Today I decided to visit the really lovely Benllech Beach on Anglesey. As you will see from my pictures the beach is 'a real gem' of the beautiful Anglesey coastline, and I managed to talk to a few dog walkers on the beach; as dogs are allowed at certain times of the year (mostly all year) on certain areas of the beach. :) I have visited Benllech Beach many times before, and in the Summer it is a haven of activity as Benllech itself is a firm family holiday destination favourite! The beach provides lovely views out to sea and it is possible to walk all the way along the beach to Red Wharf Bay, (the neighbouring beach), following the Anglesey Coastal Foot-Path. :) Nearby, there is also a nice beach cafe and beach shop and ice-cream parlour! :) Car Parking is also provided (with Public Toilets) which is Pay and Display for the most part, with free of charge Disabled Bay Parking Areas too! :) 'Why not enjoy Benllech Beach today?' Thank-you for reading my review. Best to You! Carl. :)

Beautiful clean Sandy beach! I would highly recommend spending a day at the beach. Kids loved it, weather was great, although we went by the end of the day and spent very less time, but it was worth it. So surely if you are in Anglesey, I would highly recommend to put this as a one day stop. Parking is available and is on a walking distance.

Benllech is a lovely little coastal village. The sea water is crystal clear. There are lots of local amenities. shops and places too eat. If you want a nice relaxed day at the beach then visit Benllech. I'd recommend visiting for a day or a few days and explore the area.

A great sandy beach to come and enjoy yourself with friends and family. These photos taken at sunrise. Between 1st of October to 30th of April dogs are allowed on the whole beach, between 1st May to 30th September dogs are allowed on one half of the beach.

Benllech Beach beautiful. Lots people were here when I came and I could see why. Lovely stretch of beach with blue clear waters. Children can easily and safely play in the sea here (supervised) as the water is shallow for some distance. The scenery without a doubt is pleasing to the eye.

Beautiful blue flag beach, great for a day out or a little walk. Parts of the beach are not dog friendly during summer months so check the maps. Be careful of jelly fish on shore and when paddling in the sea. Great little place for getting an ice cream or some fresh donuts too!

Been coming to this beach since I was a kid. Many happy memories were brought back when we visited over Easter. One of the best beaches on the island. Was very clean and dog friendly too at the time we visited. Great for families and parking isn’t far away with a nice cafe right on the beach front.

Great afternoon at this quiet and unspoilt beach. Lots of soft sand, small cliffs behind that kept breeze off and also gave perfect "shelves" for storing shoes and beach bags etc. Dog walking area was large and segregation seamed to be mainly adhered to.

Angelsey is a beautiful place to go perfect for sitting and relaxing this beech is perfect for doing just that nice cafe including a shop and just across the road is a small kiosk selling drinks and snacks plus other things you would need to enjoy the sands, the scenery which even in bad ish weather can be very good for taking photographs because of the changing light as seen in my photos below and even then there are children and adults on the beach making the most of it this was the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely be going back for the Third time.

The beach is lovely and clean with plenty of room for everyone. It's a great walk along the beach to the Ship Inn at Red Wharfe Bay.

Beautiful beach. Nice and clean public toilets. 2 ice cream places. Free parking on the road but you have to get there early. Carpark not to badly priced. Just a great place to spend time on the beach.

Was really quiet (we went on a Thursday late afternoon) lovely area, managed to take my pram on the beach. Cute rock pools & nice clean sandy beach. Parking was easy too on the main road by the beach.

Great beach, it's years since I've seen so many different kinds of shells in one place. During summer dogs are still allowed on the beach, just not in the central area. Beautiful view towards Llandudno

Lovely beach, reasonable amount of parking if you come by car but be prepared for a steep walk back up the hill if you travel on foot.A few shops/cafes for refreshments.Good to walk on the sands, some areas restricted for dogs but when the tide is right you can walk round to Red Wharf Bay.Beach seemed very clean

Beautiful sandy beach.. not much on the sea front, but there is a lot of parking on the road as well as a large pay and display car park.. plus free public toilet. A very descent gluten free chip shop up the hill by Tesco... a 3 minute drive .. away.

Sandy beach with rockpools to each side and a little stream running through the middle. The rockpools to the left of the beach are great for crabbing. The beach also has an ice cream shop and staple beach shop.

Very clean beach, nice Welsh Coast Trail just off from the beach itself allows for a great experience. Beach has sandy areas and rocky areas, care should be taken scrambling across as they can be loose. Some very quiet and scenic spots can be accessed across the rocks if the tide allows. Water was a turqoise/green during our stay and looked very clean. No little observed anywhere on the beach. Lot of dogs on the beach (off leash), a dog walkers area by all accounts. Care should be taken with young children.

Lovely views and very tasty fresh donuts from the cabin at the end of the promenade.

A nice beach. Shallow for a good while so kids seemed safe. Yes there's toilets but they were shut on a bank holiday sun afternoon! So if your caught short...no place to go within walking distance.
