A fabulous treat while visiting family - an hour in Stermat (no sarcasm). Stermat is fantastic!! An Aladdin's cave of everything for the home and outside. Spent £40 on things I needed (at very reasonable prices) and things I didn't realise I needed. An amazing place that I keep going back to, every time I visit.

I go into stermat Gaerwen about once a month and spend between 50 and £100, but it’s difficult to remember many visits where the majority of the staff weren’t in someway impolite or rude. There are a few helpful people there but I’m going to stop going just because of the rudeness.

As with all stermat stores across North Wales, this is an alladins cave, went in on a Sunday for a pack of screws, came out with a round washing up bowl, 2 oven dishes, 2 kids games, a pogo stick and a swimming noodle, still don't know why I bought the pogo stick but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point 😂😂😂😂

Called in at Stermat Gaerwen today for a few bits. They had exactly what I wanted at a good price. Plenty of choice and quantity available from gardening, building, DIY, homeware, toys. They are always worth a visit, if you cant find it just ask, the staff are helpful and will check stock for you.

Excellent shop for all sorts of things from kitchen to garden, decorating to scented candles, pets, and anything else you can think of. Have shopped there for years.

Absolutely brilliant hardware and garden centre store in Gaerwen, Anglesey. I wish they had a store like this in Birmingham. Could spend most of day around here.

Took back a garden sprayer as it was faulty (no receipt)the gentleman and lady who served me were very helpful and we managed to sort it out but there should of been a supervisor in store on one of the busiest days.felt abit guilty cause I don’t want to get them into trouble as they sorted it out between them and should be praised for their customer service.

Probably the best hardware store on the island. Always has everything I need. Only thing I don't like is you have a credit note if you take anything back for a refund so make double sure you've got the right thing when you purchase as you won't have the money back to go elsewhere to buy replacement. But it's never stopped me shopping there all these years
