I went through Laverty's due to seeing the shop on Fixer Upper. We had just gotten into town Saturday afternoon and rushed to the shop. I really didn't find anything I needed but that doesn't mean you won't. There is another level to the store and I found a table full of antique chandelier crystals, which I had to go through. Laverty's closes at 4:00 on Saturdays but the other shop closes at 5:00. I advise you to call the shop or check their website for other hours.

Go to their Facebook page. Like it and get on their email list. They are open about once or twice a month. It's worth the wait. When they are closed, they are on buying trips. They bring some of the most incredible stuff to Waco. The prices are the best in Texas. So, when you see the place closed, know they are out finding some awesome stuff to share with you and when you see them open, you better get in there.

The coolest old stuff. Old school dealers that sell great old antiques. Lots of old interesting cool stuff. Tons of off center , one of a kind things. Dealer friendly pricing. Good , kind, soulful dealers. Did my heart good to find them. My only regret is that I didn't find your shop years ago. You folks are what make this business great!! Hope to see you again soon. If Laverty's is open while you're in town. You gotta go! Pat's prices are unbeatable and she has so much in the store. If you need pieces of glass to finish an existing piece or just want to look around, Laverty's is a one of a kind shop. I found a gorgeous curio for a great price that completed a space in my house I've been trying to fill for months.

An interesting assortment of things. I wanted to buy more, but couldn't find help. So I went to the front to ask about buying a piece of furniture. I was curious about their process. Do we pay now and pick-up later? Or pay now and take the item home. The lady, at the front, cut me off mid- sentence, and wouldn't help us. I guess she was really busy. It was odd. So we left empty handed. We won't be back.

Absolutely loved this place and the prices were great. Ms. Laverty and her staff were very friendly and helpful. If making the trip check to see the weekends they are open. Spent an hour in the parking lot trying to load all of our treasures up without having to get a trailer, lol. Will definitely be planning another trip to Waco and will be sure to go the weekend they are open. Thank you Ms. Laverty, we enjoyed visiting with you.

Okay this was an amazing experience. They normally are not open on Monday. But we didnt know that so we stopped by; the owner let us in to look around anyway. Then we found some great deals. Awesome experience but I will call next time for an appointment like the door indicates is needed. We super appreciate the excellent service.

It was nice to shop at a place where Chip and Joanna Gaines shop they had a really cool teapot that was a really good deal so I think my daughter's going to love that

Open just once a month but Pat Laverty spends the time she is closed searching and bringing in some of the most amazing treasures. Fair prices just get there early because this places draws a crowd that ready to shop.

I used to like to go there when they were open 6 days a week. But now I just read that they are only open 4 days a month, and Chip and Joanna Gaines shop there. I guess now they think they are too good to be open regular days and hours like other businesses and they have decided to cater only to rich people and Magnolia tourists, and cut us lowly poor people out of the picture.
