AMAZING
FOOD
-
Good
Snacks,
awesome
Shawarma
and
magical
Biriyani
A
must
visit
kidilan
malabari
style
restaurant
for
those
travelling
on
Kochi-Thrissur
National
Highway
(only
in
2
min
deroute).
I
stopped
here
following
Google
Maps
suggestion
just
to
have
a
tea.
Ordered
tea
and
seeing
their
snacks
counter,
ordered
'kadi'
unnakkai
and
kaipola.
The
tea
and
kadi
were
really
good.
My
brother
ordered
'Whole
Meat
Cheesy'
shawarma
in
Rumali;
which
I
took
a
bite
and
found
to
be
awesome
without
overloading
of
mayonnaise.
The
filling
was
cheesy,
meaty
and
really
very
tasty.
The
pickles
were
good
too,
as
it
wasnt
too
salty.
Seeing
our
food
love
and
enthusiasm,
they
suggested
us
to
try
their
biriyani
and
assured
that
we
won't
regret
it.
Though
I
sensed
it
as
their
marketing
strategy,
i
cudnt
say
no
to
biriyani,
as
it's
my
all
time
favourite.
Parcelled
a
beef
biriyani
and
a
chicken
biriyani
each
(Rs.
140
each).
Both
the
biryanis
parcelled
were
well
packed
and
was
warm
even
after
1
hour
drive.
The
biriyani
had
nice
aroma
and
the
pieces
were
well
cooked
with
apt
quantity
of
masala
that
was
not
too
much,
nor
too
less!
Out
of
the
two
awesome
biryanis,
the
BEEF
BIRIYANI
was
really
MAGICAL!
Since
it
is
malabar
style
biriyani,
there
was
no
boiled
egg
and
papad
in
it...
which,
as
a
thrissurkaran,
I
love
to
see
in
every
biriyani
:)
Also,
i
found
the
salad
to
be
a
little
watery.
Though
the
place
wasn't
crowded
at
the
time
of
our
visit
in
the
evening
time
(around
6pm),
the
seating
arrangement
inside
seemed
to
be
a
little
clumsy.
OVERALL
EXPERIENCE:
My
visit
to
this
restaurant
for
just
only
a
cup
of
tea
ended
up
with
a
lot
of
great
food
and
awesome
experience.
The
SULAIMANI
they
serve
is
another
great
thing
to
try.
SULAIMANI
is
given
complimentary
with
the
biriyani,
just
like
the
real
Thalassery/
Kannur
style.
Will
visit
again
for
sure
to
have
more
biriyani
and
to
tatse
their
Al
Faham.
