After having a potential cancerous mole removed. I was completely ignored by Harley Street Healthcare. After paying £1000 + for this service, you would assume a bit more customer service? Think again. Would not recommend, please avoid - at all costs.

I am really disappointed by the service I received from the clinic. After my initial consultation I had a few important queries which were not discussed at my initial consultation and when I tried calling the receptionist I was told someone would get back to me. After numerous calls and emails no one got back to me. A few weeks later after I sent an emailing complaining about my experience, someone responded to me but then I had no response again. I called the clinic and spoke to three different people who said someone would get back to me and no one still has a few weeks later. Absolutely appalled, especially considering how much I paid for the service. I would not recommend.

The most rubbish and unprofessional clinic I have ever seen in Harley street ! They should be professional then know how to talk to patients. Made an appointment for my daughter got in there then the pricing director wanted to price me first before I see the doctor. She was soooo unprofessional!! Smelling of cigarettes, chewing gum, lighter in her hand then she didn’t even know what she was talking about. Calling all the co workers to tell them what happened. Despite I waited a month for a reply. They just want money. 0% staff knowledge 0% customer service All they talk about is money without seen patient

AVOID THIS PLACE - had to rate one star in order to post my review. If i could have chosen zero stars I would. Had an appointment booked 06/09/22 for a small mole removal on the side of face. I decided to come here as it wasn’t far to travel and they could fit me in within a few days of calling. I wish I had read the reviews before going! For starters they were over running by at least 45 mins, only after sitting down for about 10 mins did they inform me of this. When the doctor eventually called me for the consultation I had to wait in the room for a further 10 mins, a young lady kept coming in apologising to me for the wait and that the Doctor would with me any minute! When the Doctor did turn up, I was probably with her for no more than 3 mins before she left saying a lady will come give me a “price” which I thought was strange as numerous times I kept on hearing “if you happy with the price” On their website for a mole removal it clearly states from £290 so when I was presented with the price at £1,319 I nearly fell off my chair. How could they have upped the price so much on such a small mole! I left shortly after but not before saying they are time wasters that are deceiving potential patients with their unrealistic prices and that their website needs to be updated! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY. Best to go somewhere else.

I went for an initial surgical consultation for a lipoma removal. The website states that it’s starts from £295 with a very vague and unspecific disclaimer of “Please note prices depend on the complexity of the procedure and will be determined at your consultation”. I arrived promptly on time for my consultation in which the dermatologist saw me 45 minutes late without an apology and this is supposed to be private healthcare. At my consultation, the doctor firstly insists I have scans/investigations despite explaining I have already had this checked by a GP and therefore the diagnosis is very clear and therefore further scans were not warranted. The manager pulls open a book revealing a more in-depth price breakdown according to very specific and clearly defined x-y measurement/size of the lipoma. This full breakdown of the cost is not advertised on their website. This is misleading as I was forced to pay a large initial consultation fee for a 5 minute chat (45min late), despite not knowing beforehand through a lack of transparency that the surgical procedure would not be financially feasible for me and therefore wasting my money and time on an initial consultation. If it was transparent from the start that the price is dependent on a size measurement then it helps patients to make an informed decision on affordability and not bother or waste their money with an initial consultation. I saw Dr Ramia Mokbel. To make things worse, she did measure my Lipoma. Instead, she brought in the manager into the consultation room to measure the Lipoma In order to give me the price breakdown. It is not clear to me if the manager was clinically qualified to do this and I do not understand why a clinically qualified doctor did not do this instead. She only palpated my lipoma then insisted the manager to measure them for a cost analysis for a surgical removal. The website should give a clearer indication of the price range. It’s only states on the website that the prices start from £295. At my consultation, it was revealed to be approximately £4,500. I had tried to explore local options by calling the clinic several times and requesting a call back from a manager. I was informed by an assistant over the phone that a manager will call me back by the end of the day. Unfortunately I had waited till 9PM and did not receive a call back, despite chasing up several times throughout the day. The very next day I spoke to an administrative staff named Usuf. I expressed my concern on not being able to receive a call back from management. He Informed me that a manager is working today in the clinc and forwarded me a number to call the manager but warned me that they may not pick up calls today because it is a Sunday, despite working and advertising on Google that they are open on a Sunday. I called the number provided several times; however there was no response. I decided to waste a journey by travelling into the clinc; only to find out once I arrived that no members of staff were available, which is contrary to what Usuf had advised me. I later called him back, and he had denied advising me about the above. I had to call him back using a mobile phone from a member of staff of a neighbouring bloods investigation department/service because my calls were no longer connecting with him, which suggests he may have blocked my number. Terrible service.

I was apprehensive reading some of these reviews before my appointment today, but went ahead. 96 is on the 2nd floor of the building, with a ground floor secretary. After climbing up a spiral staircase I came across somewhat friendly staff. Did not have to wait too long to be seen. Signs all over the place to remind (I'd say more, 'update') patients that a consultation price was £249. Anyway I briefly spoke to the doctor about removing a tiny lump on my jaw/neck line, for around 5/10 mins, mostly analysing an ultrasound I brought in to help with steps forward. I don't feel the communication with the doc went all that well. In theory, you're paying to see a doctor but really, at this place I felt, it's all just about being carted off to discuss prices 'with the manager' as quickly as possible. Though Ill admit, she was a laugh, we had banter, but the price for the procedure was just too far off what was advertised on the site, appearing reasonable, and so attractive. Just for a one off consultation, at a fee of £249, I wouldn't recommend. When something appears too good to be true, it usually is.

I had a consultation with Dr Mokbel just over 3 weeks ago. She removed a mole and sent it for biopsy. The consultation itself was good. Dr Mokbel was very knowledgable and efficient and the removal of the mole went smoothly. However, the reason I cannot give a good review is due to the absence of follow up since the appointment. I have not received my biopsy results for over 3 weeks. I have emailed the clinic 4 times over the past week but noone has even acknowledged my emails let alone responded to them. I have also called and left messages with the receptionist, but again no one has called or emailed me back. I’m very surprised given the dermatology clinic’s reputation and the cost of using its services. I had gone to the dermatology clinic to avoid the 2 week wait for a hospital appointment on the nhs but given the 3 week plus wait for the biopsy results it was probably the wrong call. If anyone from the clinic is reading this I would really appreciate a response to my emails / calls and the biopsy results. Thank you.

AVOID. MISLED ABOUT PRICING. TEAM UNPROFESSIONAL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM Have just left the Harley St clinic incredibly disappointed and upset. The whole outfit comes across as very unprofessional. From 'Pauline' on the booking line who on first calling me introduced herself by first name. I then had to ask who she was and from where. She then continually called me 'love' or 'darling' and quoted me a price. I arrived at the clinic to find out this was wrong and after consultation with the surgeon (Mokbel who I finally saw 45 minutes after my booked time with no apology). Mokbel was herself, abrupt, unfriendly and I was made to feel like I was on a hurried production line. After her pinching a couple of my lipomas I was ushered into a room where a 'director' would talk pricing. It all just seemed to be about money with her. When I explained the price lie the two 'directors' then had a conversation right in front of me about how they were fed up with 'Pauline' and how she was getting fired for misleading me. (They told me this wasn't t the first time she has done this) For info Pauline quoted me £395 to remove the first four lipomas 'with a discount for any additional'. I was then quoted £1295 per lipoma at the actual consultation. I believe I was deliberately misled to get me in the door. Reading other reviews on here I am not alone.

Waited for one hour more than my allocated appointment time. The clinic was extremely suffocated with no ventilation, very stressful atmosphere. The doctor didn’t ask me what the problem she just wrote something down quickly without asking anything then I went to go get the medication but it’s not available anywhere in the UK. I will Be reporting this place to GMC and everyone else should. Pure business they don’t care about your health.

I scheduled myself for a consultation and the person that I spoke to was very unprofessional, hostile, and made me feel uncomfortable. He asked to send me pictures over the chatting platform that we were using at the time, and tried diagnosing me without consulting a doctor first. This was the first red flag for me. Then, I decided to still go ahead with the services considering that had a really good rating on Google. So I paid my money and they scheduled me to see one of their "Doctors". On the day of my surgery, the Doctor took a holiday and they didn't inform me prior. This is when i realised that Harley Street Healthcare act as an individual service, with regards to referring clients to Doctors that they aren't directly connected/hired with them. Ultimately, when I asked for a refund, they replied that I can only get 50% of my money back. Please Please Please do not use this service. If you have to pay additional, do so. Go to a clinic where a certified surgeon can consult you and give you the best advice possible. These guys are just looking for a money grab.

The doctors knew what they were talking about, however I felt uncomfortable with how much they insisted on me coming back right away for surgery even though it was just an initial consultation. On top of that the expensive pricing of the surgery was already set even though I still had to do further analysis to determine what exactly needed to be done. Sentences like "better safe than sorry" are not really professional either.

Avoid. Very small operation and they cannot handle the capacity. There’s barely space to wait. Was made to wait an hour even though I had an appointment, and then a patient collapsed in the surgical room - the doctor herself kept saying “I’m sorry, oh, I’m sorry”. Was totally panicked and they were all calling 999. Does not inspire confidence and once I knew an ambulance had been called for the patient, I left along with other people who were waiting for appointments. Terrible.

I had a really poor experience at this clinic and would advise you to read other reviews and consider carefully your choices. I went as I was worried about a couple of moles. I felt pressurised to have a biopsy on two of them which would have cost over £2,000. I sought a second opinion which revealed I didn’t need the expensive treatments I had been strongly encouraged to take- which would have left me out of pocket and with unnecessary scars. I emailed multiple times to get a copy of my patient notes (which is your legal right) with absolutely no reply - which appears a common theme in the reviews. I would not recommend using this service - if you have issues with Moles there are more specialist and reputable clinics in central london.

Fantastic service and team. Did my research and read all reviews and absolutely delighted with the results. Some teething issues but they sorted them out. Main thing is the density they got was superb. Highly recommend.

Absolutely appalling service. Booked a specific lab test for a set price and confirmed it with the appointments team that there will be no extra fees unless I need a prescription or further treatment. Attended the appointment 3 weeks ago, they wanted to charge for a consultation and charge me extra for the test which altogether would have been almost double the price agreed over the phone before the appointment. Now 3 weeks has passed with no follow-up whatsoever. After multiple calls, they sent the results for a completely different lab test which I have never requested at all and still no results for the requested test. Scammers. I called today to make a complaint and "no one is available".

The appointment was easy to make and I felt that my needs were being taken into consideration throughout my journey at this clinic. The care I received was definitely patient led. The team ensured that the appointment reflected my needs and that I was able to lead the direction. I felt my details and data was handled sensitively and I felt that my data was protected. Every step was explained, I felt that the team were very responsive and I was very impressed with the level of service. The team are very caring and ensured that I was safe and heard all the way through. I felt that the team were very well organised and kept me updated. The team ensured that I was supported through the process and that appointments met my needs. I would highly recommend the team and can’t say enough that their person centred, individualised care led approach gave me a confidence unparalleled to any other clinic I’ve visited.

PLEASE AVOID 96 HARLEY STREET. I have a small Cysc on my head which I want to remove. I called Harley street and spoke to the manager who told me that it would cost me £249 to be removed. I made sure to confirm with that it will not cost me more and he said " if you come in and have the procedure done straight away they will they will waive the consultant few. I went and spoke to the doctor for less than 5 mins and then I was told that the procedure will cost me £2500. In the end I had to pay 249£ for absolutely no reason. I tried to explain to the manager that I wasn't told that information and if I was told that information I would have seek help elsewhere, he told me I should have read the fine print and I have to pay or else. In the end they got me real good and I feel like such a fool. I'm not a wealthy person and this experience has broken me but I have faith that I'll get over this. Those people are very wicked and evil. The look in that manager's face is nothing but evil. His day will come

I came to the clinic to remove a lipoma I can honestly say the patient care was the most amazing I have ever experienced. As a extremely anxious person they were able to calm me and completely explained the procedure which may I add was pain free and fast. The professionalism was fantastic and yet they cater to you as an individual and treat you with absolute care. The staff as a whole were incredible. The treatment was brilliant. Hakeem was great, explained the procedure, answered my questions & booked me in. I was looking to get my hair transplant carried out in turkey due to it being cheaper but I am absolutely made up I didn’t. When I went for my transplant pre op they done my obs & discovered that my blood pressure was high, this I feel I would never have found out if I had gone to turkey. I would highly recommended 👍

I am so pleased with this clinic. Same day appointment and treatment. It was really amazing. The customer service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The staff are all nice, and with Dr. Asim I just got super lucky, she's amazing. The aftercare was very good, I went back to the clinic after 3 days because I thought something was wrong, but Dr. Asim explained everything to me, cleaned and put new bandages on the wound, and it was all good. Got the stitches removed without any problem. The wound looks amazing and I'm just super happy my long ongoing problem is gone! Thank you all so much. Would really recommend!

My husband and I came here. Firstly, the wait time here is crazy. We waited almost 45 minutes after our actual appointment time to see the doctor. Secondly, the consultation felt really rushed, it lasted about 10 minutes in total and most of it was standing. It almost felt like the doctor was sending us away to do other things. As a doctor myself, I just know she missed a lot of important history that my husband could have provided had he been listened to and although I’m content with the diagnosis she gave, I still feel somewhat cheated because we paid £279 for something I could have told him myself. Not worth going if you want a detailed consultation

I had an incredibly positive experience at this clinic on Harley Street. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. I went in for mole removal and was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and care provided by the doctor and staff.

The doctor I saw was actually fine and did an OK job, but the place is run like a drive-through. I paid over £2k for something that took them half and hour to do. I'm still waiting (now over a week) for them to send me a letter to give to my insurance company for reimbursement, something I was assured I'd get in three days. I wouldn't have got the surgery if I knew I'd be forced to pay out of pocket.

I found the experience really good.The full team were great from start to finish. They put me at ease straight away. Hakeem was good he always got back to me straight away and answered all my questions .

After ages going back and forth with my GP I came to the Harley Street Healthcare clinic for verrucas that came up in severe clusters. Appointment was made within 48hrs to see Dr Mokbel who advised on the treatment options available and then carried out the surgery on the same day. Staff seemed very polite and professional and they were very helpful I noticed even to other clients there when anything was raised. Happy to recommend them and return here for anything in the future.

Supportive staff and careful procedure.  I am pleased with my hair transplant; the procedure went very well. I have been very insecure since I first began noticing balding spots on my head, and it took a lot of courage to finally do the transplant. I was in the hands of skilled professionals, everything went very well, thank you.

It was important for me to find a clinic close to home and, most importantly, that the price was not too high. I was looking for a short time, a housemate, recently did a hair transplant for herself and advised me this particular clinic. The staff was highly commended. I immediately called the managers, they answered me politely and invited me to an initial consultation, after which we agreed on the price and day of the operation. Everything went just super, now I have no complexes

I'm only 3 weeks post hair transplant. I'm really happy with the service I've received both pre and post 'op'. If I have any questions, I just message them and they're quick to reply. I travelled to Manchester and not all the way to Turkey too... bonus 👍 plus, the cost was better than what I thought it would be. So far so good.
