I simply love South Park. Would be great if there were more places like that in Sofia - green natural beauty and clean alleys that are light even during the night.

There are two dog parks here and a lot of playgrounds for kids. There's also a wild area where you can escape from the city. The bad thing is there are no lights at night and some stray dogs may also come at night. There are hardly any toilets which is making the choice of staying longer at the park a hard one. Not good for riding bikes because it's too crowded usually. Overall it's the best park in Sofia.

We found some of the entrances were closed so we had to try and find another way into the park. We had do do some hiking in very secluded places and had a great hiking adventure! It took us half an hour but we made it to the south park in the end!

A park where you can feel the nature although it is in the city. Regular events are organised. There are many alleys and paths with beautiful trees where you can relax. You may find everything that a park has to offer there and is close by.

The best hotel in Paralia Katerini. The location is top, the beach is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is great - always ready to help you and very friendly.

Gigantic and beautiful parkin the middle of Sofia. It's incredibly clean and gets many many visitors, old and young. There's a lot to do for kids, you can rent bicycles for 2/3/4, there's lots of water, places to eat. The view is absolutely gorgeous. With fountains, tall trees filled with squirrels, the mountains in the background. Lots of places to sit in the sun and the shade. Food and drink stalls and tiny little bars you can sit at. We've been there one afternoon, and it wasn't nearly enough. There's so much to see!

The greenest and biggest and wildest Parc in Sofia, with many children, playgrounds, dogs, bars, benches, tables, little lakes and streams. So beautiful at every season...

South Park is a lusciously green patch of land among some of the most modern neighboorhoods in the capital city of Bulgaria. South Park covers an area of 1,48 km². The project for this park was accepted and developed in 1972. The idea of the project was to create a park that works as an extention of Vitosha Mountain. Visitors can find proof of this all around the park, as it has numerous different terrain forms, untouched forests a stunning view of the mountain from specially designed open areas, several man-made lakes and the main entrance to the park meets the end of Vitosha Boulevard. The infrastructure of the park is very friendly to all kinds of outdoor activities, as there are plenty of paths, which are, for the most part, very well-lit during the night, several playgrounds, a concert stage and a good amount of benches and gazebos. What makes the park unique is the harmony of wild and cultured. South Park is a favorite plass for extreme biking, as the terrain allows for various tracks and jumps. Walking along the paths and alleys of the park visitors will also notice informative signs regarding the different bird species that inhabit the South Park right next to wild ducks playing in a pond. The park is alive all year round and especially in the spring and summer. There are always masses gathered there as the trees, fountains and ponds provide a great get-away from the sun. There is a menagerie of small fast food and ice cream stands, as well restaurants, cafés, stalls for cotton candy and even toys. South Park is also the host of the annual Flower for Gosho festival. Held in the beginning of summer, it is a memorial concert dedicated to one of Bulgaria’s most beloved rock musicians Georgi Minchev. On one of the alleys neighbooring the stage, there are always inflatable slide castles, trampolines, bumper cars and other attractions. There is a train-like vehicle that takes visitors on tours around the park for a small fee and departs hourly, One can also rent a bicycles and bicycle carts to roam the park as you wish.

Large park that has everything. From beautiful sights to playgrounds for kids to have fun at. Spacious paths enought to ride a bike alongside walkers. Big enough for a 5km run with no need to make laps. Also a lot of hills if you want a more extreme walk or even a climb. A personal favorite spot is in the more southern part, there is a hill with a cage like arbor on top. Makes you feel like you're in a movie

I love South Park, it has got everything! It is a great place to go by bike, there are many offroad tracks where you can practice jumping and mountain biking. The alleys are smooth which makes for a perfect place for rollerblades and strollers. There are wild forests and well maintained gardens right next to each other, plus you can always find something new because the park is quite big.

Southpark is a huge park in the middle of Sofia and is located at the southern end of Vithosa Boulevard. The park invites you to take a walk. There are also numerous sculptures to admire. In between there are always man-made and well-maintained lakes. The park also has several small cafes. The green areas are well maintained and there are also many beautiful flower beds. The park invites you to relax after an exciting tour of the city center.

It's a good park with enough space to walk. One can enjoy it in every season. I like gathering there with friends to play volleyball/badminton or whichever other sport. I genuinely recommend it.

The South park of Sofia is quite large and well maintained green space with a lot of trees, some small ponds and fountains, plenty of benches and many well situated sculptures. It is a very popular place for walks, picnics, sports, etc., so logically it could be a bit crowded, especially during the weekend. Still, if you want to spend a pleasant couple of hours (of even a whole day) outside with friends, South park is definitely a good choice.

    Overall well organised and maintained park! Advantages: clean playgrounds; dedicated dog playground enclosures; marshes and swamps with wild birds; enough containers for separate waste collection; lightened park alleys during the whole night; snow plowing during the winter; video surveillance; orthodox church. Disadvantage: parking on the main streets surrounding the park;

"The South Park Sofia is an incredibly entertaining and immersive experience that brings the iconic animated series to life in a unique way. The attractions themselves are a blast, offering a mix of thrilling rides and interactive experiences. The park also hosts live shows and performances, featuring beloved characters from the series, which adds an extra layer of entertainment.

One of the best places for a walk in Sofia. Common spot for social meetings, summer festivals and a lot of themed events or happenings. Use public transport as parking around is kind of a challenge.

horrible experience ! the waiter was like a stress ball screaming during the entire time first, he convinced us to get ‘the best table’ then chose our drinks with which we ordered some food to share, supposed to arrive in 10min, and it did in +25min we asked to have it in a box and he started screaming at us, about how unpleased we looked and that we should have cancelled the order.. in the meantime he was convincing a pregnant woman to drink alcohol, saying that it was very normal and even good for the baby - in his village, everyone was doing it I really did not want to listen, but the talk was very VERY loud and disturbing I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I DON’T RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO ANYONE!

Bad place. Waiters don't know how to speak with customers. Half of the menu absent. Waiter during our order told us that "We must be quick, because he have no time on us!!" We cancel our order. And proceed to another place.

It’s the best park in Sofia with plenty of space to sit around, a amusement area, dog parks, several small lakes with ducks. It provides probably the best biking experience in all of Sofia with a bike path leading to the park from NDK, wide asphalt alleys and some hills if you’re into bike jumping

Large place with some good opportunities to enjoy the nature, to have amusements for children and... to have a glass of do nonot beer at the end. No matter of all these moments, there is a wide area for improvements.

That park is a nice hangout place, has some pretty spots and is secluded enough from the roads at a few points. One could watch ducks or squirrels, have a break with friends or just take a nice, relaxing walk.

This park is huge but it felt the most lively one from the ones I've visited(around 4 or 5) during my stay in Sofia. Went during the day, can't say anything about the safety or mood it gives you at night. Nice view of the mountains near the southern entrance.

The beast city park there is in Sofia! Vast open area surrounded by tall trees where at times you could forget that you are actually in the city center. A great place for rest and recreational activities or just hangout and sit or lay on the green grass to watch the sunset from one of the few hills in the park. There a few children playgrounds in the park, a shopping mall near by and lots of cafes too. In the summertime, the park holds few cultural events, concerts and fairs.

More spots to buy food and drinks, more fun stuff for kids and this would be the loveliest park. Otherwise it's OK, needs some looking after, like paths and lawns...

Second best park in Sofia (North park is quieter and has better children's playgrounds). Its big. Has a small lake with ducks, food and great places for picnic.

It is my favorite park in Sofia, one of the few places where you have 4 dog playgrounds and a big lawn where it is allowed by the law to have your dog off leash, so bring a ball and let you puppy run like the wind.

Not only was the park itself a terrific experience, but just seeing all the people, couples, families, etc, out and enjoying the sunny skies and warm weather was a treat after these last 2 years.

Not my favorite. Ever since the Communist period, when the park was built, not much has been done...pretty much desperately needs some work done. Also many ducks walking freely around the park and I don't like that - they're hideous!!!
