Good place to have south indian recipies. Especially breakfast menu has good variety. You can sit outdoors as well here. Very nice ambience and location. North indian chats are available in the evening. Chilli porotta is nice and can be tried. Kochi Kitchen Awards gave them "Best South Indian Restaurant" Award in 2021. Accepts cards and UPI payments.

I visited this eatery for the first time and the food swept me away. The Chole Bhature, Pani Puri & Tea that we ordered were really fresh and had authentic vegetarian flavours. The amazing food & ambience provided at such reasonable prices is honestly a good deal.

This place is always crowded. So you may have to wait for sometime. But once you are seated and order is taken, wait time is not that much. In spite of the rush, the staff is very pleasing and always smiling. We ordered the peri peri idli, masala dosa and Gobi masala dosa. All tastes very good.

Located in a prime location, it's a very good place for your breakfast or evening snack. The taste felt authentic. The service was very friendly. Spacious table and even the table gaps where decent enough. Loved they have their wash area placed outside the dinning room.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in kochi. A really great place for friends and family dinner because of the great lights and night vibes of panampilly nagar. The ambience was very welcoming. The service was good too. The food was up to the mark and was very tasty especially the podi masala dosa. The chinese items were also not disappointing.

On road best place to have a hunger break. Loved their dosa and bullet idli. They have out sitting arrangements and one can sit inside the restaurant too. But the noise of kitchen and the smell of other food items are high inside. They can play some good music to add on to the experience to their customers and need to do something about kitchen noise. There is a hand wash area where there is no sign board which they need to have and also I have no idea about the toilets if they have. Their chola bhatura is also so yummy.

Gokul ootupura is one of my current favourite spots. Recently, whenever i visit kochi I visit panampilly just to go there. Gokul ootupura has got very tasty nadan food also chats available. And their nanari cooler is must must try. All their snack items like uzhunu vadas and parupuvadas is superb tastyy.

If you are in Panampilly Nagar and want to have a vegetarian meal, this is a safe bet. The largest of the franchisees in Cochin is unique in offering a covered and wheel-chair accessible outdoor seating area, in addition to two dining halls. These can be accessed via two steps with side rails. Food is the usual fare and will definitely not let you down. The dosa was crisp but the consistency of the chana accompanying the bhatura was could be thicker. The onion uttappam fared better with it's rich toppings lending a welcome tangy flavour to the dish. Also serves an assortment of fruit juice. A notable aspect is the provision of clean washrooms which is something not all eateries in Cochin can boast of. The parking lot right outside can hold five hatchbacks but the whole of Panampilly Nagar is available so finding parking is not really an issue 🙂.

Best dosas I’ve ever had in my entire life 😭 The place that made me fell in love with Cochin. The first place I visited here was this. The staff is so so nice, they listen to you v carefully. The food is ughhh, made me foodie. Also very fair prices. This place deserves to be known moooore. <3

This used to be one of the MUST-go-to places at Panampally Nagar, and it’s a NEVER-go place for me now. Over time, restaurants get too comfortable and take things for granted, which is the path this place is on today. I had several visits, and they consistently delivered poor-quality food. I was at breakfast this morning, and they served poor quality Poori Sabji, and when I asked about it, the waiter told me, “ These are the last pooris for the day, and it will be like this.” Pics are for you to see what they are like!!

i was in panampilly nagar for just a day and i wanted to taste some north indian chaat like panipuri and dahi puri , some one told me to go here and not to go to bikas babu ( horrible name ) and so i went here and i was amazed they really serve some good tasting chaats and not like we normally get in kerala , taste had north indian street food touch in it , me and my wife were satisfied . apart from it they serve lots of south indian and north indian veg dishes . cofee and tea is great .. neat place to eat , staff really good . overall a good place to have simple but tasty veg food.

One of the coolest place I’ve visited. You can see it’s crowded and top demand for its food varieties. No doubt you’ll enjoy the menu here with delicious dishes . We tried mix of south and bit touch of north and we just loved it.

A really nice place to hangout with veg food. The staff are cordial (given the apparent rush). The food is quite good (Even though you might have tasted better elsewhere). The ambiance is the highlight of the place, given the location and access. The only negative that I can say is the cost of the food, which is really high, given the food that we ordered and the taste. If you go here just for the food, then I'll have to say it not value for money, but if you go there for the ease of access and ambiance, then I'll say, go for it. But given the location and the cost of maintenance at such a place, I can understand the higher price tag....All in all 4/5, but not considering the ambiance it is 3/5.

This is a small veg restaurant in panampally. You can park infront of the places. Food is really good and fresh. Lots of North Indian options including chats. Baby Corn was absolutely yummy.

Visited restaurant with high enthusiasm.But when received the pav baji everything losed.The baji was just like a potato +🍅 Tomato curry. Utter waste. Then about Kothuporotta is also was very poor.But fried rice was good

Good range of dishes from all types of South Indian to North Indian. Had a rava dosa that was well prepared using authentic spices. The service was fast. It was worth a visit, will visit again.

Went in afternoon. Had veg noodles, kothu porotta and ghee roast. Ambience is very good.

Loved that it's a vegetarian place considering there weren't many vegetarian restaurant options around our stay in Kochi. We made it a point to eat here only. In this area there are a couple more veg restaurant options and Gokul Ootapoora was our savior for sure. We had kottu parotta, bullet idli, Vada sambar and kept going back for more.ofcourse we drowned ourselves in filter coffee too. It's a busy place and always crowded but not so much that you have to stand in a queue or reserve a spot. The servers are great too. 😃

Went here for a late lunch! Ordered a ghee roast, bullet idly, vada, Pani puri and lime soda!! Apart from the Pani puri, everything was really good! Served hot and fresh! Loved the small bullet idly that was served! Ghee roast was hot and fresh! Vadas were really good and I loved the sweet lime soda! The Pani puri was a let down as there was a weird stale taste in it. Good place to have really good fresh food. Service was super as the waiter who served was very kind.

I have ordered Chilly Paneer Dosa, Normal Masala Dosa, Peri Peri Idly, Podi Masala Dosa, Meals and Coffee. After Ordering I have waiter for about 15 to 20min for my order to get served. Normal Masala Dosa and Posi Masala Dosa tastes good but the Masala quantity is average. Chilli Paneer Dosa tastes more like Paneer Dosa and dosent have a spicy flavour, The coffee is good, The meals are average. Peri Peri Idly tastes good but the size is very small cuz each Idly is about 1 inch in diameter.

A wonderful place for vegetarian food. We had meals and it was absolutely authentic Kerala meals. The rasam, thiyall and kalan were mind blowing....on top of that a yummy pala ada. Highly recommended for people who relish a Kerala veg meals. They also have chappati, dosa , iddli ,etc . Would love to try those next time.

Great Taste, Great Options! Had been on a Sunday afternoon. The meals were a perfect balance of flavours. The spices were subtle in all the dishes. The place is maintained very well. Sundays can be a little crowded.

Had a remarkable paper masala dosa at Oottupura in Panampally Nagar. The outdoor seating added since Covid are a very welcome addition.

Undoubtedly best food I had in kochi in long time ❤️ from North Indian snacks to main course every thing is superb ❤️ and that Oreo shake and filter coffee is cheery on the top. There no one to take your order..and by luck if someone comes to take your order after 15-20 mins the waiters attitude is like he is doing us a favor and giving us free food. And if you complaint about it the attitude of the person at the counter is also like you want to eat here so deal with it!

I went there to have this peri peri fried idly. It's a signtaure item by them. So cool 🥰 . I love it . Yummy tasty fried idly waiting to be dipped in peri peri sauce. Go and have it 🤩

Order taking staff are not well trained. Even if there's something available , they'll say it's not available . You'll be lucky if they hear you out . White Coconut chutney served with Dosa was stale from atleast a couple of days before.

Better put a name only for northies. Most of their suppliers are racist. They are least caring to keralites. Only they were interested in attending the northies. Today we visited and for taking the order from us waited for more than 15 minute and were treated like having food for free. Ordered food not delivered on time after doing a lot of follow up with the supplier. Last we had ordered a chat but we waited so long and left without having due to this poor service. Next to us one northern side family was also there and the waiter attended and took care of them warmly. They ordered more than the dish we ordered and supplied on time. Will never visit here in the future and I'm going to tell this incident to the nearest one also. This is not the first time this kind of similar incident happened. But again I visited here just because it is nearer to my home.

i used to have lunch from Gokul's oottupura before covid19, with that belief i took my friends from Trivandrum today to Oottupura and had the worst kind of food i ever had from a hotel. I am totally disappointed in the kind of food quality you provide. Kindly bring back the old food quality or else you may loose customers like us.
