Brothers Grimm is a really cool store in the sense of the items in stock and some of the Warhammer items they receive. I find some of the Pokemon and Video Games really cool. My boyfriend and I have been in there multiple times, and its cool to see some of the items in there. But it's difficult to give them a good review because I feel like Brothers Grimm is sorta unwelcoming. The staff can be rude and cold depending on the staff that's there. Many staff members have a habit of blowing off guests coming in and out of the store and don't seem interested in assisting anyone since they tend be more involved with the card players and when there's a tournament going on. If you're clearly more involved with the card players then the casual customer, it may result in these customers never returning, and scare them off. Some of the staff can be completely rude.. My boyfriend and I were in there recently and when he asked to see a game from the case, the employee said "No, the guy who handles the video games isn't here so you have to wait for another day to see the game you want." I get that they can have specific staff members handling certain items in the store, but that's not a good business practice as essentially you're setting a tone to customers about the priorities of you business. I understand Brothers Grimm targets card players (i.e magic players), and that's what gets them a profit, but if customers are interested in alternate items in your store, staff should be more open to accommodating their needs.

It's an eh store. Would rather spend my money else where. Items are overpriced and can be found cheaper else where. Staff has changed, which is great because there used to be one guy who would just sit there, read comics and if you asked if they had something he would say did you see on it the shelf? No? Then we don't, with out even looking up from the comic he was reading. Would rather take the time and drive a little further to some place like east end.

So, this place has a fair selection of content to browse and buy. MTG, D&D, Warhammer -- there's a good bit to look at, but that's not the problem. Problem's how they treat customers and guests. I've gone with my friend group a couple of times, sometimes for MTG tournaments or buying minis, and while the staff aren't very helpful in general, they're pretty unfriendly to new players. On top of that, the store and staff are not welcoming to women. Like, at all. It's almost creepy levels of misogyny; the place itself, the staff, and a fair bit of their community too. It's sad because it's now the nearest open game store to us, but as a group, we'd really rather not go back.

This is a good place for video games and retro consoles and games and card based games. Th hey are the combination of Bro grim card game store and the Play and Trade video game store from Bayshore. Well Worth the pass by!

The first time I went there like a few years ago, I remembered the place was crowded at night. I had no idea, and just left. The second time I went, I bought a set of Vocaloid cards (upper right corner)because it was my favorite fandom. This time, I came back again to buy single Pokemon tcg cards and a Hatsune Miku card sleeves (upper left corner). There were some good stuff if you're into Pokemon and anime. I'm more likely to come back again if I feel the mood to collect more cards.

Place is ok. Alot of everything for everyone. Went to bring my yugioh for evaluation and price. Wwwaayyyy too low then I'm expecting. Know the worth of them and not close to what I'm expecting. Beside that it's an ok store just don't know how I feel about selling my cards there.

What a great place for all things nerdy and niche interest. You can find Dungeons & Dragons merch, collectible video game merch, and playing cards from all the popular TTPCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic The Gathering. They have a great collection of D&D minis for purchase, both painted and unpainted! They've even got dice made of actual rare stone! They have entire sections dedicated to card games, D&D books, and video games respectively. Trust me you'll find what you're looking for here. Furthermore they have tables for people to hangout and play whatever card games they are into and also tables for people to play their preferred TTRPGs. You can even attend TTPCG tournaments and TTRPG games that are open to people to sign up for. Just ask the staff! The staff is really knowledgeable about everything they have in the store so you can be sure they can give you the info you need. Great store with a lot of great merch and friendly staff!
