience for you. And if you don’t want to go at all, re-consider and be surprised.

I went to the falconry last week with a photography group. It was a brilliant experience. We were entertained by Trevor and saw an amazing array of hawks and owls, a number being flown in the wild. We got some great photos, obviously. It's a great place to visit, educational and engaging. Definitely worth a return visit in due course. 100% recommended.

Trevor runs an incredible experience here at Dublin Falconry. The center is located on the beautiful grounds of the Luttrellstown Castle, and it’s easy to get to by car or cab from downtown Dublin (only about 15 minutes driving). You can tell that he cares about his birds, as he lets them fly and hunt on the grounds, not just flying from place to place. My sister and I couldn’t have been happier to spend the morning here, Trevor was a wealth of knowledge and incredibly kind. The next time we find ourselves in Ireland, we’ll be sure to pay another visit.

Our experience here was wonderful. We’ve been going over the photos we took, and honestly feel a bit of a loss for words. The area is on the grounds of a stunning castle with beautiful fields and gardens. Trevor was incredibly friendly, charming and knowledgeable. The birds all felt magical, for lack of a better word. They each had a different personality, and getting to interact with them so closely felt like an incredible privilege. Our experience was unique and unforgettable.

What an amazing and unique experience!! Not only did we get up close, fly and feed beautiful hawks, falcons and owls, but we also gained a friend - Trevor. We will travel back to Dublin just to visit here again. Don’t miss it! Truly a once in a lifetime kind of experience.

What an exquisite experience! My family and I spent the day with Trevor and his beautiful Avian crew. We learned more than we ever expected about handling and caring for birds of prey. To be able to hold these beautiful creatures and experience them up close was something our family will never forget. We also got the bragging rights of being the very first people to hold and pet Muffin, their most recent rescue at the time (September 2022). I would do this again and again. My family is still raving, 3 months later. Thank you, Trevor! It was a phenomenal experience.

Utterly magical. This experience was absolute perfection. From Trevor’s passion & knowledge of raptors to his friendly disposition and keen understanding of both people and his birds, this was the highlight of our time in Ireland. The relationship he has forged with his animals is unparalleled. We will talk about this experience for the rest of our lives.

I cannot recommend Dublin Falconry enough. We literally got off our plane & rushed to make our appointment! It was our first impression of Ireland & we were so glad we did this! Trevor is thoroughly knowledgeable & kind (we loved having coffees & tea with him after our Hawk Walk, & hanging with Stella & Pixy, the gorgeous Irish setters). Our hawk walk was truly incredible! We have always been admirers of raptor species & this experience allowed us to spend more up close time with these incredible birds. I strongly recommend you book a session with Trevor if you will be in Dublin. This was one of the top experiences we had on our trip & is truly unique.

We had a wonderful morning with Trevor and Salsa the Harris Hawk. His passion for his birds is evident in the level of training they receive and it's clear that the birds respect and listen to him. Salsa was very well behaved and a delight to handle, as were the lovely dogs that greeted us when we arrived. Trevor was full of information and answered all of our questions enthusiastically. The grounds of the castle were immaculate and we had the place completely to ourselves. Highly recommend booking to visit Dublin Falconry if you want one-on-one time close up with these fascinating birds. Thank you, Trevor!

Fantastic experience. We did the owl experience with Trevor who was friendly and very knowledgeable about the birds. As a part of the experience, we fed and had the owls fly to us. They were amazing and very well trained.

This was an amazing experience! The birds are beautiful and Trevor was really nice to talk to. He gave us good information about the bird and showed us how they hunt in the wild. We got the see the birds up close, they flew to our arms and we fed them. We got to see owls, hawks and falcons. I would really suggest it to everybody. Trevor really takes the time to educate you about the bird and you can see it is his passion. Thank you Trevor for the amazing day!

Trevor showed us incredible things - knowledge of each bird, history, Ireland. The whole experience was amazing - watching the birds, handling them, learning about the personalities of each one. I would highly highly recommend (except for smaller kids). Trevor’s passion and care for his birds are evident. These are beautiful creatures he reared and has a close connection with. Thank you!

This was such an amazing experience that we will never forget. Trevor is so sweet and truly passionate about what he does. We were on vacation and had our children with us but Trevor really catered to them to make them feel as included as possible. All of the birds are so well taken care of. A must see if you're in Ireland. Thank you so much for the beautiful experience =)

Would highly recommend Dublin Falconry. Trevor was very accommodating and friendly. His eagerness to make it a memorable and enjoyable experience, made it one to remember. It was an absolute pleasure to experience someones passion for these beautiful birds and for this country’s heritage and history. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time on our hawk walk, getting to fly the hawks from the trees and the castle, right to our arm. Would definitely love to do this again!

We had so much fun here! The owner was great and had such a passion for his birds. His birds are very well trained and not intimidating to hold. They really are amazing creatures and it was so cool to watch them up close. Highly recommend. Plus, the backdrop for the pictures is beautiful!

What a day out, Trevors passion and love for the age old art is phenomenal. A day well worth it, not a quick 1 hour but more than 5 hours of pure adrenaline.

Have been going to Trevor for many years and always such a pleasure going out to him. Always have such a good outing with him whenever we visit him and the kids live all the birds. Would highly recommend him.

This might be the best experience Ireland has to offer aside from it's historical and natural sites. I would recommend going for the maximum experience that your time and budget will allow. Trevor is an true gentleman and scholar, who is fully committed to both the care of these amazing birds and the education of visitors. Important Information: - Trevor is flexible but you need to be as well: different birds are able to fly in different conditions, so rain, wind speed, and temperature may require modification of your experience. Be open minded. - not for small children. If your kids do not have enough understanding of nature to witness birds of prey eating prey (chicks and mice, not live), this is not an ideal experience for them. Also, if your children are not able to stay completely quiet and still when asked, they might spook the birds. Also, if your kids can't hold still and follow directions they might take a full speed falcon in the face which would kill the bird and severely injure the child's face. -the dogs who guard and hunt with the birds are friendly and loving.

Visited Dublin Falconry with my daughter some time ago for a hawk walk. It is a completely unforgettable experience in the beautiful setting of Luttrelstown Castle and Trevor's vast knowledge and experience makes it an educational and inclusive day out for both adults and children. I highly recommend Dublin Falconry if you're looking for a memorable day out with family, friends or colleagues, the location is second to none too with the castle as a backdrop to the day.

Fantastic experience, Hawk Walk is highly recommended. Very educational. Trevor was very friendly and informative. We saw beautiful birds, and enjoyed walking around Luttrelstown Castletown with the Harris Hawk flying to our gloves.
