We
recently
had
the
pleasure
of
staying
at
this
beautiful
Bed
&
Breakfast
in
Lynton.
From
the
moment
we
arrived,
we
were
made
to
feel
welcome
by
the
warm
and
attentive
hosts,
Richard
and
Robert.
They
are
both
experienced
travellers,
which
has
no
doubt
given
them
a
really
good
understanding
of
how
to
do
hospitality
well.
Everywhere
you
look,
you
see
wonderful
art
they
have
collected
from
around
the
world,
so
the
whole
house
has
a
unique
and
personal
ambience.
Highcliffe
House
is
both
child-free
and
pet-free,
which
really
lends
itself
to
a
peaceful
atmosphere
where
you
can
fully
relax
and
unwind.
After
enjoying
the
complementary
cream
tea,
we
were
shown
up
to
our
room.
The
room
we
chose
was
Kipscombe:
it
was
simply
stunning,
with
elegant
décor,
a
very
comfortable
bed,
and
the
seating
area
offers
breathtaking
views
of
the
coastline.
Breakfast
at
Highcliffe
House
is
a
truly
special
experience.
Guests
are
offered
a
wide
range
of
options,
including
porridge,
a
full
English
breakfast
with
eggs
cooked
to
order,
croissants,
yogurt
with
fruit,
plenty
of
other
choices
-
and
excellent
coffee.
The
food
is
all
locally
sourced
and
freshly
prepared,
and
it
was
absolutely
delicious.
The
bar
is
very
well-stocked
for
spirits
too,
and
Richard
served
us
up
some
excellent
gin
&
tonics
each
night
of
our
stay,
which
really
helped
to
get
the
evenings
started!
Highcliffe
House
is
perfectly
located
for
exploring
the
charming
town
of
Lynton
and
the
surrounding
area.
There
are
a
number
of
good
restaurants
within
walking
distance,
and
the
b&b
is
also
within
easy
reach
of
the
Valley
of
the
Rocks
and
other
popular
tourist
attractions.
Travelling
into
Lynmouth
on
the
funicular
railway
is
a
must.
One
of
the
highlights
of
our
stay
was
eating
at
the
Nartnapa
Thai
restaurant,
inside
the
Cottage
Inn
pub.
The
food
was
incredible,
there
was
a
great
selection
of
beer
and
cider,
and
it's
a
really
pleasant
walk
to
and
from
Highcliffe.
Overall,
it
was
a
fantastic
stay.
The
accommodation
is
superb,
the
breakfast
is
delicious,
and
the
hosts
are
incredibly
welcoming
and
helpful.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
luxurious
and
relaxing
bed
and
breakfast
in
Lynton,
look
no
further
than
Highcliffe
House.
