    Well worth a visit if you are nearby or not it’s worth a drive. We have come twice in the last 4 days!! All food is cooked to order so the fish comes out as it should, with thin crispy batter. Staff are really friendly and you can tell they have real pride in what they do. Outstanding!!

    Firstly: The food soggy chips covered in black bits, maybe increase the oil temperature a little and maybe drag a strainer through the oil every few batches. Secondly: The atmosphere created by the owner do you always feel the need to stare at people that a little bit different whilst playing whispers with your daughter/niece/gran-daughter? 😳

    Lovely staff, great location. The fish is very obviously fresh and cooked in batter that isn't too greasy, and the chips almost feel like black country chips. Definitely something to do, and sit on the boulders overlooking the water 200 meters away. Can't beat it.

    This is the 2nd visit we've made to this chip shop. The first wasn't brilliant as the queue was over an hour and the chips weren't really up to much. Our 2nd visit was a different story. The queue was still long but not excessive. The food was really good; chips were spot on and my chicken burger was delicious. My wife had scampi which she thought was OK.

    Extremely busy but to be expected on a Friday night. Around a 30-45 min queue. Delicious fish and chips worth waiting for.

    Fantastic with dietary requirements - the girl we ordered from wasn't sure on whether one thing was gluten free so checked with another member of staff, rather than doing what some places do and just guessing! I had a steamed fish (batter isn't GF) with chips and mushy peas. They even had gluten free vinegar and were so careful with my food to avoid cross contamination. Had to queue for a long time as it was busy, but it was well worth the wait.

    First time to this chippy and although we arrived a minute before closing the owner and staff still took all of our orders. I had fish chips and mushy peas and the batter to fish ratio was spot on. Decent portion size and very tasty, would recommend 👍
