Cleanliness is poor, specific routes and ratings are not clear, and many holds were lose and moved when held. The owner did have good knowledge of climbing and climber skills, but delivers advise very poorly in a cocky aggressive way, his people skills are non-existent. I would never go back.

What a fantastic facility, great for kids and adults of all abilities and the staff are extremely helpfull. However make sure you bring cash or make sure you are able to do a bank transfer as they dont have a card machine.

Its a great place for all ages. Great staff close to town.

My boyfriend bought me a rock climbing experience for my birthday. I've never done rock climbing before and am not physically strong, I just like trying new things and am willing to have a go. Keith's instructions were simple but thorough and he was encouraging and helpful. All the kit is provided, even shoes, so you don't have to bring anything. I did not expect to do very well, I do not have much upper body strength, but I found I was able to get to the top of some of the walls, so I was very pleased. We will certainly try it again and I thought it was a great activity to offer friends who are coming to visit, as it's a great way to bond and have fun.

Keith 'rocks' at 'Hot Rocks'. Keith (the guy in charge) excellent with the kids, making the health and safety speech fun but getting the point across. Lots of fun to be had, a few hours just melted away as we all had so much fun. Lots of different types of wall to climb from the very junior starter walls up to complex overhangs for the more advanced climber. Free WiFi, clean toilet facilities. Tea / coffee available. A good day out.

Nice place, nice people. If you don't know, what to do with your children's energy, just take them there. Let them climb on the walls, it will make them stronger, and tired.

My two boys love it and have been on several occasions. Great way to spend a wet school holiday afternoon. They also have kids clubs.

Took my 8yr old daughter here and we both loved it. Keith was able to build her confidence up really quick and she was climbing to the top in no time. Thanks Keith

Great fun. Nice and relaxed, plenty of walls varying in skill level and loads of options to mix it up and make it harder for yourself as you improve.
