The Glass Curtain completely exceeded our expectations. Though modest on the outside; the inside is modern and warm. The head chef was in the kitchen which was really neat to see. The food was sublime. We went to several places in Cork and the flavors here were completely elevated. And the wait staff was fantastic! Our server took the time to write down recommendations for bars playing music for us to go to after dinner. Quintessential Cork, kind and fantastic!

Fantastic experience here, right from the start the staff were welcoming and accommodating (offering a pescatarian menu based on options from the standard and veggie tasting menu). The atmosphere is ideal for chatting, with some nice music in the background . The food was great, every dish combining flavours in interesting ways. Service was attentive and friendly too, would definitely come back

What a great place! Loved every moment and every bite. We ate here during our road trip around Ireland for our honeymoon and it was a romantic date night with fine local food and great wine choices.

We had dinner on Friday night and it was absolutely beautiful. We had the tasting menu which is reasonable priced for the experience. I would highly recommend it. The staff are very nice and friendly and have extensive knowledge on each course. It’s a beautiful restaurant and serves really stunning and memorable dishes.

Amazing service and food. The staff were so lovely and the manager even gave us a complimentary taster of Valentia Island vermouth after we mentioned we had been days prior. We particularly loved the oysters and the scallops, and also shared the lamb sweetbread, ricotta milk roll, and monkfish. Every dish was done in a way we hadn't tried before and packed some powerful flavours. Great little place

From the moment we met Sarah on arrival we we had an experience like no other. We decided on the tasting menu because we couldn't choose what we wanted on their a la carte, too many delicious options. We were thrilled with the tasting menu. Flavours, textures, wine pairing 👌👌👌 Dishes to mention cauliflower velouté, "bacon & cabbage"(see photo), ravioli and the chocolate dessert... wow!! Brian, Sarah, Peter and team we amazing. Atmosphere was buzzing. A Saturday very well spent. Thanks guys.

Probably the best restaurant in Cork. The food is fantastic, everything is bursting with flavour. The setting is lovely, and the staff are efficient, knowledgeable and attentive. I have returned several times following my first visit.

A friend of mine recommended this place. I went there for my birthday, the place is nice. The food is amazing . As started we had the focaccia bread , house ricotta and a salad which was delicious. Main was the côte de boeuf. If you are in cork you must try this place.

Really really good food. The focaccia is a must! Also the sea bass. Weekend away from London - this place really made our trip. Do it!

10/10 excellent restaurant. One of the best nights out in ages. We went for the tasting menu and wine pairing and it did not disappoint. It was all delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely, cosy and chill. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you to everyone at the Glass Curtain

We had a fantastic night at the Glass Curtain. Service was great, everyone super friendly and the food was exceptional. We were blown away that every dish was gluten free since we had one coeliac person with us. We especially appreciated the little surprise from the kitchen for our engagement! A very lovely experience overall.

Overrated and overpriced. Read alot of positive reviews which convinced me to bring my partner for her birthday 🎂 but it really doesn't live up to expectations. Very overpriced for really small portions. Im sorry to say i won't be back again. 200 euros for 3 people. Id get better food and value in a local Chinese restaurant to be totally honest.

The Glass Curtain is a standout spot in Cork, no doubt about it. The food is on another level, you get what you pay for here, and the mains are just right for sharing in two or more. Can't ignore the salad either; might've been the best I've ever had, and that was just a side. They also nailed Negroni, a big win in my book. Professionalism was top-notch, and the staff made us feel right at home. If you're in town, this place deserves a visit.

Surprised my partner for a birthday dinner. Food was exceptional. The lamb was so good and I’m not even a fan of lamb. Thanks to the staff for the small birthday treat. I didn’t request for it but initiative to do one is really appreciated! Will be back again. 🙂

I have waited to eat here for what seems a lifetime!!! And I am delighted to say I finally have, and my god, what a treat! Had prebooked for 5.30, arrived on time, greeted by a lovely lady, we were shown to our seats and given our menus. So I have to say I was abit surprised to see the place so empty when we arrived, one other couple sat in the corner, however that was very short lived, as the place had a lovely lively atmosphere within a half hour of us arriving, with the place almost at full capacity. Oh the food, I cannot even attempt to emphasise how tasty and luscious the food was. We ordered the bread and the jambon for starters. The jambon was my husbands choice, although they wernt what he expected, still quite tasty. The bread was absolutely scrumptious! Unreal! Got the beef to share, porterhouse, and mouth watering only begins to describe how it was!!!!! Opted to stay away from desserts, but did get a couple of takeaway desserts for our 2 teens and they wolfed them down, so definitely were a treat to them! So overall, an experience I won't forget too soon, right from the staff to the ambience to the absolutely tasty food, oh and the delightful cocktails I had to wash my meal down with, unreal! A must!

Hands down, the best dinner you can find in Cork city. There is so much flavor in the dishes. The porterhouse steak was beautifully made, if you're a steak fan I would highly recommend this.

I'll start with the positives. Staff were incredible, so friendly and welcoming and very professional. The desserts were lovely too. The starters and main left a lot to be desired though. Duck had fatty and undercooked skin, the turbot was overcooked. Bone marrow was beautifully prepared. The venue was packed and cramped, definitely not the experience I was expecting.

We had the most amazing experience here for dinner. We had only 2 nights in Cork and I'm so glad we picked this place for 1 of them. The food and service was absolutely outstanding.

Simply incredible! The culinary experience at this place can compete with anything in London or New York. Menu has a great range, every dish is so well thought through and the flavours will leave you thinking about this place for a very long time. The bar and cocktails are also a super nice touch - just a beautiful example of Irish hospitality and charm. If I would critique anything is potentially add more than one token vegetarian dish to the menu to round off the experience for the vegetarians. A must visit - kudos to the team.
