am
deeply
disappointed
with
my
recent
experience
at
the
24
Hour
Fitness
in
Glendora,
CA,
which
necessitates
this
review.
Without
my
consent,
the
gym
renewed
my
membership
and
charged
$243
to
my
account.
Unlike
the
previous
year,
I
did
not
receive
any
courtesy
call
regarding
this
renewal.
When
I
discovered
the
charge
and
called
on
Sunday,
11/26/2023,
to
request
a
refund,
I
was
informed
that
no
managers
were
available.
The
service
representative
assured
me
that
she
would
notify
the
management
the
following
day,
which
seemed
reasonable
at
the
time.
However,
my
attempt
to
confirm
the
refund
the
next
day
was
met
with
an
excuse
that
the
management
was
too
busy
due
to
Cyber
Monday
and
could
not
address
my
concern.
I
was
told
that
I
would
receive
a
callback
the
next
day,
which
to
me
was
unacceptable.
This
lack
of
prompt
response
and
apparent
disinterest
in
resolving
my
issue
was
frustrating.
It
led
me
to
contact
another
branch
to
seek
assistance.
Remarkably,
the
representative
at
the
other
location,
after
consulting
with
his
manager,
resolved
my
issue
and
processed
my
refund
within
minutes
–
a
stark
contrast
to
the
Glendora
gym's
claims
of
being
too
busy.
While
some
staff
members
at
the
Glendora
location
are
commendable
for
being
friendly
and
approachable,
the
management
team's
negligence
in
rectifying
their
errors
is
unacceptable.
It's
disheartening
that
I
had
to
rely
on
another
gym
to
clean
up
a
mess
that
should
have
been
managed
by
the
Glendora
team.
This
experience
has
significantly
eroded
my
trust
and
satisfaction
with
the
Glendora
24
Hour
Fitness
center.
Before
signing
a
membership
with
a
home
gym,
do
your
research,
make
sure
that
you're
dealing
with
individuals
who
have
your
best
interest
at
heart.
If
they
don't,
go
and
sign
up
at
a
different
branch.
