So here's one from our holiday in angelsey Wales. The pilot boat pub. Situated off the A5025 surrounded by country side. The pilot is a nice stop for food. Tho it prooved to be our most expensive part of the holiday with 4 mains and 4 drinks costing over 76 quid. Waiting time was short, staff friendly and food was good. Worth a stop but make sure it fits your budgit. Bazz,s pub reviews facebook.

Always come here when we’re in Anglesea, staff, food and beer are lovely. Great place to walk down to the estuary from as well. Highly recommend πŸ‘

Stopped here for food while on holiday. The food was excellent, staff were friendly and it was a lovely looking place. It was extremely quiet though for a Saturday afternoon, only one other couple were eating there at the time but we enjoyed our meal πŸ˜‹

We visited after a day crabbing at Beaumaris. We didn't book, just turned up at around 7.40pm. There is a large car park, but beware, as it is not lit and is very dark when leaving when it's dark outside! They stop serving food at 8 pm. The staff were friendly, the food came quickly and was nice. It is reasonably priced. We were allowed to take the dog in. There is a small play park which kept our 8 year old entertained.

Lost are booking for 7 people. Eventually we got sat next to the pool table in small space. The food was poor Moor fat than meat on steak and lasagne was basically 1 sjeet pasta over dry mince but it was covered in cheese which is all you could taste the only reason we stayed was 2 children were hungry and no where else could fit us in but would honestly never go back or recommend.

Called in for lunch and wasnt any one in although there was activity in the parking area .food on the menu was slightly overpriced for the pub maybe thats why it was quiet .the food we ordered was good and tasty .didnt stay much longer after food only had one drink each with food .very young staff serving food under 18 .they were pleasant enough but this put us of going back again ,the pub lacks love and enthusiasm This place could be a lovely pub ..the views are amazing if you can get past the smell of manure from the local farmer ( didn't bother us as we are also farmers ) It's a shame as I had read good reviews about food and this was correct . Just no atmosphere in the building . Such a shame Its a difficult time for pubs and I wish them all the best .
