BEWARE OF SCAM: The reality of this restaurant is that the food is microwaved, or at least ours was. We paid over $250 for this meal (for two people) and the food tasted like cardboard and my lasagna was still frozen on the inside. You could see evident water marks coming from the side of the plate that showed it was only microwaved - what a disappointment. 😖 We ordered the salmon and vegetarian lasagna and they were both below par to a ‘fine dining restaurant’. Do not be fooled by the reviews and photos. I would save your money and eat elsewhere!

I've been wanting to try Gorji ever since moving to Dallas about a year ago. I'm sure the takeout menu is phenomenal but I like to see plating, the chef, etc. so I never ordered. I'm glad I finally got a table tonight, I couldn't of been more happy. Every dish I ordered was well thought out and executed to perfection. The only drawback is the price, which in all honestly isn't that bad but is still very high-end. For me this is a once a year type environment and I'd recommend the same mindset to anyone asking.

We have been going to Gorji’s for many years and is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants. His attention to detail combined with his immense knowledge of how to use different flavors is unmatched! We have our anniversary dinner here every year and will continue to for years to come.

Impeccable service and excellent food. We had one of the best meals in Dallas at Gorji. It is a small restaurant with only 5 tables each night so make sure to book ahead. The tables were spaced nicely apart to ensure social distancing. After each dish was served, the chef/owner would come out to check on us to make sure we enjoyed the dish! And let me assure you that every dish was a delight! We cannot wait to return.

Chef Gorji and his staff exemplify fine dining at its best. Chef ensures that each reservation (made over the phone) is personally confirmed. He shops for the all the local groceries for his guests, never turns the table (it’s yours for the whole evening) and speaks with you at the table to ensure each dish is made to your liking. This date night gem has become our location for birthday parties and our most recent company holiday party. Yes, you can rent the whole venue out and enjoy the restaurant with all your closest friends!!! Chef’s gnocchi, pork chop and grilled and chilled avocado topped with his Arrabiata sauce are some of my favorites. I always get the grilled octopus anytime its available. Cheers!

One of the best restaurants in Dallas. We have dined with Gorji’s on multiple occasions and he never disappoints. Recently we ordered takeaway to dine in our own home and everything was cooked exactly how we asked and packaged up perfectly. Chef Gorji even called us later in the evening to ask if everything turned out to our expectations, which is something you normally do not receive at other establishments. Either dining in the restaurant or at home our experience has always been top notch. He truly delivers an experience like no other.

Excellent food, great service, even reserved parking spots in an area where it's usually very difficult to find parking. You must make a reservation, there are only a few tables. No tipping allowed, you pay for great food and service. You'll certainly be able to meet Chef Gorji and talk about his restaurant.

We have eaten at many excellent restaurants all over the world. Celebrated my birthday there. Have no words to describe this restaurant. In my opinion this was an experience I have never had anywhere. Service amazing. Food wow. Gorgi is something else his only goal is to make your dining experience special. Thank you for making this such a wonderful and very special evening. Do not miss trying this restaurant out you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough how much I love Gorji’s. This is my husband’s and my go-to restaurant to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, or just having a nice date night. The food and wine is always amazing. The service is the best in the city. You can’t get any better.

I am indeed a foodie and very picky about restaurants in the DFW area. However, Chef Gorji met my high standards with foods that were amazingly prepared. You can't go wrong with whatever you order but the Sea Bass and Vegetarian Lasagna had me wanting more. The grill vegetables were so well prepared I was left shocked by the seasoning he used. He is also a very humble and kind man and that is an extra bonus. If you want good food in Dallas look no further go to Gorji Restaurant and enjoy good food. Dr. Lisa

Chef Gorji personally called to confirm our reservation. His warmth and approachability set the stage for an evening that would surpass all expectations. Navigating the parking challenges of the area proved to be a non-issue as Gorji graciously provides reserved parking for patrons, reflecting a thoughtful attention to detail that extended throughout our entire dining experience. The roasted garlic and pan-seared catfish kicked off our culinary journey with amazing flavor. The Caesar salad and Panzanella were masterpieces in their own right. The freshest ingredients with bright flavors. The crescendo of our meal was the Prime Beef Tenderloin, a succulent masterpiece that melted in our mouths. The flourless cake that followed was a sweet conclusion, a symphony of chocolatey richness. Our dining experience was further elevated by the impeccable service of James, who seamlessly orchestrated the evening with finesse and genuine warmth. Chef Gorji himself graced our table, radiating kindness and passion for his craft, making our night not just a meal but a genuine connection with the culinary genius behind it all. In every aspect, Gorji proved to be a gem in the dining landscape, where every detail is carefully curated, and every bite is a testament to the chef's dedication to his craft. We find ourselves eagerly planning a return.

This was a wonderful experience. We had a small company holiday dinner at Gorji. The service and food was 5 star level. It would rival any fine restaurant. We had the a four-course meal.- appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. I had the veal appetizer, the kale salad, spinach lasagna and Kiefer and date dessert. All were fantastic. Food: Good; Ambience: Good; Service: Excellent. There are only about 5 tables at this restaurant. No walk ins. It’s very personalized and the chef will play the perfect host. You have an option of a 3 course or 4 course meal(with salad). The appetizers, salad and dessert were great. However, I didn’t think the lamb entree and quail was exceptional. Maybe it was good but after tasting the appetizers I probably expected much more. Must go.

5 stars are 5 stars to little as this is a 10 star restaurant. Chef Gorji's personality, and that of his staff makes this a place that is hard to leave. The food is imaginative and spectacular! Even though it has been a few years since we've been there he remembered us by name. Chef Gorji pairs his wine well with his imaginative style of cooking. Five tables, five clearly marked parking spots make for cozy, romantic ambiance! Reservations are required! Thank you Chef Gorji and James for a wonderful evening!

This was our first time here and definitely will not be the last. It is such a wonderful, intimate atmosphere with out of this world food. Often you go to a new restaurant and there is something you don’t care for, but not here. Everything was extraordinary! It makes for an awesome date night/special occasion or just some quiet dinner time place. Can’t recommend it enough!

The most excellent Fine Dining experience. Everything, right from the ambience, the personalized service, four course meal, wine selection and of course Chef Gorji's smile, humour and interactions with our party of four was exquisite and memorable. One wouldn't want to miss out on this even if you are visiting Dallas or are a local.

My husband and I had the extremely good fortune to attend a birthday dinner for my best friend on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Gorji's is a LOVELY restaurant! It is small, intimate, quiet and has a relaxing modern décor. Even though it is small, the plate glass windows give a wonderful illusion of space. The plants outside make a nice screen and let you feel like you are in a garden area. It is extremely clean as well! The food is, quite frankly, to die for. Chef Gorji is nothing short of a genius. His approach is unique and so very flavorful! His gorgonzola gnocchi is the best I have EVER tasted. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. The appetizers were a mix of couscous, hummus, grape leaf rolls and homemade pita bread. Light and flavorful but not overpowering. I had a difficult time not eating the entire appetizer! For dinner, I had the salmon and shrimp with mashed potatoes over a bean I did not recognize. I wish I would have double checked to see what it was. What a treat! All the flavors paired so well together and the portions were just right. And oooohhhh those desserts! I had the flourless chocolate cake. I have had flourless chocolate cake many times before but this was the best I have ever had. That cake is dangerous. You will definitely want to have more than one slice if you have the room! His wine selection is fantastic as well! We were served a delicious Tempranillo, I believe a Cabernet Sauvignon, and I had a Chardonnay. I thought the Chardonnay was perfect. Lightly chilled with a lovely blend of oak and that distinctive buttery finish. So yummy. I wish we would have had time to try some of the other bottles! Chef Gorji is such a lovely person as well. He checked on all the guests frequently and made sure the evening was flowing as smoothly as possible. James, his waiter, is a delight! So sweet, funny, considerate and a consummate professional. He made our evening extra special. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! Dining at Gorji's is a true epicurean delight! If you are lucky enough to get a reservation, don't rush. Enjoy your dinner and all the wonderful flavors that come with it.

Gorji’s is a regular for our special occasions. Menu and service is impeccable, and any wine we might try is always a unique (and delicious) experience. Vegetarian options are available, and are often my first choice, even though his steaks consistently rank “Best in Dallas”.
