The experience was excellent. They were nice and accommodating. They were even gentle on a cotton swab. On the other hand, obtaining my paperwork for me to make a flight, seemed to pose a problem for them. I ended up missing my flight, and having to reschedule, that was a great inconvenience. Other than that, they are wonderful.

This is the last time I will ever visit the Lindenhurst location. The lack of decorum reflected by the front desk staff upon my visit was noteworthy. There was an obese African American lady at the billing desk who was cackling from whatever was so hilarious in front of a waiting room full of (sick) patients. The idle chatter was unnecessarily and endlessly heard by all in the waiting area. I am from the inner city and grew up poor, and am accustomed to coming across the usual variety of clowns and socially awkward people working front desks, but the particular staff present on the day that I visited was absolutely ratchet and ghetto. Yes, I used those terms. Yes, I am a minority. The icing on the cake was when I exited the examination room and politely questioned the aforementioned employee and was met with a look of annoyance and received a question for an answer. The convo went like this: Me: Sorry to interrupt, but should I sit and wait for billing? Obese billing employee: Yes?? Me: Sits for 15 minutes while these front desk employees continue to discuss personal banalities out loud. Me: Asks the front desk whether a bill is being prepared or if I can expect one to be mailed. Front desk employee: It will be mailed. I would encourage management to take a closer look at the front desk staff and their apparent lack of work tasks and general ineptitude. For some of us, a $225 visit (plus lab costs) is expected to be paired with professionalism.

Saved our sons life! Got us in ASAP because they go by severity and not length of time waiting. They listened to us carefully and told the paramedics calmly what happened while we were panicking. Made a stressful situation very easy and helped us communicate with the hospital so we didn't have to explain anything when we got there! Genuinely they saved my baby. Thank goodness they were open! The doctors and nurses deserve a raise!

I visited this location on Friday night. Not to be rude but my first impression was why do they even have two women working reception when they make you stand at an IPad and fill out all your personal information yourself? I’m grateful I wasn’t in excessive pain or actually very sick - because standing at an iPad for 15 mins to fill out something that was once a receptionists job, would have been unbearable. The purpose of my visit was because I had a fever after having a surgical abortion on Wednesday. My symptoms were a headache and a 101 fever. I will say the wait time to be seen was fairly quick given the time of night I came in. The medical knowledge and advice given to me from the doctor (not even sure if she was one?) was unsatisfactory. They did no urine sample , no blood work, no Covid test. They just advised me to go straight to the hospital while in the same breath making me extremely nervous that something was actually seriously wrong with me by saying I could get sepsis. When I expressed to the doctor (?) the surgery that I had on Wednesday she asked me if I had incisions- this was the first red flag that made me think she had no idea what she was talking about … how are you a doctor and someone tells you they were 6 weeks pregnant and had a surgical abortion; and you don’t know that they don’t cut you open to perform that procedure … it is a strictly a vaginal vacuum aspiration. I looked at her like she was crazy when she declined to test my urine for an infection- she told me it wasn’t worth it because I need to go to the ER and they will do all the testing there. All in all it seemed like she wanted nothing to do or had no idea what she was dealing with. I am not trying to be rude either in what I am saying it was just shocking that they did literally nothing for me other than take my temperature, something I can do at home - but still want to charge me 50$ for the visit …. As soon as I left the office I was extremely upset because I did not want to visit the ER. LUCKILY I was able to reach my gyno a few minutes after leaving the office and expressed to her my concerns and advised her that I visited urgent care and they said it’s absolutely necessary for me to go to the ER immediately. She honestly laughed and told me this was nothing to worry about and to come into the office the next morning to be checked out. She re assured me that infection is EXTREMELY rare after an abortion and if I had an infection I would be extremely sick. It is truly alarming to me that there are people who are working at these urgent care facility’s that are not knowledgeable in all areas of healthcare. I followed up with my gyno today and there was absolutely nothing wrong with me. My fever was gone this morning when I woke up as well as my fever. My gyno advised me that it’s common to come down with a fever after having a surgery - sometimes it is just the body’s reaction. I am grateful that there are doctors out there who are qualified and well versed in the field. I will say that everyone at this urgent care facility was very nice - but being nice doesn’t mean you are actually qualified or knowledgeable in your field.

Good experience. Dr Brandon was spot on with his diagnosis and medication. The team at the North Lindenhurst office is caring and upbeat. Have been there before and if necessary (hopefully not for a long time) will be back.

Hardly any wait, pleasant staff from the receptionists straight through to the physicians. Everyone was so kind and attentive to my child. They even wrote “feel better” on the disc of the x-ray, what a sweet touch. I would definitely recommend this place and I’m sure with football season coming, I’ll be back with my child myself!

Do NOT go here. Unfriendly staff and the nurse and doctors are clueless. The nurse forgot to put the test strip in with my strep test. I had to wait 10 extra min for the test results because of his negligence. The doctor then misdiagnosed me. I suffered for two days until I finally went to my primary doctor who treated me with antibiotics and a steroid for a severe sinus infection. The doctor at city MD not only didn’t take my temperature, he told me what I had was viral and to take Motrin. Absolutely horrible experience.

The front desk employees were so sweet and had great customer service. They took me in right away. The women who took my vitals and doctor were thorough and had great bedside manner. If you or a loved one ever need to go to an urgent care you should be going to this one.

There should be a separate line for Covid testing. We cannot be in the same line with people who is here to see a doctor for other reasons. Update after 3 days; We still didn’t get our PCR results. If you need PCR results fast, this is not the place. Note; Doctors are nice. So If you are not in a rush, maybe this place is great for you.

Absolutely horrible! My daughter went there at 5:30 and just came out now! Yes it was packed but when she finally got into the exam room they forgot she was there and left her sitting there for more then 1/2 hour! She was not feeling well and so upset! Unacceptable! 2/hours plus! No not ok! If she hadn’t come out of the room to question she would have been there all night!

Dr. Herman Tong was amazing!! I wish the whole staff was as great as he was. This was my 5th or 6th visit and it was thee most pleasant experience ever!!! His bedside manner, his knowledge, his humor…and I didn’t even have to ask for a dr note for my son. He asked me! Usually the dr.’s at this location look at me like I’m crazy for needing a dr note for his school. I never want to see anyone other than him! 10/10 for Dr. Tong!

I won’t go to any other urgent care. This clinic is large and always immaculate. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. They got me in, diagnosed, and treated within 10 minutes. The nurse and Dr. Tong were cordial, efficient, and very thorough. I always had a positive experience when I come here.

I've had numerous visits to this facility and each time the experience is very much the same. Everyone whom I interacted with has been friendly, professional, and most helpful. I feel that I am receiving thorough and excellent medical care. I highly endorse and recommend this facility to everyone in need of immediate medical care.

I came in with a bad cough. I thought I had bronchitis. I was told that my lungs were clear and I was not sick. I said, I must have some kind of infection as I was coughing up yellow phlegm. I was given Prednisone and an inhaler and told to come back if my symptoms worsened. They did the next day. So I went back on Friday and was told my lungs were still clear and I was coughing because I smoke. I never cough unless I am sick. The PA Brandon finally gave me a prescription for antibiotics even though he said I didn't need them. I'm 62 years old, I think I know when I am sick. I don't know if I will come back to your facility. They made me feel like a drug addict looking for opioids.

Doctor Amy is amazing, she was so humble and down to earth while remaining professional. You could tell she was trying to tend to the patient as much as she can. Caring, understanding, considerate, helpful. She needs a raise. She’s the best.

On Wednesday August 23, 2023, I wasn’t feeling well I went into City MD in Lindenhurst New York. They were extremely friendly and very helpful. I was very happy especially I’m in the medical field over 30 years. If anyone needs help I highly recommend going there.

I went in for a checkup due to discomfort while I was on break for work. They understood and accommodated me and quickly got me tested and with an antibiotic within 15 minutes.

The doctor/provider was friendly and patient and most importantly thorough! The Medical Assistants were comforting and supportive, always making sure I had everything I needed! Even the office manager was very busy but still extremely patient and pleasant, as she was multitasking and helping multiple patients at the same time but still made sure I was able to see a cardiologist the same day! Staff members called around to many doctors offices and they set me up with new doctor with my new insurance and found me an appointment for the SAME DAY! It was amazing. Thankfully they did because he was exactly who I needed to see, and not just another ER visit. This staff was amazing, teamwork was excellent and while stressed and under pressure they were calm and compassionate. I’ll definitely be using this location and only this location in the future! Thank you so much!

I fell and couldn’t walk. So I came to CityMd Lindenhurst. At first the lady was super sweet and got a wheel chair for me. She almost crashed me into the brick wall and accidentally made me twist my foot so badly I almost cried. The medical assistant was extremely rude, the doctor was about to clock out and just wanted to leave barely cared and the tech guy who did the x rays laughed at me when I told him I couldn’t lay my foot a certain way. I asked for crutches and they didn’t have my size and the medical assistant said, “Test your luck.” Then they all laughed. Don’t ever come here. I was in so much pain and literally every single one of them are nasty.

I was just here with my father who was having possible CHF and I was in a panic. Everyone here from the girls in the front to the nursing assistant and doctor… VERY attentive, sharp, and got my dad in an ambulance within 10 mins of walking through the door. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and very kind, I was very impressed with the treatment we received when dealing with an actual emergency. Thank you

From the moment you get there, everyone is a complete professional, from the receptionist to the medical staff. I've never waited more than a few minutes to be seen and they are such nice people. The place is immaculately clean. What else is there to say?

  • 5/5 Robin C. 2 years ago on Google
They were kind, sympathetic, and thorough! I was treated very well and knew exactly what I needed to do when I left. The medication I received is working well and I’m feeling better already. Thank you for your kindness and thoroughness, it’s very reassuring to know you’re there!

Highly recommend. Front desk was kind helpful and professional. I was seen promptly. Doctor and his assistant were also kind courteous and professional. Problem with prescription sent over to cvs was immediately dealt with ( problem was not with this office but with insurance) . Definitely would return if I needed to.

I went to this location this past Saturday. I didn’t wait long to be seen by a doctor. The medical assistant who asked me all my questions prior to being seen was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The doctor was extremely thorough , asked many questions and very informative!! The girls behind the desk were super nice! And the place was immaculate!! I do not understand why this doctor does not have her own practice. I was very impressed by her

  • 2/5 Patricia R. 2 years ago on Google
The doctor was amazing and extremely informative. The front desk was extremely unprofessional and were making fun of my son and our current situation. If my son wasn’t with me I would have not such nice words to say to them and if he wasn’t really sick I would have left and went to another urgent care

Needed to go in for a checkup but was told they actually close before 8 pm. You heard that right they close a full two hours before their posted time. They will not let you in as they did with me at 7:50 a full 2 hours and 10 minutes before their posted closing time. Google update the hours. This is a scam. Thank you for reading.

I had a high fever for 2 days and was able to see an MD right away. Lucky for me citymd was there for me and directed me to go to the hospital based on their testing. Thanks for the great service!

I was very disappointed when I went to the office (at 6pm last Tuesday night) to be told that I needed an appt & that I could come back the next morning at 7am. I told them that I needed to be seen (due to my asthma) & the girls at the front desk didn’t care.

If you are here for Rt pcr test for traveling, forget it you will miss your flight, they send their sample to a stupid Summit lab in NJ. That lab will not give you results in less than 5 days, and also they don't want you to count sat Sunday in your wait time that means add another day or two if you took test on weekends. They will tell you to make online portal with Summit lab to get the results, but that lab is worst ever they never put results on your online portal, you just waste time to register with that lab. City MD doesn't care about your travel plans don't miss the flight because those results are not valid for traveling after three days. I had to cancel my plans because of that you should not. Go look for another urgent care which give results back in two days..
