A gem of a shop, i try to visit once a week as there is always something interesting on the well stocked shelves. Paudie takes great delight in rooting out rare titles and books you never knew existed but as soon as you see them you have to have them! And most importantly he is not hard on the pocket either! Well worth a browse!!

This treasure trove of rare and old books is one of Tralee's finest hidden gems. Could have spent hours in there and came away with a few very reasonably priced rare editions. The owner is very friendly and helpful - not like Black Books at all! Treat yourself to a browse when you're next in Tralee.

Great selection, fantastic scifi section and kerry books of interest

A lovely find! We could have stayed there all day sifting through a very interesting collection of books. We got a great bargain and left with a fine load of books! Shop owner is a gent too. We'll be back

The best bookshop in Tralee Co kerry and one of the best in the country. Amazing Aladdin cave of books, excellent prices and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, a true book lover. Left with 5 books apiece and could have bought more

Gone for 30 years but I get back to Tralee at least once a year and last week spent part of an afternoon browsing the shop and chatting with Paudie. It was excellent. The breadth of his expertise is wonderful and covered all kinds of subjects & lots of authors. No subject bias - we chatted about Roddy Doyle and Ian Rankin perfectly happily & I left with a couple that I have not read before. It is such a pleasure to enjoy time with someone that just enjoys books. My family all love to read and how I have not been inside Paudie's before is a mystery. We will all be in there when next back in town.
