This place is not too great. The room 703 everything was fine until we pulled up the sheets and there was blood. Then we moved to room 831, The room was good until we turned on the shower it was making very loud sounds and had low water. Then we moved to room 1619 it was better than does 2 rooms but the water was way too powerful and there were stains on the shower curtain in room 1619.

The room was great as well as the breakfast. This hotel gets three stars because the pool was filthy. I wanted to cool down on a hot day and thought i would enjoy getting in the water but it was so dirty i did not want to even put my feet in it. I love the marriott brand so this was disappointing.

Wish I could give 10+ stars! This location is a great place to stay. When you enter the lobby..You notice the open space, smiles and professional customer service. So clean it actually sparkled🤗, The snack bar/area was well stocked, organized and clean. There is also a small deli area..very clean and food looked fresh and good. I believe it is prepared when you order. They also have live Entertainment in the evening! Nothing loud, soft and enjoyable. Elevators...spotless. Hallways to your rooms..spotless. Room: fresh scent when entering room, and yes..SPOTLESS!!! My bed was very comfortable...and had a pleasant quite night. I wish I could have stayed longer, but on my next visit to the area..I WILL!

I am only going to talk about the overnight parking and complimentary shuttle to and from John Wayne Airport. That is what I used them for. Though, I will add as a DJ working for a company before Covid killed the company, I worked the Irvine Marriot many a time and always found the staff pleasant. After researching many places for a multiple day parking solution for John Wayne Airport I found this Marriot had the least inexpensive prices, plus the aformentioned shuttle, which runs during the day and late night. I needed a 5 day parking solution. It cost me about $70.00. Averaging $12 00 a day. Not bad, especially because it is one of the closest hotels to John Wayne Airport. I got back from Hercules and Oakland tonight. My plane was late getting back. Yet, I did not have to wait too long for a shuttle back to the Marriot to pick up my car. I was the only one on the shuttle. The driver had just taken a large group back. I missed being in that group most likely because my plane was late. Being the only one in the shuttle, we got into a pleasant conversation. He asked me about Oakland and we talked about San Francisco. I told him I was sent to Hercules to pet sit 10 indoor cats. (and 4 outdoor cats) All rescues. He said he had a cat who was a rescue. It was a nice conversation. The kind of thing I grew to expect in Oakland and San Francisco where everyone I talked to was nice, helpful, and polite. Something I rarely see in the O.C. or L.A.

Private and quiet. It is in the center of everything so you don’t have to travel too far for outside events. They have a great fitness room, inside golf simulator, AWSOME swimming pool with a jacuzzi and activities. The bar and restaurant are open until 2 or 3 which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby for your wake up.

We stayed here for my son's soccer tournament. Place is brand new inside. Great bar, food looked good, just never had the chance to try it. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, rooms were clean, new, but a bit small, but worked for us. Which I had more time to try all the amenities. I will stay here again.

The hotel room was pretty small. It does not have a full closet. Just enough room to hang a few clothes. But it was fine for the weekend. The bigger issue was the service. It started with pulling up. There were two guys standing in the front with sunglasses on selectively choosing people to help. So when we asked for help with our bags… they informed us they were valet and not bell hops. So then we asked if we could just get a luggage cart. Then they said we couldn’t get a cart. It required a bell hop. Despite all of these people wearing Marriott name tags. Then we tried to get a bell hop and he was just standing there too. So finally we just started carrying our bags in. Only to finally have the bell hop come out with a cart AFTER we had just struggled to carry everything in. Then the bellhop followed us in and we ended up loading the luggage cart ourselves as the guy explained why he hadn’t helped sooner. And one of the explanations was we had said no to him earlier. Even though we had not talked to him and only the valets. And then as we went up the elevator with the bellhop…. The questions he asked were so intrusive! He asked so many personal questions. When we checked in, we were not told about breakfast or the amenities. We had to ask for hours of everything. The pool area and restaurant and lounge was nice. There are bikes you can rent and a golf simulator… so lots of fun things and it felt they were very accommodating of kids. But boy they need to work on service…. Or make their valets look like the 3rd party ones sometimes hotels have.

Beautiful lobby, clean rooms, nice pool, and convenient location to SNA, but a quiet sleep is totally dependent on your neighbors as the walls are almost comedically thin— especially when your room has an adjoining door. My neighbors enjoyed cannabis that was so pungent I could taste it well into the night, and they had equally little concern for their neighbors in regards to noise. Overall nice, but don’t come expecting solitude! Overall n

I like the place. It is a bit pricey, but I am getting the family and friends discount. It is manageable. The shower has another lever to allow water to flow to the shower head otherwise it doesn't work. They do have bikes to rent at a desk in the lobby. The lobby and bar make up the first floor. There are two TVs in the bar. The rooms have beds with memory foam on them. The sheets are comfy and lite.

Nice hotel near SNA - John Wayne Airport. Rooms are clean and well taken cafe of. Front desk was friendly during check-in. Lobby Bar has very good drinks and the food is better than the average hotel food. This property has a nicer than average M Club lounge that is open 24 hrs a day. Very nice. Would stay heads again.

Nice hotel with good amenities. The room was clean and the hotel was nice. However, be aware of your belongings. I had just played a tennis match and left my dirty clothes in the room (who would want that?!), which included two cute tennis dresses. I called saying that I had forgotten the bag in the room, and they said the house keepers didn't have it and they didn't know where it was! Well, I know for a fact, I left it in the hotel room, so that was very unfortunate. Never had that happen before.

Room was clean and beautiful, and service throughout our entire stay was great. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Jackie was so helpful and kind at check in. Great location close to everything.

We recently stayed at the Irvine Marriott while our daughter competed in a cheer competition in the area. Our experience start to finish was wonderful! The check-in process was welcoming and quick. Our room was clean and very comfortable for our family of four. Whether it was housekeeping in the hall, the valets downstairs or staff in the lobby, we were always greeted with a smile. When we requested additional bedding, it was brought to our room promptly. The location was great, as we could get around Orange County with easy access to the 405.We had a wonderful stay! My kids are already asking when we will get to go back. We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it.

Special shout out to the bartenders in the restaurant. Benjamin went above and beyond, great customer service, presentation, and attitude. Not sure the manager guy too, but I believe he was from Hawaii and he was talking about the speakeasy becoming a pop off. Incredible to have such charisma in a hotel bar. Wasn’t from Irvine but they didn’t give me much need to explore. Hopefully these fellas are properly appreciated.

Excellent hotel, and excellent customer service, thank you for your hospitality and the positive response to my request for upgrade. My wife and I really enjoyed our staying there. We would love to come back again

The hotel is perfectly located for a trip to the Orange county. The service at the front desk and the restaurant were spot on. I highly recommend the Top Golf suite, especially with kids! The pool is heated, with ample lounge room.

I stayed here during the entirety of my first visit to the United States of America. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, with great advice on local transport and nearby essentials. I was ultimately impressed that my favourite coffee was also located in the hotel, Starbucks. The hotel also boasts a beautiful outside pool area, a gym, a bar and more. The nearby area is also immaculate and a very safe familial location for those wanting to stay in LA, Irvine is a great choice.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. We liked everything! All areas are very beautiful. The only downside is that for this price there is no free breakfast.

Nice hotel. However, the young lady that checked me in made a mistake and put us in a room with 1 king size bed and my reservation was for 2 double beds. So, I had to go back down and get put in another room. I went up to that room and it had a very fowl smell! So, went back down for a second time and asked for a manager that ended up putting me in another room. So, 3 room changes did not make me happy. I begin to feel as if I had made the wrong hotel choice. I reserved the Topgolf Swing Suite, the trash can was full and not emptied. I was told that "sorry, it has been a busy night". I would have preferred to wait a little longer for a completely clean room when it was our turn to rent out the suite. My plans were to return to this hotel but, I have to do some strong thinking about it. Also, the parking sucked! You pay $39/night and there is NO PARKING!!!

Stayed here while visiting some friends. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and a great value. At first glance the prices seemed slightly high, but every item my girlfriend and I ordered not only tasted great, but was a solid portion size. The service at the restaurant/bar and overall at the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and modern, but the bathroom was a little small. The main room door also didn't buffer sound super well so I would recommend bringing a white noise machine if you're sensitive to sound. Overall great place. Would happily stay again.

The location is perfect..right next to the airport. The hotel and restaurant is awesome. The only reason I gave it 4 stars parking is $27 for 15 min or $37 for longer. I was at a banquet and was surprised regarding the parking rate.

I had the most pleasant experiences with the staff at this hotel when I used a 2nd party for long-term parking at the hotel property. I did everything wrong, but the staff went out of their way to help me. The valet and front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Thank you for treating me like a valued customer even though I was just parking here. I would stay here just knowing I would get top rate guest services from the staff.

If you're flying into Santa Ana, also known as the John Wayne Airport, also known as the Orange County airport, this is a good location and just a short drive from the airport. This hotel is very clean and looks like it's just been remodeled recently. Upon walking in, you'll find a beautiful open lobby and you will be greeted by some very nice staff. Once you finally are able to check in and get up to your room you'll be pleased with what you see.

Easy check-in and comfortable bed make this a good business hotel. Be aware that the nearby highway is audible in the rooms, so make sure to request a room that is as far away from I-405 as possible. Gym is basic, but gets the job done.

Incredible staff. Friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful, from the folks at the front desk to the servers in the restaurant, we were well taken care of. BTW, the restaurant is incredible. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. For breakfast, the eggs Benedict and lox bagel!

What an amazing hotel. We only stay at Marriott brand hotels and the Irvine Marriott is well appointed and very well maintained. The bar area is quite nice as the decor throughout the lobby and rooms. The personnel was quite friendly and James the valet is stellar in his customer service and professionalism. I am quite thankful for his expertise relative to dealing with our vehicle. Thank you

Amazing service!! The hotel and amenities completely met my expectations. The team totally exceeded my expectations!! I was having a terribly scrambled day and the team went out of their way to be kind and offer extra touches to make my day easier. I’ll be back here 100% next time I’m in town.

The property is very nice and well maintained. However, the room I got was really noisy, close to the 405 and not properly soundproof. You would expect that from a Marriott hotel. I could not sleep much and in addition there was a noisy minibar that you could not make silent. It had permanently mounted power and no way to shut off. So all in all, it is not value for money.

The front desk was very caring. I was disappointed, a Salsa dance event (party) took over the entire pool and hot tub area. It was LOUD and crowded. The street tacos were absolutely terrible. Never would have thought street tacos at a Salsa party could be that bad. This hotel is more for travelers and not to relax. We spent our free time walking around the local area.

This property is very nice. The rooms are updated and clean. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and willing to assist to make your stay comfortable. Would come back again.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The front desk team was friendly at check in. The service leaves a lot to be desired throughout the rest of the hotel. Much of the hotel is still closed or at minimal operation levels. Room service can only offer coffee cups and plastic to-go cups for champagne and wine. We were looking forward to the TopGolf Suite and M Lounge, neither were open upon our arrival. We were informed that that the TopGolf Suite would be closed on Sunday and Monday.
