This is the best place I’ve eaten at in all of London. Seriously run, don’t walk, to come here. The sole proprietor is so nice and the food is incredible. Would absolutely come back here time and time again. We had the pork belly salad, turmeric chicken with rice, and gluten free tagline.

Personable and exceptionally friendly owner / chef / server. + Food refreshingly different twist on some classics + Vegan and Veggie mainly throughout + All hand made furniture by the owner makes it feel authentic Nice to see a proper local open. If you are busy or expecting fast food don’t come here as it’s perfect place to take your time and switch off.

I stopped by here on a whim with my son. It's an adorable little spot near Essex station. The food was simply FABULOUS!! The attention to detail and quality was simply bar none! The breads are all made on site. The focaccia with the apple and cinnamon topped with ice cream is simply divine! We ordered the Truffle turkey with eggs and mushrooms and the Spanish Tortilla. The turkey dish was so delicious that my son who doesn't like mushroom ate it all! The pan tomate was really fresh and garlicky and a great compliment to the Spanish Tortilla. Really excellent food. Portions are on the large side. Vegan options available and they even make their own vegan cheese! I took home the brownies and they are cooked just slightly soft so the middle simply melts in your mouth! The space itself while small is warm and inviting. The owner is the nicest guy and really passionate about what he does. I simply can't wait to come back

The food quality was great and price was reasonable. I'd recommend the tumeric chicken with rice. As it's just a one-man band, it took over half an hour for our food to be served.

Delicious food! Everything is cooked to order and tastes really good. The space is small so can get quite busy on weekends.

We the octopus, chicken with rice, bake rice and seafood stew - everything we tasted was so good with prices between £11-18 per dish (pretty affordable). On top of that, the tap beer was fantastic - be sure to order a pint when you are here!

You’ll have to be patient if you come here - Service and food is slower than most restaurants but boy is it worth it. My partner had the spiced scrambled egg which he liked. I had the Truffle Turkey with mushroom and fried egg and it was absolute perfection, everything from the Turkey to the egg to the mushrooms and the sourdough is just out the world. Interior is cosy and very well thought out. Owner is also very friendly and hospitable, I will definitely be back soon.

Best food in London!!! Hosted by its spanish owner, Ovidi, this is a small and cozy restaurant with amazing food. Do not hesitate to try the octopus, the lamb, or if you are lucky, the best cheescake you have ever tasted.

It’s simply the best Spanish food we’ve eaten in London. Must try the black pudding and octopus dishes.

Super nice little tapas bar. The owner Ovidi is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, especially the homemade items such as vegan cheese, bread and olives! Highly recommended. We’ll be back

A place you wish you had next door to yours so that you can always enjoy amazing authentic food with homely feel. You forget you’re in London, it feels and tastes like Spain. The owner is a wonderful warm person, feels as if we’ve visited a friend. Thanks so much !!!

It was a one-person show when we visited, thus service suffered. Took our drink order 30min after sitting, received drinks 15 minutes later. Food arrived over an hour into being there. We noticed guests were not served in the order they were seated. Food was good, but not good enough to assuage our frustration. Could have been an off day, but I’m not inclined to try again and confirm.

Went there with friends. Didn’t have a reservation but the owner was very courteous and found us a spot to eat. We had delicious variety of food with excellent service. At the end of our meal, he offered us some homemade dessert that was so delicious! Highly recommend this place.

This little place is a must visit! The food was very very good quality, we especially loved the croquettes and cheesecake. But what made it even more special was the personal touch. The chef talked to us and asked for our opinion, the waiter was kind, and it felt like we were the guests at their home :)

Absolutely incredible spot. They hosted my best friends and I for a dreamy birthday lunch that we will never forget! Everything was delicious. The monkey bread is to die for! And such a beautiful ambiance inside. I’d recommend Delaterra to anyone in a heartbeat.

Such a lovely cafe! The owner was so kind and nice and the coffee was great, not to mention his bread! I will definitely stop by whenever I come to this neighborhood!

Came for dinner and ordered the lamb stew, croquettes, turmeric chicken, octopus and black pudding. The food was so savoury and delicious - everything cooked and seasoned to perfection! The chef was running the whole operation, was so friendly, and the wait wasn’t too long for the food either. Would definitely come back!!

Absolutely stunning. Still dreaming about the truffle turkey on toasted sourdough with mushroom cream sauce & truffle egg. Definitely coming back

The food, prepared by a chef from the Middle East of Spain, made me feel as if I had travelled to Spain. I will be back.

As someone who works in industry this is now one of my favourite places to eat in London the quality to the price is exceptional, the coffee is spectacular, the space has a very homely atmosphere, considering it one very well experience chef whos worked at a number of amazing restaurants running the operation its incredible to see them at work!

Little Spanish gem in Angel. Owner passionate about his food, and rightly so! Everything is delicious. Highly recommend the tortilla, gazpacho (when in season) or mushroom soups.

Fantastic place! Cannot recommend them enough. When we first arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was extremely welcoming. We bought two drinks and in the time that we were there, he offered us some free sweet and savoury tapas. He even gave us some delicious free slices of a sweet olive oil, brown sugar and rosemary sourdough to take home. The food we tried was absolutely delicious and the drinks were really lovely too. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly too. We'll be back again next week. Only a few minutes down from Essex road station and a 5-6 minute walk away from Upper Street. Forget all the chains around. Don't hesitate to visit this gem! You will not be disappointed.

It was our first time visiting and we ordered not much, but things tasted good. Loved the rustic interior with an accent on wood, also housing plenty of plants. Finally, prices were pleasantly surprising (at least for London).

It's my first time in here so to premature to say right but for what's It's worth! I love rustic decor I ordered oat latte stated for it to be extra extra hot which was as requested I was also given a piece of sweet sourdough bread for free!! It was a nice gesture. Over all I will visit this place again.

When we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner. He was friendly and suggested a few dishes to try (one of them were even outside the menu). It was delicious and quite friendly. I would recommend, if you are nearby.

My hubby and I adore this place. Everything we have tried has been delicious and it is the kind of good food that makes you feel warm and cozy inside. Do not miss out on this!!

A lovely space, good music, kind and friendly service, not to mention absolutely amazing food. Such a find. Best brunch I've had in the area and much more chill than most of the chaotic places nearby. Perfect for taking yourself out for a restorative treat.

Went here for brunch. Great coffee, great food and the best hospitality you can ask for. They were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The decor is nice to sit and relaxing in, would definitely come again.

Really nice food and drink there, super fresh and tasty. Service was slow considering we were the only people there for a small part of our stay. Otherwise great
