The team here took really good care of us. Brought in our car with over 100K miles and need some overdue maintenance completed. They checked everything and let us know what was critical and what could be done over a period of time. It was a lot and I knew it would be. I opted to get it all done. They had my car ready the next day by lunch time. Great service and the car feels great!!

At the end of the work day I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection. I failed the inspection due to a bad tire. I mentioned I had a full size spare in my vehicle and asked if they could be swapped and my vehicle would then be in compliance. The associate behind the desk said yes they could do that but I would need to come back the next day as they were about to close. Not a problem, I understand business hours. I came back around 8am, brought the paperwork from the previous inspection, to speak with a different associate. This guy said it would be illegal for them to change the tire and then do the inspection as it was unethically eliciting business. He said I’d need to have the tire changed somewhere else and come back. Went to Meineke down the road and they about laughed at me for suggesting I was told that. I’m not entirely sure if what I was told was accurate but if not this a really strange way to conduct business and was a waste of my time.

I’ve taken my cars to City Garage for several years now, and they’re the only ones I trust for major repairs. I can expect an honest and prompt quote, itemized in order of urgency and quality work that I can trust. I love the folks who work here; they’re always friendly and accommodate my schedule. I bring my car all the way from south Texas because it’s that important to me that I get any repairs done at a City Garage—in this case, a catalytic converter replacement.

Christmas miracle! My dog and I were headed from Northern California to Houston for Christmas and my Subaru's alternator decided to die on me in the freezing cold on the 23rd of December late at night. I found City Garage via AAA and not only were they open on a Saturday but even on Christmas Eve which is pretty much unheard of. The Subaru got towed in there around 11:50am and they had diagnosed it and ordered a new alternator before the noon cutoff time. My car was ready and good as new by 1pm and I was able to get home to my family before dark on Christmas Eve. These guys truly rock!!

I took our Subaru in for an alignment because the dealership said it needed to be done but this place checked it first and no, it didn't need an alignment and Austin told me right away. He did say it needed something else but it could wait if I wanted but I went ahead and got it done today. Car runs better now. Nice guys, didn't talk down to me and didn't try to take advantage because I'm a woman. I'm a talkative person sometimes and they let me jibber jabber on which made me feel great. Definitely recommend this place.

Great, quick and convenient services! Had both cars in today for state inspection, added an oil change for one. They checked over my brakes (did not need changing) and walked me over to show me their condition. Appreciate the transparency, quick work and friendly, clean waiting room! 1/25/2024 Visited Brakes Plus for quotes on installation of Dodge Ram 1500 PU power steering pump. Quotes with and without parts. The front desk crew Chance and Hue explained the process. I agreed on price and installation within 3 hours. Great professional service. EV

I don't know too much about cars so I'm always worried about getting talked down to when I go to an auto shop. The experience here was great. The gentlemen who helped me was straightforward and respectful, and explained everything really well. He had my best interest in mind when discussing my options and helped me make educated decisions. He was very transparent about everything.

Great honest shop, will not do unneeded services. Will even refuse money if service is needed. Definitely would recommend my mom to this shop. Look for Chuck or Mason!

I’ve used this shop multiple times and each time they have exceeded my expectations. I’ve had major repairs to my car and they’ve always diagnosed it and had it corrected on the same day! Chuck is very knowledgeable and courteous and has gone out of the way to make having a car repaired as painless as possible!! The customer service is just all around great, I highly recommend!! If only I could put more than 5 stars!

I highly recommend this place to get your car repaired. I had a water pump go out and some other things, and my car was overheating and didn’t run. I took my car to a well known car repair company, and City Garage by Brakes Plus beat their price but also went above and beyond to double check that it wasn’t something else. The customer service is also phenomenal. I’m definitely leaving the their competitor to bring my car here in the future. Thank you so much for taking good care of my car.

I attempted to bring my car in to be looked at at another mechanic and they turned me away because they were understaffed. A Google search led me here to Brakes Plus, and I have never been happier to have been turned away. ☺️ Chuck and his team are incredible! They patiently explain any answers to questions, are refreshingly honest about their pricing (they recommended I wait to do my repair until normal business hours the next day so that the parts I needed would be more affordable due to more suppliers being open), and are overall just trustworthy and sweet. I've got a feeling I've found my new regular mechanic. 😁 Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely the best customer service!! I came in an hour before closing time for new brakes. The lock for the tires was left at a location after having tires checked. I had to retrieve the tire lock, was back 30 mins before closing and they still took care of me. I explained we were leaving the next morning at 6am and desperately needed brakes before our trip. They had all their guys working on our truck and even stayed after closing time. Love this place!! Highly recommend!! These guys are a true blessing!

I love this garage. It’s a no-BS relationship and they explain things clearly and are priced very reasonably. Every time something has taken a while it has been for good reason and I’ve always been glad they took the extra time with my truck or my wife’s van. I recommend City Garage to all of my neighbors!

I came with oil and filter already on hand. They had no problem with this and only charged a little over $30 to do the oil change and check other areas. They did not try to upsale. The gentleman in the office was also kind enough to find a movie for my 4 energetic children while we waited. I was very pleased with the service, speed and kindness of the employees in this place.

I first stopped by the Brakes Plus on Blue Mound Rd in Fort Worth, but was not able to get service as they were full for the day. I then called this location and they were eager to get me in! The staff here are super nice and you can tell they truly care about giving their customers great quality service. Highly recommended this location!

Ken and Hue were friendly, professional, and very helpful. I felt like I received a honest reasonable estimate, they found me a coupon to get me under my budget, and let me know exactly what I needed. The facility was clean and they had coffee and water available while you wait. It’s also walking distance to many restaurants and stores if you need to kill time, but I was given a free Lyft to get home while my car was being serviced. Good place to get your car fixed and you will receive great customer service.

This location is a bit out of the way for me but I still take the extra time to go to the Brakes Plus on North Beach! All the staff (especially Hue) is kind and all about helping the customer. They get my car out quick and for a SUPER low price. Because of their hospitality and charisma, you always know the job is going to be done well!

The experience with Brakes Plus was excellent. They treated us very well. During the repair they were not satisfied with the repair and redo, leaving the brakes at 100. My wife and me are very satisfied with Hue service and attention to us. This was in North Beach, Fort Worth. We recommend them!
