😠 What a horrible practice. It is really difficult to actually get an appointment at all, the receptionists do not care about anything and are incredibly rude and the doctors do not listen to concerns and tend to ignore patient testimony. I do not think I have been at a worse GP yet. People often mention practice, appointment, reception, surgery, service, call, phone, people, receptionist, rude,

It's impossible to get an appointment. I spent 1.5 hours on hold and then when I reached first in the queue, I was cut off. There's zero interest in providing any kind of service. When you visit in person, there are lots of staff sitting behind reception chatting to each other but they ignore patients. I have no idea what they're doing but it doesn't involve answering the phone or checking patients in. A few years ago the practice was much better but since Covid things have gone very downhill and show no signs of improving. Go somewhere else if you can.

Impossible to contact them via phone. Hard to complete e-consultations as it’s only between 9-11am and not available during weekends. It’s to get through when you have work and short lunch break. Had to go A&E twice within a week due to symptoms getting worse and the practice not responding to A&E doctors referrals. Patient care and customer service skills is very poor.

Worst surgery practice in the world, took 35 mins to answer my call even though I was 1st on the list, then when you wish to make an appointment they'll almost always say NO availability call tomorrow only for you to re start this cycle. Receptionist are in my opinion the worst human being on the planet, no empathy, no emotion just cold blooded people. Expect a NO during your call or randomly getting disconnected. If you are sane then avoid this surgery just because of the reception team. You will suffer from STRESS for sure in the aftermath. Not really worth whatever sickness you have is it? Please make a complaint to the ombudsman, Google it and doesn't take long.. otherwise they won't change!!! This is not a reflection on the doctor, they are actually good doctors and good human beings. Not sure if the GPs asked for this kind of obstacles before meeting the doctors or just bad recruitment? The GPs need to band together and sort their reception team and practice. It's been more than a year since covid 19 let things go back to normal and update your service.

Cannot believe tax payer money is going into these peoples pocket. The reception staff are negligent and unhelpful. If there is a minimum standard to which GP front desks should operate, I don't think these lot meet it.

Took my dad in to book an appointment and despite expressing he is unable to call or do video consultants or book online hence coming in, they said they can't book appointments and only when I asked if they truly had nothing in place for vulnerable people who were unable to do that did they say he could walk in for an appointment at the same time they insisted he had to call. I'm genuinely concerned for him and other patients who are elderly or vulnerable.

the service is very very very poor and this isn’t just my opinion, everyone who goes to albion health centre have the same opinion. there are 2 bengali receptionist mangers who are very rude and put the phone down on you and treat you like you’re beggars. and if the receptionist manager is rude then the people who work under her will obviously follow in her footsteps. the few people come to work for reception and treat the patients nicely, leave after a few weeks because of the receptionist mangers. we can’t even make complaints because they won’t give the phone to the practice manager and if you send an email, the email goes through the reception manegers who are the problem, so the email doesn’t get to the practice manager. same goes for letters that are sent. so there is no way to get into contact to make complaints with the practice manager. even the doctors are very rude, they don’t want to give any medication or look at what’s wrong. they don’t even treat the vulnerable people nicely and i think authorities should think about it and close this surgery or hire better people.

For months my mum who has been physically active and had no mobility issue has been calling for strange back pain. we forced our way to get her seen she was brushed of by saying its 'common due old age'. Test was done 3 months ago, we have been chasing for the results. We had enough, changes GP. First appointment with new GP they referred her to the hospital where they carried out the same test that this GP did and discovered there was chance of cancer. More test is being carried out and it is confirmed she has bone cancer and its possible she is now in stage 4. It took the new GP one appointment to realise something was not right. Had Albion refered her to the hospital, we could have been able to control the cancer. This GP needs to be shut down. We will be taking this further

The worst GP in tower hamlets. I have written so many complaints against the admin and receptionist team. The manager doesn’t even understand what training means. He thinks it’s ok to condone all employees to speak however they wish. He dealt with the matter the first time, and after that he didn’t care anymore. Doctor aiyenger, Aliyah, Abdul, Jasmine, the medical secretary the whole team absolutely incompentant. I have had an ongoing issue for over a year, and they did not want to see me and when I went to the hospital the following evening I was put to surgery within a couple of hours. The hospital was in shock that Albion health centre neglected me and did not want to help at all. I have written a very long email to Albion health centre reporting them, and it will be forwarded to NHS England. I believe this surgery should close down, or hire new staff where there is inclusivity and diversity. The receptionist team make sure they defend each other and make sure they look like victims. All the reviews are the same by expressing how poor and disrespectful the team is. So appalling.

The worst ever. They may as well not exist. The business manager needs to pay attention to all these reviews. Just spent 90 mins on hold (the last 40mins I was first in the queue) only for the line to go dead. Genuine question : how am I meant to see my GP?

Albion Health Centre’s most of the receptionist don’t want to respect and listen the patient’s problems, it seems they are providing services freely from their own pockets!! Means they neglect the patients rather than think that’s is patient legitimate right. However, most of the DR Very good. I earnestly request the authorities to investigate this major issue for the paramount interest of the patient.

Would like no stars if I had the opportunity, the place is horrible. The reception staff need a serious restructure have no customer service skills at all. Are rude to patients and act like gatekeepers. I’ve been at the surgery and seen them ignore the phones. @towerhamletshealthwatch. Needs to seriously review this practice.

This gp has worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Everyone I speak to says the same about this GP, worst ever receptionist you’ll ever come across. Especially nasima, shouted at my elderly parents it the most disgusting vile manner, lied to them, she needs to be investigated and fired as soon as possible. I dread walking to into this place knowing how the people working at the reception are. I seen so many patients being shouted at and treated like animals. These receptionist are horrible people. I repeat nasima needs to be fired.

This new receptionist called ‘jasmine’ came to the phone as my mother wanted to speak on behalf of my brother. As my mum explained in her broken english ‘is there anybody bengali’ as she cannot speak english the girl responded ‘i’m not Bengali so try and speak in english’ i then took the phone in shock and said how dare she say that when we live in a multinational country. She then responded saying i can only speak with your mother who has authority to speak on behalf of your brother and i’m sure your mum can speak basic English. She then ended the call and another Bengali colleague by the name Abdullah spoke to my mum and when i tried to file a complaint he was trying to cover for jasmine without understanding how what she had done was wrong. They’re all pathetic losers that have come to work for the NHS without complying with empathy and gratitude. I’m still in awe with that jasmine’s attitude and ignorance with language barrier!

The reception team are very rude and thinks that they all know what they talking about even though they don't know they own policy. They make things up as they go along and when you catch them up making things up that's when they stop talking and actually do what they suppose to do. Keep having to chase them everytime I needed documents from GP. Very Very poor admin.. Only reason I gave 1 star because than I can write the review. Minus 5..

The most awful Gp practice I've visited. The people behind reception are rude incompetent. I was waiting for a post natal review which was separate to the babies one. They booked this without confirming whether the date abd time was OK for me. It's almost impossible to get through to reception. Have been on hold for 1hr only for line to cut off. Wanted an emergency appointment fir 3 week old baby to see GP only to be told to go to A&E for a non A&E issue. Please do yourselves a favour and do not register here especially 8f you have newborn baby. The only positive experience I e had is with Dr Iyengar and the nurses. The service can definer be impr8ved please management do something about your poor admin staff.

Getting an appointment is near enough impossible. I’m confused as to why they only do on the day appointments and you can’t book in advance. I’ve waited nearly an hour on the phone to then be told no appointments are available and to do an online consultation which sometimes takes a week to get an appointment booked it. Gave it 2 stars as when I do see the doctors they are very helpful.

Doctors are alright, been going there since a young age. There is a male receptionist who helps but has no patient service skills whatsoever. Doesn’t even give name when you call and just seems to hang up without saying bye. Some other receptionists are like that but less rude. As a person who used to work in NHS, I find it appalling that these people are allowed to run the practice. Shameful.

Have been with this GP for maybe 20 years and the service seems to get worse every year. The GPs themselves are really good - the reception staff and management are abysmal. Overall a poorly managed practice and I see the same faces working behind the counter every year. Maybe it’s time to get rid of them all and get more competent staff. Everything is delayed with this practice, whether it’s getting your arranged phone consultation on time or getting a letter from the GPs secretary. They say one thing, but never deliver on time.

I usually always get great service from the surgery, specifically from Abu who always keeps me informed with what’s going on with my appointments and is attentive to my requests. I needed to see a DR urgently & although the surgery was fully booked, I got booked in for out of hours appointment. I got a full consultation with a Dr and antibiotics for my pain the same day I called. Incredible service from Abu for getting me exactly what I needed - saved me lots!

Update: When you miss calls from a doctor for telephone appointments they don't leave a direct number for you to call them back on so you have to call the surgery again and request another call. This is extremely frustrating when you are trying to get urgent help for your young child and we all know being a parent means you can't be glued to your phone especially during nap times. It's not as bad as some other reviews I've seen. However whenever I've requested an afternoon telephone appointment they always do a morning one and I miss the call. Also it takes a while to actually get an appointment in the first place. On the plus side the GPs and nurses I've seen so far have been good overall. However once I tried to get a referral for my baby when he was 3 months for a tongue tie surgery and was told it would take up to 4 weeks after going through many hoops. In the end had to go private. Really not the worst GP surgery I've ever experienced but could definitely be improved.

Always been nice to me, I don't think it's fair that they get bad reviews. Receptionists work hard and doctors have always been available via e-consult, on the phone or for in-person appointments. Building is a bit old and dirty but this isn't anyone's fault - the staff are polite and helpful and I think it's a good dr's surgery.

👍👍 I cannot recommend heartily enough this surgery, I left my previous surgery of 20 years due to them going down hill. From the moment you enter, all staff are polite, helpful and listen to you. 😠 I have been attending this GP since I was 9/10 years old. I am now now 25 years old. I can confidently say that the service has truly gone down. At some point there has been a change in management.
