Run away! This is nearly the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. I called around noon to confirm that we would be able to check in late around 2 am. They said no problem. I had booked a superior room with ensuite bathroom. When we got there, the desk guy couldn't find our reservation, despite me pulling up the confirmation on our phone. He then tried to put us in the world's tiniest room WITHOUT A BATHROOM. It had a shared bathroom down the hall. Not what we booked. So after explaining that it wouldn't work, he put us in a "suite" in some sort of ramshackle dungeon they have on the outside of the building. The room smelled strongly of mold and some other foul undertone. Because it was 2 am, we didn't have much choice. The carpet was stained and damp. The sheets were damp as well. The place was so disgusting. The whole place was dingy and smelly (not just our room). I cannot believe the decent reviews this place has. Absolutely awful awful experience. Stay away.

Much of the information on this hotel is stretches the truth. We made the mistake of booking for over two weeks without seeing the place and the owners refused to negotiate us leaving earlier or refund. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING until you have looked around the place. The rooms are quite small and either face a busy noisy road or the back courtyard where you get cigarette smoke in your windows (no air-conditioning) noise and blinking lights until 2:30am or later. You have to turn the lights off to change clothes as the blinds don't work. The hotel is at least 30 mins by tube from Leicester Square. There are steep steps up to street level from the tube which makes moving suitcases very difficult. The tube is 600m from the hotel along a fairly uneven footpath. A bus to the centre of London takes at least 45mins. Also the area is not pleasant with plenty of unsavoury people hanging about beer cans in hand. I could never recommend this hotel.

Well I tell you how someone from this hotel called Andy gets his jollies. You apply for the job on Indeed then weeks after you had applied for the position you get an email from this Andy guy telling you how impressed he is with your CV and how much he wants to setup a time for a phone call. Then you email back this guy the next day telling him of course great I'm interested too and you never hear from this guy again. If you are not interested why do you make employees waste their time? You think because you are an employer your time is the only time that is valuable? For people that is looking for work, looking for work is already a job so if you really are not interested and that's fine but don't make employees waste their time. Job reported on indeed too. UPDATE, check this out after a month of this review this Andy guy sent me an email yesterday the same email that he sent me a month ago about how interested he is about speaking with me because he loves my CV, I responded back that I'm not interested not in that exact words but anyway and I have a response about he was just looking for the right people and blah blah blah , that he has already filled the position if that's true why email me again yesterday after a month? I'm really glad actually I didn't get the job this Andy guy is really sick.

So my friends, who I helped them to find that place, went las Wednesday 10 October there, and by mistake the Hotel canceled their booking so they decided give them other rooms but paying more money that what they did in first time. The hotel did not help them in anything, not taking the responsibility and forcing them to pay a new room or just leave. They did the cancelation no my friends. I am posting that because they are Spanish, but we will claim them for sure. However it's fair enough that is known for everyone before you book with them. London is really expensive and buzzy if something like that happens it's really difficult find a plan B more when you are 4 /6 people.

Disgracefully rude and unhelpful staff, decided to leave and not stay the night due to their generally unwelcoming attitude. Being told that ID was compulsory as "the police often need to know who stayed" was also a warning sign. Strongly recommend you avoid.

Excellent and clean rooms, situated to a walking distance from the train station, with lots of shops and restaurants near by. Great value for money helping us achieve a budget friendly stay. We had a really nice time being guests here and we will definitely return soon.

**Comprehensive Review** This place is at best a low 3 star hotel, not sure why it’s suggested at 4 star. **Good** location. **Bad** I was refused check in for 2 hours as they had a problem with payment from the 3rd party vendor we used to book. Room was a nightmare to sleep in even though it was the most expensive studio room. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable and there were no curtains in the room so it flooded with light which disturbed sleep. Heater is always on which makes the air dry and hard to sleep. Bed squeaks with the slightest movement. Honestly not worth it, it will kill your sleep and consequently the rest of your waking day. Not to mention if you’re lucky enough to get good service.

The place is a little walk away from manor house underground station. Note that you have to climb stairs from the station so remember that if you have luggage. The hotel also has stairs. We got put in a room in the basement. Really feels like a dungeon. The room was tiny, had a smell and the toilet was not the cleanest. The room has a kitchenette but you have to pay to use it so not much point. The electric kettle was not clean, we didn't dare to use it. The room is cleaned everyday but towels not replaced. There are two bottles of water complimentary but only on the first day. Again, not replaced. It is quite disappointing. I would probably not stay here again.

Lovely place! Our room was a good size, and had good amenities. Slept so well, comfy bed. The bath plug slowly let the water out, but I really enjoyed my stay here so still giving 5 stars as not a major issue. Reception staff lovely and welcoming, plus food arrived promptly and was tasty. Found free parking in a nearby street, so that was convenient. Would definitely recommend, and would happily stay there again if I am in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Old room with burnt carpet, paint covered water damage mark on walls, no space for move in the room, due to small room size. No Air Conditioning! On top of every thing, it was going under remodeling and construction during my two night with wet paint and smell of it, ripped carpet and loose screws and nails in hallway.

Nice place, the room is small but comfortable, clean and luminous. The kitchen is complete of all accessories, from electrical oven, to microwave oven. All staff is available for all needs. The location is strategic, with bus and tube within few minutes.

I really enjoyed my stay in United Londge Hotel. The room was clean and comfy. The location was great, next to a park and very close to restaurants, super market and the metro/tube station Would def stay again.

Wow, what a fantastic experience. I visited here recently and was happily surprised. The place had it all. I took a chance after reading the old reviews, but in all honesty I'm not sure what the previous comments from a few years ago were about. So I decided to call them and have a chat and decided to book. And what a pleasant surprise. I did not see any issues and was looked after from the phone call all the way through to checkout, making it clear o me that this is a well run and professional family run hotel. Andy and Alessia were on hand to advise and settle us in throughout our stay. The housekeepers were smiling and happy and generally there was a warm and happy feeling to the place. The checkin was seamless and remote, with the team on hand to assist me with any queries I had. The pricing (for London) for was spot on and in a great location of zone 2. Meaning I could get to central London in 15 minutes from Manor House station. The room was clean, quiet, bright, dark at night, with a good quality hybrid mattress that allowed us to have a good deep sleep. A bonus were the many nice restaurants, cafes and shops nearby and the Finsbury Park right opposite us, so I could go for my morning workouts up the hills and in the outdoor gym there. The visitors at the place were fun too. On one night we had dutch people visiting the Arsenal FC game, the other night these cool people for a concert at Alexandra Palace, and a group of trainers for some sessions in the park! And so nice to see families around too. This truely is a hidden gem and one of the few genuine family run hotels in town. I'll be back with my family and friends for sure and support these guys in their journey. Thanks again al!!!

I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were cozy, and the overall experience was excellent. I'm already looking forward to my next visit
