My
partner
has
had
an
ongoing
issue
with
this
pub
where
he
has
been
out
of
almost
£2000
for
almost
a
week
due
to
a
“human
error”
which
we
were
originally
advised
was
a
“card
machine
glitch”.
The
problem
is
no
longer
the
initial
charging
of
£930
instead
of
£9.30,
or
the
second
lot
of
£900
which
was
taken
instead
of
refunded,
but
what
has
transpired
since
and
the
quite
frankly
appalling
customer
service
from
managers
at
this
pub.
The
situation
could
have
been
easily
diffused
and
rectified
if
even
a
slight
bit
of
understanding
had
been
shown,
but
once
again,
after
reviewing
the
responses
by
the
pub
to
friends
of
ours
who
have
also
voiced
this
issue,
they
once
again
take
no
accountability
for
their
unacceptable
behaviours
and
act
with
zero
professionalism,
claiming
my
partner
“should
have
checked
the
amount”
before
paying,
which
is
downright
laughable
at
this
point.
Ironically,
they
managed
to
find
some
sympathy
when
our
parents
intervened,
threatening
legal
action,
and
were
suddenly
very
apologetic!
Thankfully,
after
almost
a
week,
he
has
received
said
refund
and
we
will
certainly
be
glad
to
never
have
to
deal
with
this
pub
again.
I
also
find
it
quite
sad
that
the
pub
decided
to
let
the
young
member
of
staff
take
full
responsibility
for
this
issue,
instead
of
responding
as
a
collective
business.
If
you
are
younger
than
about
age
30,
I
would
strongly
advise
against
visiting
as
this
place
evidently
has
no
regard
for
younger
customers,
if
any
customers
at
all.
