Stopped here for tea and cake during a busy Duck Race Saturday. We arrived via the Mine Train so didn’t need to worry about parking. There are however some spaces in the Laxey Wheel car park if you get stuck. We sat inside next to the wheel which was lovely. There weren’t any menus visible anywhere so we just guessed what to have from what we could see behind the counter. After watching a few people come and go, I saw you could ask for a menu from behind the till and it sounds like there is a lot to choose from for lunch and other snacks. The cakes we had were delicious and a very high standard. The service was relatively friendly but just a tad slow. There were bursts of busy periods so this didn’t help. The prices were average for the island.

Lovely place , very friendly staff. Food is excellent and reasonable priced , excellent portions Gorgeous homemade chips Definitely worth a visit , or 2.... 3..... 😁 Jane is lovely, will miss seeing her smiley face everyday

Lovely quiet tea room. Quite a few indoor and outdoor seats available. A pretty extensive menu of snack and lunches served here as well as cakes and afternoon teas.

Great little find, the Mrs got the fish chowder and said it was fantastic, not too pricey and very clean loved it and will definitely return

Awful service everything I asked for was given a no or we are to busy,so disappointed as we try and support all our local eateries,the dogs enjoyed their sausages,but if a worker has problems they should leave them at the door,just being honest,it wasn't just us other people were moaning to us,so disappointed 😐

Cafe is situated next to Laxey wheel and open all year round we visited November and was pleased it was open as the Laxey wheel attraction was closed. Lovely location and surroundings with flowing streams around it. We only had hot drinks day we visited but did see hot food being served to others so couldn't really give a 5⭐ but it looked nice. Friendly staff and good selection of drinks,and hot food.

Lovely little cafe, serving breakfasts to start then mains along with snacks and drinks. Indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a full breakfast with pot of tea and also sausage sandwiches on another visit. Parking beside or very near so easy to get to.

They took out the pancakes menu and that's a shame. Service was really slow even when the place was empty. Place was clean and nice as usual

Really nice tea room next to the Laxey wheel. Good choice of food and snacks with inside and outside seating. Can get very busy.

Don’t waste your money worst vegetarian breakfast I’ve had . Just to top things off it was cold . 🤮

I had a great breakfast here, it was a lovely day so sat out on the terrace. The breakfast was my favourite from my 10 day visit to Isle of Man and the coffee was good too. Staff were friendly. One star knocked off as the toilet wasn't very clean.

Had afternoon tea on Mother's day - lovely! Scones were really good 😊

Lovely place to eat, food is good, my only criticism would be they often run out of a certain food.

Afternoon tea was a nice but sandwiches really small, scones weren't very fresh and cakes seemed to be from a small frozen collection, ok though. Coffee was just filtered and cafe itself was cold inside.

Absolutely awful. Staff were ok but the tuna and mayo sandwich that my sister in law and I had was completely stale, hardly any filling, no butter and cost £5.80 !! Dreadful.

Nice range of food on offer, we had a cuppa as was mid morning but service seemed excellent for all. Surprisingly roomy place too!

Amazing food and friendly welcoming staff, Highly recommend the fish chowder was great and very nice, The homemade burgers are great as well. Will definitely be back in the future.

Everything we ordered from here was delicious and I highly recommend the roasted vegetables with goats cheese. In terms of the menu they have a really good selection of sweet and savoury foods. I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch after visiting the nearby wheel.
