Such a brilliant location. Food was excellent. Goat cheese tartlets for starters. Perfectly crispy fish and chips. Reviews are right - the chowder is delicious. Finished off with half a pint of nostalgic sherry trifle. Shout out to Gen who is a breath of fresh air.

Attended on a Monday late afternoon / evening at the beggining of winter half term. Access from the main road is good albeit tight if in a larger vehicle but in keeping with all the roads in the area. Site is a really good old fashioned pub with a really nice atmosphere. Very dog friendly with a small inside room catering for dog owners and plenty of outside space / tables. Busy and small bar area but well staffed and managed. Good amount of room inside, typically sprawling and tight passages for a pub / building of this age. Great service from all staff we encountered. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Cant speak to its accesibility but would suggest wheelchair users are best served staying outside which is spacious and well laid out. Amazing views and literally you walk across the car park and onto the beach. Food at our visit was very good, the Chowder was fantastic and a really generous portion (We had the main course not starter option). We also had the chilli king prawn starters and Salt and Pepper squid which was very good. Overall very easy to reccomend.

me and my friend came across this lovely pub this afternoon whilst visiting Anglesey for the day and searching for a dog friendly pub. From the moment we entered us and the dogs were made to feel so welcome, the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was absolutely delicious, service great, a real traditional pub in a beautiful location. Can’t wait to visit again!

Considering the place was full of people, we received our dinner fast and it was really delicious food. Visiting the island for the weekend, we didn't have a reservation, but we're accommodated outside. It was a chilly night, but the area is well sheltered and has instant heaters that work well. Next time we visit Anglesey, we'll be back!

Advertise as dog friendly, but when my dog peed on external door, we were met by a hostile bar tender who, rather than dealing with it appropriately, chose to make something out of nothing. Issue was swiftly dealt with and our group chose to dine elsewhere. External dining is in the car park at the front.

👍👍 We've visited this beautiful bay many times and had lovely ice cream from The Boathouse kiosk but today we thought we'd dine at the restaurant and have an early dinner, we weren't disappointed. Beautiful food. I had the Pan Fried Salmon and my partner had the Steak & Ale pie. Tasty and good portions...
